The night before Thanksgiving, I received the dreaded phone call from my neighbor that a pipe burst in our front yard. He cut off my water for me and checked inside and when I got home, I went to work trying to identify the source of the break outside in the yard while my wife desperately called around trying to find a plumber on call for Thanksgiving. Strand Brothers came through for us, I genuinely mean that, as dispatch got us an early appointment and Carlos R. showed up before 8am. He was (very respectfully) skeptical that what I identified was the only break, and he was indeed correct. He was able to replace the whole Y junction and meters with higher quality materials in less than 3 hours, and he gave me a better access point for the future. After a long successful Thanksgiving, I just took a shower and I feel like a King. Carlos, if you get to read this, I hope you know how much our family is thankful for you. I give you 5 stars, and Strand Brothers is my first call next time the “bad thing” happens. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Discovered leak at front of garage, which ended up being under slab leak. AB, Race, and Alex were amazing in taking care of multiple issues resulting from that leak. I appreciate the help that we received from Franklin and Luis over at Strand Brothers. I was fortunate that they were available to assist our property on the same day that I called. I had an emergency water leak that was caused by tree roots coming from outside of the property line.We are grateful that they worked through the rain to complete the job, and the water service is restored. I will keep the company saved as a key point of contact for any plumbing issues in the future. I highly recommend this company as well as Franklin and Luis.

01 July 2024New HVAC system installed, 2 stage, 4-ton unit plus new gas furnace and thermostat (I didnt need new thermostat, but the old one was over 20 yrs. old, no extra cost). My old thermostat was easier to program). About six hours plus to install. The installers (Felip, Tino, and Austin) did and nice job with the installation and cleaning up when finished.The new system is much quieter than the old HVAC system. I need someone to explain about inside air fan speed as this system air volume is much less than my old system.Will have to wait to see if 2 stage higher efficiency system will save $$ on electric bill.

My heat pump install by Yaikel Felipe went very well. They were prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The installation went smoothly and quickly. I showed them the location of the equipment and they took over from there. At the end of the install they walked me through the network connection and use of the new thermostat and the connection toand use of the mobile app.I am very happy with their efforts.

I have a maintenance membership with Strand Bros and she was thorough to inspect all aspects of the system, including a cleaning of the outside units.At the end, Amber explained that although my system is older, it’s working within specifications for now and a full replacement isn’t necessary yet. I really appreciate the honest evaluation.

I appreciate Sam and Ekzavier coming out today for the season maintenance check of our system. They were friendly and knowledgeable. When Sam asked how everything was going with the house, I made a comment about having more trouble with the sprinkler system than the AC unit. Sam took a moment to check the water pressure and provided options on how to handle the sprinkler system impacted by higher water pressure. They even checked the water heater. Although both the AC and water heater are old, we talked about options and they offered suggestions when are the best times of the year for replacements. I appreciate them, and I appreciate Strand Bros. seasonal service plan.

Jose Ortiz was 10/10 on communication and problem solving. I’m a new homeowner and needed a primary line flushed - was able to book with Strand Brothers on a Monday for end of week Friday between 4-8pm.Jose called at 4:10 to let me know he was on his way, arrived at 4:30 and stayed till 6pm on a Friday. He also showed me how to “maintain” my unit with vinegar and water. Also showed me the primary line drain (had no idea where it was prior!) and honored a coupon a had clipped online. I felt safe and well taken care of by Jose - he’s been in the business for 17 years - will DEFINITELY book again. (Give that man a raise!)

Easy to schedule online. They called about 20 minutes ahead so I could put my dogs up, and the technician was on time. Daniel was great! He let me follow him around and ask questions. Ive had my home 7 years and suddenly it seems like TikTok is telling me Im not doing enough maintenance on my large appliances! Daniel educated me on anode rod replacement and several water softening systems as well, which I really appreciated.They do offer a maintenance subscription thats pretty affordable, but I didnt feel pressured into buying it- which makes it all the more appealing to me!

We ended up learning a lot from him. Ive had Strand to my rental property in Volente and they have always provided top notch service. Today it was my personal residence being serviced and, once again, service was excellent! The service rep was an unnecessary bother but the technician himself, Diego Pinto, was outstanding. Diego was thorough and took his time as he explained everything he was doing, everything he saw, and provided great assessments and recommendations without pushing, hyping or overselling. While I did not take him up on the addition of a blue light (yet) to combat some slight biological growth, I was impressed enough to buy a yearly service contract. Awesome!

Strand installed our AC units about 6 years ago and we did a service plan but after 4 years we cancelled because we did not feel the techs were being very thorough in their job. However 4 days ago our upstairs unit quit functioning. Christian came out diagnosed the problem correctly the first time and talked me into getting the service plan again. I was a little disgusted with myself but it did need a little tlc. Today our systems were serviced by Amber. OMG she is very thorough and careful. I was impressed with her attention to details and the care she took with our systems. We had a lot for her to do and she did it without complaining (like a previous maintenance tech). As long as she is there, I’ll keep up the contract. I’m sure next time she will have less work to do. Amazing tech.

Notice my water heater went out on me late at night. Pretty impress how fast Strand Brothers were able to schedule me first thing in the morning. Technician ended up showing up right at 8am. Have to say hands down tech Caleb Mock was amazing. I feel like he went beyond and explain everything to me (luckily Water Heater was still under warranty) still had to pay labor. We had a pretty large pipe leak(more like a giant spray than a leak!) at our childcare center. Old buildings have many plumbing headaches and with children it is even more urgent, but Josefat was here at 4pm on the dot(they said between 4-8), which is rare with plumbers! I don’t typically write a lot of reviews, but this is important. I’ve now had 2 good service visits by Strand Brothers, for bi-annual maintenance, but today was the best. I’m not prejudiced to only having a man service my HVAC system, but I was more than a little surprised when a professional, yet energetic fireball named Amber showed up. I work in a heavily male dominated manufacturing industry, and have 26 yrs of experience in custom induction motors. After Amber gave me a report card (with pictures) of the health of my system, I quizzed her on a few things about my outdoor condenser, (start-up noise, amperage spikes, etc.), and she knew exactly what she was talking about. That’s to be expected, but her responses didn’t make me feel like she was lording over me with some high-born knowledge that only an expert would understand. That’s what was awesome.I’m not an HVAC expert, and I don’t want to be. What I want to do is hire someone to do the job, do it right, not try to sell me something I don’t need, or man-splain things I care nothing about. Our system went out Sunday, Monday we were told it was dead and needed a new system called Strand brothers Monday rep was out same day and Tuesday three tech showed up at 9am and were done installing new full system inside/out before 2pm. He is good at what he is doing and he knows the AC system so well and he can spot the problem and fix it in no time! Highly recommended!Alex from Strand Brothers did a comprehensive check on my AC unit outside and inside and spotted the problem with my filter panel door fell down and the warm air got sucked in to the intake. We have condensate drain clogs once or twice each summer and I usually can handle it myself DIY. However, there was a clog at the top of the line (in the attic) and using the wet/dry vacuum at the bottom of the line wouldnt clear it. Efrain & Chase from Strand Brothers diagnosed the issue and had the line cleared within 45 minutes. Great work!

They checked the inside & outside unit & shared information with me about things I can do monthly to prolong the life of the unit, which I was grateful for. Will definitely use them again. I also had another technician, Joshua, out that drained my hot water heater. He was very kind & respectful as well.Raciel & Sam were another great duo. From Strand Brothers. Strongly recommend Strand for your HVAC needs. I subscribe to their service plan that includes bi-annual preventive maintenance visits, and priority visits in an emergency. Peter and Brian were very professional during a regular service visit today; they thoroughly explained their actions and made recommendations for the prevention of future issues with my heat pump.
