    We had Serge come check the very small leak reported by an inspector. He tightened a plastic nut and did not want to charge for such a small job nor there was a charge for coming out. This is the best plumbing company I have seen. He gave me an option to change out a part since the stopper wasnt working. For his no pressure option, I had him fix the issue and was glad to pay the reasonable charge for work done.

    My experience with Clarke Kent Plumbing has been excellent.Some years ago, I had a very stubborn drain that defied the efforts of several plumbers. Robert, a veteran from Clarke Kent assured me Im very good at this, and true to his word he had the drain cleared in 10-15 minutes. I decided Clarke Kent would be my plumber going forward.Earlier this year, I found that my kitchen sink drain line was blocked or broken so I called Clarke Kent. After several sessions of assessing the problem, we ended up replacing the entire set of lines from my house to the street (The house is 80 years old - the lines were either brittle clay or Orangeburg. The pipes had exceeded their useful life by several decades).Clarke Kent was not only competent but they were flexible and reasonable with respect to what, for me, was a major project. The team that did the actual excavation to allow the lines to be installed worked very hard and completed the work in two days.I also had an unusual situation in which my washing machine set in the back of the house needed a solution to drain to the rest of the system. Over the years Id received proposals from several plumbers about cutting through the slab or tunneling under the house and similar ideas to make the connection. Clarke Kent installed a pump. The cost to me for this project was about a third of what others had proposed.I particularly appreciated the relationship I was able to develop with Shane who was the supervisor for my projects. He kept me informed, proposed alternatives as we learned more about my needs, and quoted what I considered to be nontrivial but reasonable prices for the work. I spent a total of approximately $10,000 for all the work they did this year. I received good value for the money.I like that the company is locally owned and that they are well-established in Austin. I have recommended them to other people and will continue to do so.

    We are first time homeowners who recently dealt with a flood late at night. They were able to get someone (Travis) out here 9am the next morning to help us fix the problem (faulty fill valve + pipe clog). Travis was so helpful, reliable through the process. Great guy, even gave us some tips on pipe maintenance knowing that we were first time homeowners. Really appreciated how quickly they came and were able to help us resolve the issue. Highly recommend.

    Travis C. is amazing. He came out on a Sunday (when no one else would) and he is very professional and thorough. He is a great communicator too, he explained everything before he did it. He fixed our pretty serious problem in less than an hour. Ill be calling him and Clarke Kent next time I need help. They are really, really great.

    Great business! Was able to set up a next-day appointment with a one-hour time window. Received text confirmation of appointment and also a text when the Tech was on his way.Jeremy was very friendly and diagnosed the issue on my water heater. He also gave me a lot of valuable info on the machine, which was super helpful. Jeremy let me know about a parts recall from the manufacturer, as well, that I was otherwise unaware of.Price was reasonable and much cheaper than if I had to replace my whole machine (which is what the manufacturer recommended).Will use Clarke Kent moving forward, for sure!

    I highly recommend John Garlow and Clarke Kent Plumbing! I had an unusual issue: a prior contractor had allowed concrete to be poured in my toilet drain pipe and solidify. As a result, the pipe was partially blocked and we had serious issues with clogging in that toilet. Two prior plumbers came out and threw their hands in the air, telling me the only solution was to chip away the foundation around that pipe and replace it. When John arrived, he was on time, professional and told me that he thought he could resolve the issue without costly demolition and replacement. It was not an easy task, but John never gave up and, ultimately, fully resolved my issue without destroying my flooring and foundation. If you have a plumbing issue, these are the guys to call.     Juan was my professional yesterday. Arrived with a great attitude and a very friendly demeanor. We’ve had a very persistent clog in our kitchen sink; he quickly assessed the situation and got to work all while keeping great conversation and an inviting presence. After the clog was dealt with he even fixed a leak and readjust the pipes (that i had messed up trying to unclog myself).     I had the Clarke Kent guys come and replace the pipes under my house and the outside pipes as well. My house is old and it seemed to make every step as hard as possible, but the guys just kept working until they figured out and repaired each problem. I very much appreciate their knowledge and cheerful attitude. They did their best to get things back to the way it was or even better. They were very diligent about wearing their masks during this pandemic time. Sid and Josh were here the most and I can’t say enough in praise of their efforts.     Very professional and prompt service. Travis was an excellent plumber and I will be requesting him by name if we ever have plumbing issues again. We had a kitchen sink and separately a bathtub that were both blocked up and refusing to drain. Travis came out to and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it almost immediately.     Juan Martinez went above and beyond to fix our plumbing issues today! We had two plumbers come out before we called Juan and neither of them could fix the intense clog and blockage in our pipes. We have not been able to use our upstairs shower/toilets in over a week because of this. Juan spent several hours working and completely fixed the issue, explaining everything to us every step of the way. He was incredibly knowledgable and the only plumber that weve found that seemed to know what the true issue was in our house. He was awesome and saved our lives today!

    Its Sunday. Its 39 degrees outside and raining. Your drain is completely blocked somewhere in the five feet between the clean out hole and your septic system. Youve tried, but cant reach the clog. Its also a holiday weekend and your house if full of family.You also tried another company the day before, but they completely let you down. They said they would be out before 6PM. At 5:30 they call and say they cant make it, but promise to be there the next morning. Next day, you call at 11AM to see where they are, only to learn that they cant make it until after 4PM.I call Clarke Kent Plumbing and get their answering service. A person calls me back in less than 15min and says theyll have a person out in an hour. An hour later Juan Martinez shows up. I show him the problem, he gives me an estimate that I accept, and he gets right to work. Turns out it was a grease clog. He cleans it out, checks out the line with a camera, and all looks good. As hes cleaning up, he mentions that hes glad this wasnt a nasty job. Hes in the rain, its cold, hes standing in mud operating a drain auger, and clearing a clog of grease mixed with municipal sludge. Id hate to see what he thinks is a nasty job.Juan Martinez did a super job. Professional, up front, courteous, and he got our house working again on a rainy cold Sunday. Thanks!

    Weve used Clarke Kent Plumbing for years and theyre great - really responsive and thorough and polite. Most recently we had a plumbing emergency and they totally too care of us. We called in on a weekend and Krista called us right back and worked some magic to rearrange their schedule so someone could come out quickly. Juan came by in a van and diagnosed the problem, cleared the blockage and ran a high tech camera down the line to identify exactly where the problem was so we could call the City to have it fixed. These guys are the plumbers in Austin to call when you need your problem fixed and dont want to mess around.

    So extremely pleased with Travis’s service today. I had a major back up in my pipes which flooded my whole bathroom. I called Clarke Kent, who was the 5th place I called, and the only place who had availability to come out. And Travis was at my house 30 minutes later. Talk about fast service. Travis was very knowledgeable and friendly and looked at all the possibilities before finding the clog. He was prompt, courteous, the cost was very reasonable and he was able to fix the clog right away. I was so relieved and if I have any other issues he is who I’ll call!

    Very happy with the Service. Josh Parker is an excellent plumber who goes above and beyond to make sure your problem is fixed. He will be my permanent plumber as he provided an excellent service and fixed my pluming issue while other companies dragging for days and thousand $ in cost for few hundred bucks and solved in just 1 hour. He even went extra mile to get my replacement part from Vendor free of charge by calling them with out even asking for. He even followed up next day to make sure every thing is working fine.

    Clarke Kent Plumbing was the obvious choice with the most recommendations on my neighborhoods Nextdoor site. My friendly tech, Juan Martinez, arrived at the scheduled time and upon hearing it was sewage water that had backed up, referred me to a restoration company to discuss bacteria contamination clean up. He worked quickly to auger my line and ran a camera which showed roots penetrating my line at two points. He explained everything to me in understandable terms and showed me the roots on the camera as well as marking their location on the ground. Unexpectedly and much to my appreciation, he also replaced the fill valve on the toilet in my master bathroom free of charge. Juan went above and beyond to assist me during his service call and has won Clarke Kent my business for any future plumbing work.

    Toilet started to leak from its base when flushed. Called Clarke Kent at 8 am on a Monday morning. They had a standby plumber available. He called at 8:30, was there by 9:00, diagnosed leak as caused by an old worn out wax ring, removed the toilet, installed a new wax ring, reinstalled it, re-caulked around the base and cleaned up everything before he left. Job was done by 9:45. First class responsiveness and service. 5-stars.

    My home warranty sent out three different plumbers who did not know how to work on a power vent water heater that also heats a hydronic heating system. Clark Kent does and does it very efficiently and cost effectively and gave me the materials I needed to resubmit to the warranty.     We had called other plumbers they said they could get to us in about a day! When I called Clark Kent they said in a couple of hours and they did call back (Juan) showed up did the job on a clog line that was back up for days! He was in and out in about and hour there not cheep $300 just for a camera to fined the clog! $225 for the clean out! But a well done job!

    Travis Connor did a great job trying his best to find our location of the sewer drain.Our drain was hidden on the property and he could not use the typical entry points inside the home for video detection because of tile built around a toilet so he didnt feel comfortable pulling up our toilet and our p-traps in our sinks were glued together (non of this is typical).He ended up having to climb on the roof and use a vent pipe to locate our location of where our drain line is on our property.He did a great job and did not give up despite all the non typical issues of simply locating a drain pipe!!

    Serge Char was great in installing a new water heater after I had wasted 2 weeks in limbo with a supposed home warranty company. Dont waste your $ and time on a fake home warranty, just save it and get Clarke Kent to fix your plumbing issues.     I cant say enough about the job that Mickey did at our condo complex. It was after hours after he worked all day and he still had a positive attitude.When we called him we knew we had leaks from underground but not sure where.
