Mr Rooter sent out someone right away when we called them regarding a leak in our dining room ceiling. Our technician, John Schmidt, was courteous and helpful every step of the way. He helped connect us with a water restoration company who dried out our water damage and came back once the ceiling was opened up to help identify the cause of the leak. He gave us a very reasonable invoice and pictures for our insurance company. We would absolutely recommend John for plumbing diagnostics and support.

Dustin was a pleasure to deal with from the moment he arrived through end of the job. He took all the time needed to answer all of my questions, and provided an honest estimate, and expert craftsmanship, and explained various options for repair and replacement. Estimate was extremely well detailed explaining every aspect of the job. Job was completed the following day after estimates. We went for a new water heater. Dustin really knows his stuff. Brought our new water heater installation up to code. We were very pleased and wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend this company who employees such honorable people as Dustin. Thanks for a job well done, 5 star service, and a 6 year parts and labor warranty for a lower cost than competitors who were more costly who only offered a 2 year warranty.

We were without water for 6 days before we found this company, which was recommended by a friend. We should have called them first. John came to the house within 3 hours, explained the entire situation, what he knew and didnt know. Our supply line had burst, but we didnt know where. John located the copper pipe underground, gave us three estimates, with the pros & cons of each and what could go wrong, and answered every question I could think of. We hired them immediately, and John connected our water overground until the digging and plumbing work could begin. Kenny and Darrian came a few days later to dig and connect the line. They finished in about 5 hours and were very professional. One other thing: we were able to avoid breaking up concrete and any demolition inside the house, thanks to Johns cautious approach and analysis. The price was reasonable, much lower than the one other estimate we had. (The other company did none of the investigation John did. They only asked questions and gave us several options, all of which involved demo or concrete work.) Money well spent.

They did quality work—putting in two dry wells, hydrojetting an old corrugated drain and an installing a new PVC drain in my yard. Owner William did initial visit to estimate hot water heater removal and installation and spent 90 minutes. Within an hour he had emailed Good, Better, Best estimates for the job as well as a pressure regulator install he recommended to drop our pressure from 90 to below 70 psi. Email included detailed quotes and photos.I got three more quotes, including one for 20% less from a one-man operation using a lesser brand and one from a big box retailer,. I went with Mr. Rooter because William seemed most solid. In fact, I WAS SO IMPRESSED THAT I bought their 3-year membership plan, which I rarely do.Mr. Rooter had a crew at my house within 10 days. As promised, the crew called at the appointed hour on the appointed day to tell me they were on their way.The lead plumber Ryan was exceptionally professional. He asked me to move my car so he could park in driveway to avoid trampling my grass and always donned booties before entering the house. He also introduced his assistant. A second tech showed up to install the regulator and William came by for a QA check. I really appreciated the high-touch professionalism.Ryan kept me up to speed throughout the job, letting me know when he was leaving for supplies, for lunch and taking a break from the heat, and finally, that he had cleaned up after himself and would check to make sure the gates in the back yard were closed. He showed me each installation and how to shut off water if needed and informed me to call the city to replace their meter at the curb. Finally, the crew took care of two minor issues for me. They set a high bar for Great service.

Of course it didnt leak right away, but he stayed around until it finally did. He was able to determine the leak originated at the shower head. He fixed the leak and gave us helpful tips for taking care of our tile. He was very friendly, and we will be calling them again.

I highly recommend Mr. Rooter to handle any plumbing issues you might have! William sent me six (yes, 6!) options for fixing my water leak issue, and for each option he included a detailed work breakdown and associated costs. Very impressive! On the work day they arrived on time, William did a measurement again and discussed an alternative with me, which saved me $300. They used sand and gravel to backfill and a steel tamper to compact the backfill, making sure that there will be no settlement issues later on. I am very satisfied with their work and will definitely use them again!

I had a break in my sewer line that required about 30 of pipe needing to be replaced. Not only did they have to dig up my yard but they also had to cut into my concrete driveway. Mr. Rooter was one of five quotes I received. The owner, William, came out and provided different quote options and talked through everything. I loved the up front pricing with no over quoting and offering to haggle down like a couple of the other places...just give me an honest quote and dont under nor overvalue the work! I also loved the generous warranty that they offered on the parts and labor. Shows they dtand by their work! They were able to schedule the service quickly and were awesome throughut the whole process. Between the office staff and the repairmen they were great about communicating evey step with me and answering any questions or concerns. I also loved that they were able to repair my concrete for me, in house, and I didnt have to find another contractor to handle the work. They were meticulous in replacing my sewer line and getting everything back as well as they could. My plumbing is working very well and the concrete patch looks great. So glad that I went with them! - I already referred my bf to them to look at getting some toilet work done!

We recently called Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Charlotte to schedule a repair to an existing natural gas line leading from our crawl space to a gas log fireplace within our home, as the logs were not working properly. Technician Dustin Nichols was promptly dispatched to our home. It was clearly evident that Dustin was extremely knowledgeable about natural gas lines and the home appliances connected to the gas lines. During Dustins initial inspection, he informed us that a different plumbing company we had originally used had failed to place a required regulator on the gas line leading to the gas logs. It was a cold, dark, and very wet evening when Dustin demonstrated his outstanding professionalism by immediately getting to work in our crawl space and strategically made the necessary safety repairs to our gas line. Dustin also went above and beyond by checking the functionality of our entire gas line system within the crawl space, which helped us feel safer. Had them come out to install a tankless water heater for us. Their quote was fair and detailed and the tech did an amazing job laying out all of our options.After we agreed to do business with them they even helped us find some manufacturers discounts that lowered the price for us. The install took about a day and a half and went fairly smooth.2 days later we suddenly stopped getting hot water. We called them and they sent someone out right away (the electrical outlet they had to install was bad they swapped it out and we were good to go an hour later)All throughout the process they were incredibly responsive. My tech was Matthew Rice. Friendly, professional, easy to work with. My house was built in 1958, this started out as issue with disposal and leak somewhere under the sink. Disposal is 18 years old, it was leaking from bottom. Also, leak from pipe fitting at wall on hot supply line. Matthew was super thorough and patient, great attention to detail. Took pictures throughout process to document everything. He ran into a couple of other issues that were also addressed. (No surprise there considering age of plumbing.) What we thought was going to be a 2 hour job morphed into 8 but every bit of it totally legit. Matthew worked hard the whole time, sweating , no lunch break, a total work horse. He gave me options, didnt try to upsell me. There was no service fee just for showing up. He gave me a written estimate before he started work, and had me sign off on each thing he found to agree on the additional work work. All in all he was great to work with and Im very comfortable and confident in the quality of the work that was done. Virtually the ONLY issue I have has nothing to do with the tech or quality of service. I wish there was more transparency in pricing. At the end of the day, the sticker shock still hurt. Yes, he gave me amounts throughout the day as more issues arose. But nowhere during this process is there any breakdown parts vs. labor. Even allowing grossly inflated/ marked up prices on the disposal, sink flanges, pipe fittings etc. the remainder hourly rate for labor would be...stunning. Itd be much easier to swallow if one was told up front what to expect.BTW, I had just gotten out of hospital for respiratory issues, or would have tackled the disposal myself. Ive done a lot of routine plumbing repairs successfully myself over the years, so Im familar with the costs for parts, and degree of difficulty of the repairs done yesterday. Matthew did a great job and I very much appreciated everything he did and how hard he worked. A little transparency in pricing (not just totals for each task but a breakdown on parts and labor) would be my only request. Thanks.

Ryan came and set the toilet perfectly. We just had our floors redone and the new floor was lower than the old so he had to very carefully cut out the old flange and replace it, if not very careful the concrete would have to be torn up and replaced to get it out. Very professional and super neat.The following week Darrell came out to install our pedestal sink with faucets. Again very professional and extremely neat. The 24 hr call center rep was courteous and professional but the first available appt was the next day. She said they would send a tech earlier if possible. 15 mins later a representative called and said they had a tech who could be here in 10 mins. Laszlo Peters showed up on time, assessed the situation, we agreed on the course and cost including a service discount. 30 mins later he completed the work professionally and sent me a copy of the paid invoice along with pictures of the job. I used William Iliev and his team from Mr. Rooter over the past few years on two separate occasions. The first was when our sewer line from our house to the street had become clogged from tree roots growing inside our sewer line. Mr Iliev & his crew were on it the next day after i called & completed the work the same day.On the other occasion, we had them hook up our new gas stove, replacing our drop-in electric stove. They connected to an existing gas line from our laundry room to our kitchen. When we needed an outlet to plug in our stove behind the counter, they did that even though electrical is not their primary business. The part they went over and above on, was our new stove was less than an inch wider & they cut our counter top to fit exactly. They worked with the city to come out, inspect and pass their completed work, which included installing a new carbon dioxide meter. They are professional, expedient & quoted the best price on the 3 companies we had give us quotes. I highly recommend using them for future projects or issues.

These guys were life savers. We had a major repair that was caused from our foundation settling. It cracked our sewage pipe, and had was leaking from the exterior, and starting to get in the basement. They were very understanding of urgency (and cost) and had it fixed that same day! They dug a 4 foot hole, jack hammered out my current connection, and had it fixed and repaired by the end of the day (around 7 pm). They sent out extra resources just to make sure it was completed on time.They are also one of the few companies who will come out without an initial charge. Ive had them come out before and they were upfront and honest about what I could do myself to save a few bucks.
