I tried to fix my toilet on my own. Epic fail! I have family visiting for the Labor Day weekend and needed a professional to fix the toilet. Luckily, Michael & Son could fit me in today. They sent me a text message once my appointment was confirmed notifying me of my technician. I appreciate the extra safety and care that they exhibit toward their customers. This helps to verify the identity of the technician who arrives.Ryan called and said he could come earlier. He arrived about 20 minutes later. He was dressed in a uniform and used shoe covers to avoid tracking any dirt in the house. He was friendly and professional. He looked at my issue, walked me through the solution, and provided a quote. They charge for the work task, not by the hour so you know and understand what your final bill will be when the work is complete. After I agreed to proceed, he finished the repair pretty quickly. Ryan cleaned up all the water, materials, took the old parts, and even put the floor mat back in place that I moved prior to his arrival. The work also comes with a warranty.I have used Michael & Son for electrical work, but now I can attest that they are just a great company all around. I would highly recommend them for any home need that you want done right the first time.

They are highly professional and all techs are very experienced. Logan and Chris took time to explain everything and walked us through a new smart thermostat. We have gold service to keep our system running smoothly! Logan and Chris were the kindest, most experienced perfect techs for our job. Well done Michael & Sons. I would move here just for your service!!!We also had Carlos A. to do a full day of electrical from lights, dimmers, ceiling fans, electrical boxes. He was the best electrician we have ever had!! It has been some cold nights here in Charlotte and our heat stopped working. I called Michael & Son Services and they sent someone out in a promptly manner even though I was given a 6 hour window. Christopher was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the service call in great time and explained what the issue was and how to avoid such along with regular maintenance. We would definitely be using their services again when and if needed.

Holiday weekend hanging a final shelf for the wifes office and i got extremely unlucky and drilled into a water line inside the wall. Water was shooting out everywhere. I got the main shut down and called Michael and Sons immediately. They had a technician named Matt come to house within and hour and a half from my call. He was professional and extremely knowledgeable. He repaired my dumb mistake and was very helpful. Thanks again for the fast response and perfect repair.

I would like to highly commend technician Van Ruata for his excellent service in repairing the leaks that were addressed. Van demonstrated his leadership by quickly assessing the source of the leak and working diligently to resolve the issue. Van was extremely knowledgeable, engaging and professional. He explained each step he was taking and I appreciated the extra attention he gave to detail. I was impressed with his ability to get the job done efficiently and effectively. Helppp! I need someone to repair and put together the under cabinet pvc that my husband took apart.Strange smell kept me up for two to three days. I found that the smell was coming out of the undersink pvc pipes under the kitchen island. Oh nooo....My husband, although at 72 tried to fix it...(going numerous times to Lowes and Home Depot) trying to decide what he needed to put the Lego ;( pieces together, found it was a bit more complicated than hed thought.Needless to say, Labor Day weekend and I was beside my self!Tuesday morning I googled plumber near me Michael and Sons was the first one I reached out to. I spoke with Ms Kia which I immediately explained what had happened and needed someone to come out to fix it.She told me a tech would be out between 10:30 to 1:30 same day. At 10:52 I recd a call from the Technician that he was 30 mins out.I was greeted by a smilingBryan, uniformed, with a floor mat already on the ground, and with plastic covering his shoes...nice!!!He came in asked me questions, he explained what needed to be done, quoted me the price. ...the house built eight years ago found that as of today needed to be up to todays codes, outside of the fixing.Bryan was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He has Great work ethics and a pleasant young man.He reconfigured the piping and added a vent. I am not a plumbing expert....but the job looks great!Thank you Bryan! For you 5 Stars!!!!

Tommy brought his A game👍This is Crashpad business (Team International Crashpads ONLY!) where Flight Attendants (FAs) live when not on assignment. They work at Charlotte - Douglas International Air Port (CLT). There are 12 beds arranged in 3 rooms.Their multiple schedules had to be coordinated for this project to be successful. This was more than installing 3 ceiling fans. There were not lights or fans in the ceilings.This was NOT a Handy Man job!!As a result, if the schedule appointment was missed, my business would have suffered reputational risk and the FAs would not have had fans or lights in their rooms. They want to thank him!!He stayed until late night and I went upstairs to clean up ... it was already done. AMAZING Profesional. He submitted 2 additional quotes for other projects.Hes my new Electrician 👍👍👍👍👍

She was absolutely wonderful in terms of being very calming and patient while answering my questions, reviewing basic service charges and options of services provide by Michael & Son Service. The company had availability to see me quickly for two separate appointments. I was given a very reasonable window time of when the technicians would arrive and sent a text and phone call when the technicians were about to arrive. Christopher was assigned to check the furnaces and later in the day Thomas arrived to look at electrical concerns. Matt with Michael and Sons performed several plumbing related projects in and outside of my house. Everything went very well. He was hard working, knowledgeable and very good at his job. Tasks varied from replacing my kitchen faucet, replacing outside spigots, draining and refilling the hot water tank, adding a bypass line to the home filter line and replacing bathroom spouts to eliminate an annoying sound when the showers turned on. All tasks were done perfectly and in a timely manner. I’m thankful to have had a true professional at a reasonable price. Matt filled in wonderfully for Bryan who was originally supposed to do the work. Both were fantastic.

Thomas Parker did a phenomenal job fixing our electrical box after a tree pulled it off the wall. Not only was the estimate reasonable and there were no surprises day of, Thomas worked diligently from morning to evening to ensure the work was done right and passed inspection. We were able to only be without power a few hours rather than what could have been 2 days because of his efforts! Would highly recommend.

He was very patient and meticulous in rebuilding a leaky faucet for which there were no readily available identical replacement parts. That saved us a lot of money because we didn’t have to replace the entire faucet. Overall a great technician who provided superb customer service.

Absolutely blown away! I had a broken water line in my side yard near a large tree. I called Michael and Sons and the plumber, Van, was at my house in less than an hour! Van gave me an estimate, which I pleased with. The roots from the tree were so large that another plumber, Lal, came to help. These poor guys had to shovel and cut through the roots, to reach the water lines, for hours in mid 90’s temps! Once the water line was reached, the repair was quick. They filled the hole nicely. I am so happy with the whole experience.

My house built in 1982 . An electrical inspection was done . Nathan was very through and professional. I had a 30 amp service that was getting water in . Nathan knew how to fix it efficiently and now works like a charm. I’m very pleased with the work and the company. They handle my heating and cooling and now my electric. Great company and employees!

I’m happy that I contacted Michael and Son’s to help me update the lighting in my home. The technician, Carlos, has don an exceptional job. He communicates effectively and is true to his word. We have replaced old track lighting, updated spotlighting in three areas, and a new chandelier in the dining room and a new ceiling fan in a bedroom, and an exhaust fan. All installed masterfully. The job was done very nicely. He had to work around other workers and they all worked well together. I had to have plumbing re routed for a structural repair. I also had an electrician that had a rough job rerouting electrical wires for a major structural repair. They were both very polite, knowledgable in their fields. I loved that they cleaned up after themselves. I was so happy to see that men can actually accomplish that😀. The structural folks have not done that.Michael & Son also got out here immediately when the structural company called them to help the project move forward.I would use Michael and Son again for sure

Of ALL DAYS…One of Augusts Hottest & of course it’s the Birthday to boot… The frigg-n AC decides it’s all over! No more anything… DONE…100% OVER!!! Really can’t complain- the unit was from 1995. Jim came out and really worked with me, listening to what our family’s needs were devising a plan to meet those concerns head on! He’s the Man with a Plan! Before we knew it he had located the perfect system to accommodate & all within the budget. Caring for an elderly parent in there mid nineties with 90+ degree weather & a heat index in the 100’s can be quite stressful on a regular day…when the 90’s move inside- well everything seems to deteriorate from that point forward. Thankfully we didn’t have to pack up and head to a hotel …Jim had packed a couple of portable AC’s with him allowing us to remain in the home until our new systems install. What a blessing! Thank You Jim! Thank you for making a very stressful day a much more stress free tolerable day… Seriously- You are much appreciated!! Now for a piece of CAKE!!!! :)

Was very patient with me & the home warranty company, who had us on hold and keep transferring us, to different departments. Completely his job in a timely manner and wore shoes covered in my home.Only complaint is the price. I don’t feel this job should’ve cost $456.00 , this is my opinion.
