By the time I realized my AC had stopped working around noon yesterday, it was 4:00. I had never used Charlotte Mechanical before, but I have a friend, Tom Schmidt, that works there. After texting with Tom for a while and doing troubleshooting, he told me to call the office because I needed a service call. I called a little after 4. I had a service technician at my house by 5!! Kris was awesome. He did a thorough evaluation of my unit, told me the facts and gave me my options. We discussed what to do, cost, and best case scenario. Kris resurrected the outside unit that is on its last leg. I have AC for the weekend and maybe for a few weeks. And, Im going to make an appointment next week to replace my system. COMPLETELY SATISFIED! After calling several HVAC repair companies, I went with Charlotte Mechanical. Their technician Thomasz was very professional, knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my AC problem. He explained everything along the way, so I was able to set my expectations. It was obvious that this guy was a real pro. Once finished, my AC was fully restored and now appears to be running flawlessly. The overall repair cost seemed fair and was in fact lower than other quotes received. I was so impressed by this service quality, I signed up for the annual maintenance contract. I’ve been using Charlotte Mechanical since 2016. I purchased a Trane system. Since then, I’ve used them for maintenance service. Each technician always does an excellent job maintaining my system, which is in great condition. Special thank you to Tomasz. Charlotte Mechanical is not one of those ‘big business’ heating and cooling companies so they will take great care of you. I think it’s worth using them to know your investment is well taken care of! Sydney who makes the appointments always works with my schedule when absolutely needed. I do recommend this company.

I chose CM because I knew the manager and he didn’t like the way other companies deceived their customers. So when the time came and my furnace wouldn’t kick on I gave them a chance. Kris came out to diagnose why there was an issue. He showed up early and was very thorough. It’s an older furnace but he was honest and said the line was clogged with rust and gunk. The fix to say the least was minimal cost. Kris was very kind and personable. He explained everything in terms I could understand. Because of my experience I decided on a maintenance plan with CM to keep my HVAC running as long as possible!

Kris was excellent! He spent a lot of time carefully inspecting our four HVAC systems, explaining to us in detail the issues with each, and advising us on the most important issues to address in order to extend the life of each system. Three of our systems are getting up there in years… the longer we can keep them going by maintaining them properly, the longer we can wait to spend all that money having them replaced. Really appreciated Kris’s expertise and advice. Also, Ginger and Sydney have been so helpful and friendly in getting us on the schedule and keeping us informed about what to expect. Charlotte Mechanical has been more than great! They installed my new AC system last year and came out recently to do a cleaning and maintenance check. Kris who is not only extremely friendly & polite, but more than thorough! Not only does he do an impeccable job, but also discovered that I had a propane leak on a nearby regulator (that had absolutely nothing to do with the AC but was kind enough to take time to find the leak with a bubble solution since he could smell the gas) that the propane pump company who has been out twice, failed to detect!Thank you so much Kris! He not only inspected my HVAC system but explained the results of the inspection to me and made sure to answer any questions I had. Eric was extremely friendly and graciously offered to help with the removal of plastic deflectors, placed over two of my ceiling vents, that I no longer needed. I am happy to say that I will continue to use Charlotte Mechanical whenever service to my HVAC system is necessary!

We have been using Charlotte Mechanical for a few years now for our HVAC and plumbing needs. They are a fantastic group of people with integrity and do quality work. Our previous home received a completely new HVAC and tankless water heater from these folks. Our current home received two new tankless water heaters that were installed perfectly (they also found two small gas leaks and patched those up for us too). Our HVAC system needs some help so were currently having Charlotte Mechanical (Chris is our Technician) quote us for a few fixes like adding better filter system, and maybe some Air Scrubbers to the mix. We are on a maintenance plan with them so they come out twice a year for HVAC and once a year for water heater service. Overall, they are knowledgeable and friendly and I trust them to ensure my sytems are running efficiently. I highly recommend Charlotte Mechanical for any HVAC or Plumbing needs.

I cannot rave about Kris with Clt Mechanical enough. This is a kind and thorough young man! We have had a few freak accidents happen in regards to our units and Kris has gone above and beyond to try to fix these issues. He take the time to thoroughly explain them as well. Kris recently came to our house late at night to help us after a storm. He followed up to continue to fix problems a few days later (this was leading into Labor Day weekend). He wasn’t leaving until I had working internet. He stayed late and made many runs to go get parts for us. He was here through dinner time and I made him sit down and eat with us and he was so pleasant.I sure hope charlotte mechanical takes care of him. He is a great young man that truly cares for others!!!

My experience started numerous years ago when a tech name Nick serviced our system- he was straightforward and told me my system was fine today but had issues and should be replaced in the next 2 years.3 1/2 years later Tech Justin came out and found a leak that was far too costly to fix- plus our system used the old Freon Justin spent the time to show and review what was the issues in a plain English way.I made an appointment and Joshua came out and assessed our needs and made numerous recommendations. Joshua was very informative professional and he gave us just a very solid feeling of trust and caring.At this point given the age of our system and the numerous issues it was presenting we decided to have Charlotte mechanical replace completely our two systems.Brian Tom and Eric did an outstanding job of explaining what they were doing And installing our systems. They were on time, very courteous quite honestly I could not have wished for a better experience.As a matter of fact the access to the upstairs system was through my home Office. When everything was completed Joshua completely vacuumed my office.Ironically our house was cleaner when they left then when they came.I highly recommend Charlotte mechanical to anyone who needs their services.I got such a great value and feel much relief that my investment was well placed with Charlotte mechanical.

The installers, Tony, Mike, and Brian (Ryan?) were respectful, wore masks, cleaned up all of the materials and the work spaces in my home, and completed the installations with great efficiency. With great patience and consideration, the salesman, Josh, went over and above to explain the new systems to be installed in my home. In addition, he expedited the installations during a very hot week in South Carolina. He took the time to explain the new thermostat, and even checked up a few days later with a personal visit to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied with the new systems and the service I received. Fantastic service from Charlotte Mechanical. The company that installed the system in our home could not get to us for almost a week and the system is only two years old . I call Charlotte Mechanical in the afternoon and talked to Jacob, he gave me things to check to see if it was something simple, once we eliminated those things he scheduled the service guys for first thing the next morning. The service tech called me first thing and let me know he was 30 minutes away, when he arrived a second tech showed up as well. Tomas and Cole went right to work and carefully explained what they were doing and were able to find my problem. After the repairs were completed they cleaned everything and waited to make sure everything was working properly. I was so impressed with the level of service I enrolled in a service Contract to have the units serviced twice a year. Weve had a few vendors out to look at our furnace and AC units and all of them have been far from noteworthy of using again. Late last year our AC Unit began to rattle so we were aware that we would need to replace the almost 20 year old unit before the summer heat. We used Duke Energy rebate/referral service and had 3 vendors come out and quote upgrades. Only one was quick to respond to questions and changes, extremely honest about conditions of existing unit and ductwork and clearly highly educated in HVAC systems. That was Jacob from Charlotte Mechanical.While others were pushing for more expensive units and total replacement of ductwork, only Jacob clearly advised us on any issues with our ductwork and why or why not we would utilize 1 or 2 stage units and guided us on a solution we felt comfortable for the short and long term.install and inspections went smooth and we are now just waiting for the heat of the summer to utilize our investment.We look forward to continuing to utilizing Charlotte Mechanical for our maintenance needs in the future.

Since it is direct vent I knew it was going to be expensive but WOW!!!😳 I decided to try Duke’s energy referral service and after getting other estimates we decide to go with CLT Mechanical. They were prompt to send someone out to provide an estimate, they offered options/solutions (not excuses, cant’s… etc) and ultimately I got a bigger unit over $500 less than the other quotes. The install went smooth and very neat two days later. I would recommend contacting them should you find yourself in a pinch needing a water heater.

Prompt, Professional and Efficient Servicing of our Navien Tankless Water Heater!We initially had a service visit from Brothers Heating & Air, who were only concerned with selling us a new system to the tune of almost $6000.00. The tech from Brothers never even opened the panel on the unit to take a look at it. Fast forward to last night, I checked Naviens website for service in our area and Charlotte Mechanical was right at the top as a recommended servicer of Navien units. I sent an email, got a quick response and set up an appointment in the morning. The gal who setup the appointment advised Calvin would be our tech and he was very knowledgeable of the Navien units. Calvin arrived promptly when he said he would arrive, asked us some questions and quickly got to work flushing, descaling and cleaning the unit. After the flush, the system was performing as it should. Calvin thoroughly explained what he was doing and made some recommendations for the future to improve the performance of the system. No surprises with cost either, which was priced fairly. Very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. The family has hot water again and all is well with the world!
