I was having issues with my unit freezing. Through my home warranty company, a local company agreed to assess my unit, however they never came after two appointments and even cancelled by appointment.I then contact my home warranty company expressing my frustration. They managed to arrange an appointment with Accent Comfort to come out the next day. The CSR, Emily, even contacted me to confirm the appointment! Jim (TECH) came out and fixed the issue. The unit had low freon and refilled it. Its great knowing that they are committed to coming out ASAP and pinpointing the issue. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks Emily and Jim.

Wanted to share an excellent HVAC company with community - Accent Comfort Services. Last year we terminated service with a company which acquired our previous service provider. The acquirer installed a new furnace and air conditioner and we subsequently ran into numerous frustrating issues. After a lot of research we switched to Accent. Their service techs are outstanding. I asked one to give me a quote on sound dampening for our furnace (which sounded like an airplane when it stated up). After quoting a project to add a dampening platform the tech found the vibration source to be the blower housing. He fixed it for nothing. Their techs are technically sound, trustworthy and take great ownership in their work and service levels. I’d highly recommend them.

We are having our home remodeled and outside of the process, our hot water tank went out. We were stressed beyond belief. We worked with Dan Mills who was so responsive and professional. He had his technician Dante come to our home to look at the problem and discuss options going forward. Through Dante’s process and due diligence, he was able to fix our issue and we had hot water within a couple of hours. The response from Dan and his team was quick and I cannot tell you how greatly we appreciated our experience. I will be using Accent Comfort Services for all of our plumbing needs going forward and recommend them highly to anyone needing plumbing, hvac or electrical work done.

Last April we had Accent completely replace both of our upstairs and downstairs systems for our home. Our systems were almost dead and we knew that they would not make it through the summer. The price was fair and was clearly broken down for us to understand. After we paid the deposit we were immediately scheduled for our installation. The technicians were extremely professional. The day of our install was recycling day and the recycling truck dumped our bin in the middle of the road. One of the technicians immediately picked it up and dragged it back to the curb for us. After install the technicians even asked where are vacuum cleaner was and vacuumed our floor. We were very pleased with the whole process and have had no issues with the units over the past months. I highly do suggest if you know your units have issues to get them looked at and/or replaced before the summer rush. Overall great experience. I have even had Accent out to my mother-in-laws house for plumbing and they did great work there as well.

I have nothing but praise and thanks for Accent Comfort Services. I woke up to having no heat in my house. I called them right away. The appointment was quickly scheduled. The technician also called beforehand to tell me he was on his way. As a new homeowner of an older home, I don’t know the history of my furnace. The technician could have taken advantage of that situation and sold me parts and service I didn’t need. Instead he was completely professional and skilled. He got the furnace working quickly without problem. Then I was impressed that he stayed to make sure it was properly working. I was not overcharged. It’s nice to know that Accent Comfort Services is there for people in times of need. I highly recommend them.

Accent replaced our unit 2 years ago and it went out last week. It was a part that they were going to have to order and it was 98 that day. After a call Dan found the part in town and had someone come and put it in for us. The labor or refrigerant werent under warranty and ended up costing us $800. He was kind enough to take off $100 for us as we just got the system not long ago. I would recommend them for sure for your HVAC system replacement and repair.

I’ve hired Accent Comfort Services for two plumbing jobs - one planned and another emergency. Each plumber I’ve worked with has been excellent. Their knowledge and expertise was immediately noticeable. They had a professional and courteous approach, and I felt they were recommending the most appropriate solution each time at a fair price. Their service left me feeling confident the job was done right and relieved. I will continue to call on them and recommend them whole heartedly. Each time I had an estimate from one of the larger companies that was not only improperly scoped but markedly higher than Accent. You may have to wait a little time for Accent to get to you but it’s worth knowing you’ve got the right people.

We came home from a weekend away to find our house at 88 degrees. Of course this was a Sunday night. We contacted the company that we had a warranty with but could get no response. Finally called another local company who came out and fixed it. But 2 days later it was out again. Company came back and decided it needed a new fan motor and replaced it that day. By that evening, no AC again! Started getting the run around when we called again. Had heard a lot of positive experiences with Accent Comfort Services from 2 family members and 2 other friends. We called them and they came out the next morning. They found the motor that was installed to be defective. We contacted the original company who installed it and they argued that it was surely not defective but would send someone out. It was a no show. Called Accent Comfort Services again - they came out the next day. It was then determined that the wrong type fan motor had been installed by the original company. Accent immediately got a new fan motor, installed it, and its been working perfectly since.Throughout the entire process, Accent Comfort Services (Dan Mills) and all the staff were extremely professional and followed up with exceptional communication. They assured me they would do everything they could to get us comfortable again in our home. I would highly recommend them!

I am on the board of directors for a nonprofit in Huntersville NC. We are building a Community Resource Center and depend totally on donations for support. Last summer we were expecting company when the first heat wave hit us. Fired up the A/C and it was not cooling the house at all. No way we could have a house full of people in that heat. We called several hvac companies ad everyone was slammed. Accent sent out a tech the same day. We ended up needed a whole new A/C unit and they had it install the next day. We called around to make sure the price was good and it was very competitively priced, especially considering the next day service. I hope to never need them again, but I would not hesitate to use them should the need arise. I would also not hesitate to refer them to friends and family.

His willingness to present a Fair, cost effective and reasonable product was truly refreshing. During our conversations I felt like Kirk truly understood my situation and was going out of his way not only to get me a package that I needed, but at the best possible price - well beyond what he could easily say is the “take it or leave it” price. I felt he was 100% genuine and honest about what packages were available and what were best for my situation. The only reason we chose a different company was a family member association with another company. If at any point I become disappointed with my decision I will not hesitate to give Kirk a call.

We have a house that was built in 1977 on a slab. A leak under the slab has a couple of solutions. We contracted Accent to re-plumb the water lines in the house and, since the hot water heater had never been replaced Accent also installed a tankless water heater.The crew that fixed our house was incredibly professional and highly skilled. The work was done quickly and right the first time. We are absolutely thrilled with how our (now modern) water system works (no more scalding people in the shower when a toilet is flushed!).We were SO impressed with the people at Accent that while they were still here working on the water system we asked Accent to also replace our aging HVAC system.The crew that performed the HVAC work was equally professional as the plumbing crew had been and that work was completed exceptionally quickly. Were enjoying our nice, uniformly warm home and are looking forward to a more comfortable, and more affordable summer as well!I HIGHLY recommend Accent for any of the home infrastructure work that you may need done!

I arrived home to find the HVAC system not working. I called Accent and they sent out a technician as soon as one was available. They identified a short had caused a transformer to fail. Easy to replace the transformer but the challenge was to find the location of the short. The technician did a good job finding the short, repaired the wiring and reset the thermostat. The best part was the technician (Mark) called me the next morning (Sunday) to make sure all was working well and it was. Not often you get a call after the work has been completed. I have used their services for the past year and a half personally and for many years as a REALTOR suggestingn them to my clients. Last year they helped me discover that my connections under my home were barely attached after my inspector missed it. I had called them to have a spicket installed when we discovered that. I had them out to install an outside outlet when they discoveted my main support beam was 40% rotted from termite damage. After having a contractor fix that they came out and repaired the damage that contractor did to my heating exhaust and lines. They are not the cheapest but they do great work at a fair price. I was unfortunately in need of their services twice in one week. One hot water heater issue then the next day I had an air conditioning problem. I don’t understand how anyone could possible use anyone else. They had same day appointments both times I called. The techs were both super nice, courteous, and professional. They would answer any questions along the way and one guy even gave me some tips to help make my hot water heater last longer and showed me how to do it. Both techs were super quick in diagnosing, explaining the problem, best course of action for repair, and fixed it same day. I guess I was a little lucky with parts being available, and my luck normally sucks with that kind of thing. Neither one tried to sell me anything I didn’t need, or tell me I should replace everything, etc, that I have had on the past. I might sound like a commercial, but if you have a plumbing, electrical, or hvac need, there is one place to call.
