    Richard deserves 5 stars, no question. Over the weekend I obliterated our sewer cleanout pipe with the mower while mulching leaves. I called on Saturday, spoke to someone who was on-call, and made an appointment for first thing Monday. Richard arrived on time, explained how he will fix it, and even made an effort to reseed the dirt around the pipe where he had to dig.The price was a little higher than I anticipated, but for the short notice and quick appointment it turned out good in the end.I would call them again and am very happy with Richard’s work.

Mary Kay provided excellent customer service and got us scheduled extremely quickly. Bill was great going through our options for water heater replacements. And last but not least, Vinton and Rhett did an outstanding job installing our new system. They were on time and had our new system up and running before the end of the business day. If you are looking to replace a hot water system, highly recommend this team of professionals.

    Queen City was my top choice out of 4 quotes for a new water heater. Bill Ferguson made it easy for me to say yes by getting me everything I asked for and following up after the install to make sure everything was taken care of. And Vinton Moore did an excellent job installing the heater, moving the water shutoff to a more accessible location and insulating to avoid freezing. Definitely recommend!

    I can’t say enough about Queen City Plumbing. I had an emergency situation where I had to remove all galvanized sewer pipe in the crawl space and from the house to the road with PVC pipe. Communication was consistent and very clear. I was given options including costs that were extremely fair. The team was punctual each day and I was always updated as work moved on. Call Justin and his team. You won’t regret it!

    I had 2 hot water heaters go out at the same time. I received a couple of estimates. Queen City asked the right questions and had the best offer. It was a huge unexpected expense. They offered financing and completed the job the next day. Very happy customer.

    Vinton, (our plumber) is prompt, kind and holy smokes works like the 3rd otter walking on the Ark and its beginning to rain. He demoed the bathroom in a couple hours (this world have taken me a day). I am impressed, he draped the work area and cleaned up after. Awesome!

    On Christmas Eve our front yard flooded and unfortunately our house had to be repiped. Fernando came out within an hour of us calling and was patient to go over all details of the repiping. I have super high anxiety and he made sure to go over every detail so I knew exactly what was happening. The repipe started the next day and instead of dragging it out over multiple days, Fernando stayed until almost 11PM to get the job finished. He tripled checked everything and even put the sheetrock he carefully cut out back in place bc I had voiced the concern of having cats and open wall spaces. He also cleaned up enough to exceed my expectations. Such a blessing during such a rough time! Thank you so so so so much!

    We needed a plumber right away to fix a toilet that was leaking at the base, after another company had to cancel our appointment (giving a shout-out to Mr. Rooter for contacting Queen City Plumbing on our behalf after they had to cancel; that was very gracious).     The workers did a great job of putting stone down by the storm drain pipe, and filling the hole for the storm drain back up. Next week they will finish up and put seed and straw down. The workers are very friendly and considerate.I cannot say enough about how helpful Bill was, he is a great guy. He explained to me step by step what was going to take place.     Queen City Plumbing performed our houses hookup to the city water system. Their initial pricing was fair and they were able to come out quickly once our cities water department completed their end. They professionally completed the hookup. Separately our aging pipes could not handle the higher water pressure & immediately leaked. Luckily they were present to stop and diagnose the issue.They provided a very fair price to fix this new issue and came out the next day to complete and we now have running water again.Thank you specifically to the crew- Michael, Rhett, Haydan and Caleb!!

Knew exactly what I needed and after installing the Liberty Grinder had an electrician they have a working relation with check the system to make sure it was in working order. And wired correctly.     Called this morning to get someone out ASAP to help unclog a toilet. The rep I spoke to was polite and helped me book for service this afternoon. When the plumber came, he went over the charge with me which came to about $266. I figured that would seem about right if some major work had to be done. But it took all of 3 min for the plumber to use my plunger and unclog the toilet. The plumber was super nice, his name was Daniel. I know neither of the techs have anything to do with the price and both employees were great! But $266 for 3 min of work to plunge a toilet seems insane to me. I will stick with a smaller business next time. This was highway robbery.Edit-changing for two to four stars because I got a call from the business today. Caleb did let me know that I should have not been charged that much for a simple toilet plunge and that the tech was new and still learning how the business operates. I hope that’s the case and just a mistake was made! Caleb credited me back and I was just chargedabout $45 which seems WAY more reasonable for a toilet plunge. This was very honest of the company to get back in touch with me to make it right.

    I’m thrilled with how quickly Queen City Plumbing was able to get my hot water problem solved. It was taking a frustrating (and wasteful) amount of time to get hot water from my tankless heater, and Michael came out within a day of my call to take a look. He was able to tell me exactly what sort of pump I needed and send me a quote right away. He and Rhett came to install it today and were in and out in no time. They answered all of my questions and helped me understand the problem and the new equipment. I’ll definitely call again for any plumbing issues or other upgrades in the future.- - - -Returning QCP customer here! Michael came out to see if I could install a Moen flo smart monitor/shutoff in my home, gave me a quote quickly, and came back to install a couple days after it arrived. It was a breeze!     I used Queen City today for the first time. Caiden, Comorey, Fernando and George were very polite, professional and informative as they installed a new tankless hot water system at my house. Initial results were good. The company cleaned up well and finished everything within one day. A year later, they just paid me a free maintenance call to confirm everything is functioning as it should. All is well!Kudos to Bill Ferguson for his very professional presentation here prior to my decision. Free estimate provided, although the price did come in at several hundred above their nearest competitor.14 months same as cash, electrician and Roofing skills were all included in the price. And unlike the competition, they were available within just a few days. Considering everything including what I paid, 5.0 stars. 😀Most recently, their plumbing work at my house was expert and reasonably priced. On the other hand, their bid for a similar job at my apartment building was about $100.00 over the competition. Surprised by that.

    Queen City Plumbing provided great service again. This time, they fixed a leaking steel sink pipe in the wall under the sink. In the past, they have fixed our hot water heater and garbage disposal. Customer service was extremely prompt, professional, and helpful, Mary-Kay and Danielle, and the plumbing service, provided by Mike and Rhett, was extremely professional, fast and efficient! The plumbing service quote was higher than expected, but we’re very happy with the service.

    Justin and his team were great to work with! After 14 years in our house we finally decided to upgrade our water heater to a tankless. It’s been about a year now and the difference is incredible! We got a new shower with 2 heads and we can have that one, our kids shower, laundry and dishwasher all going at the same time and never run out of hot water! This is great for when family or friends come to visit and everyone needs to get ready at the same time. Another unexpected bonus is that the tankless unit can be mounted outside right next to the gas main, which frees up a good bit of garage storage space. Justin’s team was quick, efficient and very professional. I would highly recommend Queen City Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs!

    I had 2 companies turn down the job, and 1 come out to say that they could not turn off the water to the unit or building in order to replace the ancient Sloan Flushometer from wall to toilet.     Queen City replaced our whole house with plumbing due to a leak under our slab. Instead of Jack hammering through our slab, we elected to replace all of our plumbing. Our quote was very reasonable especially compared with other well known plumbing companies in the Charlotte area. Donald, Fernando, Hayden, and Dakota were great and reasonable and They took 2 days with just four guys. They kept the cutting of walls to a minimal and even were able to not cut holes in main living area. They tried to keep as little of cutting as possible. They cleaned up every night and walked through what they did every day. During the replacement, I asked for a new shower valve and they replaced that for very reasonable cost since they realized what I was already in for. They went above and beyond to make sure all fittings were in code for existing ones and even switched one shower fitting out due to it not being in code. They came through after and ensured screw protectors were in place and cleaned up after. Would highly recommend to anyone for plumbing in the future.

    We wanted to upgrade our kitchen stove from electric to gas and this involved installing a new gas line from our existing gas meter. We called around to a handful of places to have someone come out and give us an estimate. Most places wanted to charge a fee for coming out or could not come out right away. This is where Queen City stepped in. Not only did they not charge us for the quote, they were the first company to have a someone come out and look at what we needed. Bill Ferguson was at our house within 24hrs of calling them. He was on time, straightforward and quoted a reasonable price up front. He explained everything about the job and what they planned to do. I was initially impressed. We tried getting quotes from several other companies. A few were outrageously priced compared to Queen City and others we did not feel comfortable giving them our business, so we ended up going with Queen City for our installation. Just two days after we opted to go with them, they scheduled a technician (Fernando) to come out and do the install. I cant say enough good things about the turn around times, it exceeded my expectations. Fernando was an awesome tech! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and truly cared about the quality of his work. He did an outstanding job installing the gas line and we couldnt be happier with how it turned out. The next part was scheduling to have the line inspected. Queen City scheduled everything for us and kept us up to date throughout the whole process. After the inspection was done, another Technician (Paul) came out the very same day and completed the final hook up of the line to our stove. Paul was also a great technician. He finished up the job without a hitch. He was very friendly and you could tell he truly cared about his customer service and quality of his work. All and all, we are very satisfied customers. Queen City Plumbing exceeded our expectations of customer service. I would not hesitate to call them again for any other services we might need in the future.     We have been using Queen City Plumbing for many years now and I’ve always been very pleased. This past Sunday we had an emergency situation where my husband drove off with a garden hose accidentally attached to the his tire of his car and it ripped the spigot right out of the exterior wall to our house. Water was gushing out and pooling around the foundation of our house. We tried, but out could not find the main shut off to our water. Queen City Plumbing was very quick to send someone out to assist us. Fernando from Queen City Plumbing immediately located the main shut off to our water at the street and resolved our broken spigot problem promptly. Fernando was extremely patient and professional. He carefully explained the details of the repair he was going to do and he took tons of pictures of the plumbing under our house. He explained that we have access to view the photos anytime when we log into the Queen City Plumbing website customer portal. Not once did we feel Fernando was pressuring us into spending additional money or doing unnecessary plumbing repairs. He took the time to carefully explain the ins and outs of the plumbing of our 1951 ranch style house. He made helpful suggestions about improving the plumbing situation at our house such as replacing the now defunct main shut off valve inside our house and how we could resolve the slow to reaping hot water on the renovated “newer” part of the house. At our request he prepared estimates for those repairs/upgrades. We would recommend, and have already done so on multiple occasions, referred friends and neighbors to Queen City Plumbing. I feel their honesty, professionalism and skills set themabove other plumbing companies.

    The team from Queen City were responsive, professional and did excellent work. The job, installing a thankless hot water heater, was EXPENSIVE though. The total cost, after tax to install the $1700 unit was just shy of $8000. It took 3 men 6 hours to complete the job. $1000/hr, or $333/hr per man. Quality work, but worth it? I dont know, but shoddy work would be disastrous, so one pays what the market demands.Despite the cost, the resulting system is a tremendous improvement over our old tank system, and the pros (a special call out to Vinton Moore, a real pro and a gentleman too) at Queen City did top notch work. After the job was done, I got down in the crawlspace to inspect all aspects: the electrical wiring was clean and tidy; the newly installed gas line was likewise well routed and cleanly terminated; the venting of the unit was just about as tight and clean as one could imagine; the condensation drain line was neatly routed through the brick exterior of our house. The only nit about the work was a drywall penetration into the crawlspace that really should have been sealed by the team. I sealed it myself with $0.25 of foam sealant in about 30 seconds, so no great foul there.All in all a good experience, but an expensive one.

    Will definitely use Queen City Plumbing again in the future. Jeff came out to give me a quote for water heater replacement with recirculating pump. It was cheaper than my other 2 quotes for the same amount of work and he was very knowledgeable. I accepted their bid and within a day they had Fernando come out to replace it. He was done in about 6 hours, answered all my questions no sweat, and man does the unit look good. Everything is running great and no complaints.     Overall I have had a great experience. The technicians Jeff H. and Rodney were excellent. They were efficient and got the entire system hooked up in a timely manner and were very professional.Unfortunately I had a delay in my project getting city inspection and eventual clearance for the job. I would say that the company could have done better about communicating delays and could have been more organized in that regard. But ultimately they did a good job and will likely use them again for future services.

    We had a leaking toilet abs needed repair. They came out very quickly. We had to leave for out of town but we’re contacted by QC that they wanted to double check the service. They scheduled a service manager (Paul) and a drywall expert to come and make sure everything was like it never happened. Outstanding.

    Queen City Plumbing provided excellent service when we had an emergency broken water pipe on a weekend. Dispatch was immediate and the plumber quickly assessed the problem. To make matters worse there was a rain storm, however the plumber insisted on getting the work completed while getting soaked at the same time. Much appreciated! Would definitely use Queen City Plumbing for any future needs, and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

    I had a really bad leak under my kitchen sink, so I called Queen City to come out and fix it. In walked Fernando and Ryan. I was impressed from the start. They entered the house with their mask on and took their shoes off. The sink was repaired in a timely manner and looked like new. But, the best part of my experience was the extras that was provided. They checked the water pressure and temperature. Fernando adjusted both and explained what he was doing. He even answered a question I had before I had a chance to ask.     Our hot water tank started leaking and needed to be replaced. We were without hot water and contacted several different companies. Queen City Plumbing was outstanding at every touch point during the process. Diane worked with us to have someone (Jeff) come out and see what needed to be done. Jeff was thorough, and took the time to answer all of our questions regarding different options. Diane was able to add us to their schedule the following day which we greatly appreciated. Service included removing our old tank and installing a tankless system. Paul, our service manager, did the install with Raistlin and both were phenomenal. Our house is over 25 years old and the install needed additional time and parts. They were totally on point, completing all the work by the end of the day. Paul also took additional time to address some other issues that we needed done. As promised he communicated this with his scheduling team and they called us back to schedule that work first thing the next morning. We highly recommend Queen City.     Paul Glover and the entire team at Queen City helped prevent a catastrophic gas explosion due to a major gas leak at our restaurant, which was built back in the 60s. Very thankful for their work, responsiveness, and professionalism. I must’ve called 15 different companies before I found someone who could actually do the job in a timely manner. They kept me up to date on the progress of the work and did a very thorough job detecting other areas that were leaking. They even came out to help us with the inspection and it’s something not many companies will do. We really appreciated that level of service esp since the owners don’t speak much English. Imani was very pleasant and professional when assisting setting up the appointment.     Fernando came out early while I was still at work. I said that I wouldn’t get home until noon so when my son called me at work that the plumber was already here. Fortunately my son was home was and able to handle the service fee. He told me that the plumber said it was something that we could take the broken part to Lowe’s and get a new part and put it in tomorrow.     After poor experience with our Home Warranty denying a claim with a different plumber, Jeff with Queen City came out and gave us a great estimate on very short notice. They helped us understand the problem and was able to send Jeff back out as soon as possible to repair the issue.
