Joshua Brown did a very professional work fixing a low pressure issue that we had in one of our showers. He not only replaced the faulty cartridge, but also took the time to remove all the scaling that was blocking the water flow. The price was reasonable and he did not leave until we were satisfied with his job. Excellent craftmanship!

Eddie solved the problem that others could not. Our older home has some crazy plumbing and getting a new sink hooked up was not simple. Not only is it installed and working, he also replaced the non-working shutoff valves that had caused our leak problems. I appreciate how quick and thorough, Eddie was, answering my questions and asking before making any little cuts into the back of our new cabinets. Great company, fair price, we’ll be using them again when needed!

They did an outstanding job installing new hot and cold water lines throughout the house due to leaking copper plumbing lines in the slab.Collen , Was the lead plumber on this project and the quality of his work was second to none. His plumbing knowledge.is also deep and most importantly, he is honest and trustworthy. To ensure the project was done on time, Collen worked until 9:30 PM with our complaint. He showed me how to prevent the issues again in the future and gave me some pointers on how to deal with my current plumbing troubles without replacing my water heater at this juncture. Eddie came to the rescue...weve been without a sink due to needing to replace our disposal...which we did ourselves, but then thought wed messed something up because there was a lot of water draining into the cabinet. Eddie assessed that while we did install the disposal properly, somehow in all of that, the sink collar basket was the issue. He replaced that and then checked our disposal installation to make sure all of the connections were tight (he did adjust some gaskets). Eddie was friendly, efficient, and even showed me how best maintain my tankless hot water heater. I also appreciate the office staff who corresponded with me so quickly when I needed service.

Highly recommend Collen McBride and Rooterman Plumbing! For expert service and cost efficient solutions, I haven’t seen any better in my 12 years in Austin, and now Kyle.I had a major root infiltration in the main drain under my foundation. After a drain tech from a competitor (big national chain) removed the roots, their “sales guy” told me I had a “catastrophic failure” and needed to dig a 65’ tunnel and replace the whole thing. $30,000 and he had a Docusign (w/nothing itemized) ready to sign on the spot.Collen was the complete opposite. He ran the camera from the front clean out to the very back toilet (and then in the opposite direction), going very slow, showing me everything on the screen, and explaining what he saw in non-plumber, easy to understand terms. There was no break in the main PVC, and Collen quickly diagnosed that it was the mounting hardware directly below one of the toilets had been installed incorrectly by the original builder. No tunnel needed, just minor jackhammering. Total cost to fix was only $1,500 and he did amazing work on a fast timeline. He even told me upfront that I’d save several hundred dollars by removing/reinstalling the toilets myself, something most plumbers wouldn’t do.They are expanding to Kyle, so would recommend to everyone here.

Excellent service. I was able to schedule an appointment for a toilet removal/reinstall associated with a flooring replacement without much notice (3 days). The plumber took the time to answer any questions and look at other minor plumbing tasks around the house during the same visit.If you havent used a skilled tradesperson like a plumber for specific home repairs before, I highly recommend that you give it a try next time you have a plumbing task. The trained professionals can get the task done right the first time, with the right set of tools, without requiring additional trips to Lowes, and with additional insights on whether there is a related matter that needs attention or increases the risk of a problem.

He was very courteous and explained everything step by step. It did involve digging down to a pipe and making adjustments. The online system was so easy to schedule, I filled out everything yesterday at 5, and they replied quickly and set me up with todays appointment. This company is very professional. The water pressure is really great now!

He simply got started and explained what he was going to do and showed us how much it was going to be. We had some good laughs about how we tried to diy this drainage issue. I rarely leave reviews but Eddie from Rooter-Man, recently came to my rescue with a blocked sewer line, and truly deserves high praise for his outstanding service.He was the only one among several other plumbers, including technicians from WCID 17, who accurately diagnosed the problem and had the equipment to resolve it.All the others were inserting lines and cameras into the wrong cleanouts, Eddie just by looking at the 2 Cleanouts knew which was the right one and was proved right when he cleared the blockage.When we spoke on the phone he displayed a level of professionalism and was willing to come at any time if it was an emergency. He took the time to explain the steps clearly, was very knowledgeable, dependable and forthright with his commitments to me.In fact, it took longer for him to set up the Hydro-jet he brought than it did for him to remove the blockage itself! After clearing the blockage, he inspected the now clean pipes with a camera and shared the results with me. We will work of a long term solutionIn conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Eddie and Rooter-Man for any plumbing needs. I needed my toilet fill valves replaced, but they were screwed on so tightly, I couldn’t do it myself. Then the tank started running without stopping and I knew I needed help in a hurry. RooterMan dispatched Jason McKinley as my service tech with same day service. They also sent me a text letting me know when he was on his way. I don’t know who I spoke to but the dispatcher was very friendly and asked thorough questions for the service needed.Jason was very friendly from the beginning- offering to see if we could turn off the water via the (junk) plastic shut-offs instead of me having to manually turn off the water. He did an amazing job, recommending without pressure or sales pitch what to do about my hard water, even though it has a water softener, so that things don’t get worse later. He made sure to check everything was running correctly before packing away his tools.And he was very polite, turning a blind eye to the chaos that was my house interior (trying to pack for the holidays, decorate, and do laundry all at the same time is not a visually pretty combo!)He showed me an estimate on his work iPad and when it was done the final price was exactly what he said. And it’s a very minor thing, but another plumbing company didn’t wear the disposable booties over their shoes when they came in to fix a different issue.I hope not to need them often, but when I do, RooterMan will be my go-to plumbers, especially Jason! Hire them with 110% full confidence! :)

I noticed a partially broken pipe under one of my bathroom sinks which was also the drain for my AC condensation line. I had new ACs being installed the next day so needed this pipe repaired asap. I called multiple companies and Rooter-Man was the only one to respond with the sense of urgency the situation demanded. Jason was above all Professional and repaired the problem. We purchased a home which was flipped and the flippers did two things wrong. They replaced the bathtub which has a 1 ½ hole with a shower which should have had a 2 hole (they did this to save money). Then the tile man they hired put grout down the shower and ran a small amount of water which in turn hardened and the shower would not drain correctly. I had Abacus come out and they tried one tool and he said he hit something hard & he feared his equipment would break. He then called a camera guy from Abacus and they gave us 3 different prices $2000 to $6000. We were in shock. We then called our Choice Warranty our Home Insurance (they are awful) and they called in their person Blue Mountain. The guy was so unprofessional (looked like he rolled out of bed, dirty shoes, etc). We told him what Abacus said and he got within 4 feet of the shower and didnt even examine the drain and said if thats the case it will be $10,000.00. I contacted our Choice Warranty and they could find noone so they told us to find our own and they would reimburse us. Rooter-Man Plumbing charged me $247.00. He tried two different ways and it started draining. Jason is FANTASTIC and experienced and Rooter-Man Plumbing will be on our go to list for plumbing, Thank you Jason! Also BEWARE OF PEOPLE FLIPPING HOMES....they go the cheapest route!

After another plumbing company was a no-show to fix an underground water leak, I contacted Rooter-Man and scheduled an estimate using their after hours online request (their website). I found out about Rooter-Man via Yelp.Chris was excellent!! He explained why things fail (older shut off valve o-ring) and validated no need for a pressure reducer valve (expensive addition) by measuring the pressure. No need for it and yet the previous company insisted it was needed without measuring the pressure. Comfortable with the estimate, I agreed to proceed with repairs.After further digging, Chris discovered the leak to be underneath the sidewalk and proposed options including rerouting the supply line to the house and sprinkler system to reduce the time to repair.Quality work, communications and experience! I highly recommend Chris and Rooter-Man.

I bought a home that needed a lot of repairs over the the last 4 years. During this time, I’ve worked with a number of comanies including ARS Rescue Rooter, Roto-Rooter, and Koala Cooling. None of these companies can match the level of service, communication, and quality of work that Rooterman provides. Yesterday, I called them regarding an urgent sewer system leak issue. Today, they evaluated the issue and provided various options to resolve the issue, and some were $10k less than bids from other companies. Tomorrow morning they are scheduled to complete the repair. Definitely a life saver!

When my garbage disposal broke last night (and water started gushing below my kitchen sink onto the floor), after cleaning up the mess, I found Rooterman and was able to quickly make an appointment online for next day without any difficulty.Chris showed up promptly at the beginning of the appointment window, was courteous of our home (asking if he should take off his shoes, which I appreciated), and was able to identify the problem, propose the solution, offer clear pricing, and replace our disposal all within an hour of arriving.The whole process was so seamless and customer-friendly, and while I don’t hope I have more repairs in my future, I do feel at ease knowing Rooterman has got my back whenever the inevitable issue comes up next time.

Use these guys! So glad we got our 3rd opinion with Rooterman. One and two were doom and gloom / whole system replacement. Ironically, neither of them addressed the branch lines with the actual issues.. and left our tenants with a backing up bathtub and us with huge estimate...... Rooterman: In 30min Collen restored flow.... and got us varying quotes for future options that were not provided by the others........ Even if issues persist and we have a major overhaul down the road due to the age of our system, why would we trust the guys who didnt they try to clear the pipes with the issue? If they are so fanatical about customer satisfaction, why did they leave the bathtub backflowing such that the tenants couldnt shower? Its like they didnt hear a thing we said. Great work Rooter-Man

Collen and Jack came out this week in the blistering heat to replace my 25 year old Kenmore hot water heater with a tankless one (Navien NPE-180S2) in my garage. They also put in a utility sink and cleaned up all the water and gas lines as the tankless went on an adjacent wall and we didn’t have a utility sink prior. Guys were professional, knowledgeable, and did a great job. Plus, the price came in under the estimate and everything was cleaned up after they were done. Great job and crew.

I had a super shady contractor that messed up all sorts of things in my house. We got the shower hooked back up and it wasnt draining. Rooter Man came out and told me in the future to use Thrift Granular drain cleaner instead of drain-o. Then he pulled out a ton of rocks and other construction debris from my drain. It was also really easy to schedule them online, they cleaned up after they were done and super friendly. Ill add the picture of all the debris he pulled out of my drain.

Collen is awesome, used him earlier this year at a commercial property where his honesty saved the building owner a lot of money. One plumber said the sewer pipe a were broken from foundation shifting ($8k) while the other said it was even a larger problem which required concrete work ($22k 😳). Called RooterMan, Collen came out, was really thorough and took his time to not overlook simple concerns. After the thorough inspection and cleaning of the pipes, he figured out that it was just impacted and he patiently unlogged the pipes all the while showing me his progression with the camera system. Turns out there was no broken pipes or sewer run issues behind the building. The total cost of the proper plumbing fix was less than $900.Fast forward to today, we had a plumbing leak at the house, he figured out the source of the leak and the culprit. Turns out that our bathroom renovations contractor had done a poor job on a seal. Collen is just so genuine, really takes his time to find out the root cause and gives honest advice on the available options. He definitely has the customer best interest in mind.Thank you

We have a shower area leak problem. We are so glad that we have Collen from rooterman to come and help us identify the problem.Our scenario is little tricky since the water finds its way out of the house and penetrates the mortar between exterior wall and concrete. Collen is a patient guy. He cared about how we find out the problem and checks the concrete slab to identify how it happens.After the spot check, Collen broke down the problem into where the water coming from and how we fix it. He further recommended the shower pan test to narrow down the problem. The test would cost couple hundred dollars, Collen explained why the test could be helpful in my scenario and left the option open, and He walked me through the test step by step.The test result looks good, and Collen concluded the shower pan is fine. He further inspected the pony wall, finally he found the cracks over caulking sealant and detected water escaped through these cracks.Collen also shared his opinion on the potential damage behind the tile and addressed my concerns on mildew/mold. Collen also suggested one of their partner to do a further test on the damage of the wood behind tile and have a back up plan.The cost of the test can be little pricy, but rooterman will leave this open to customers, so discuss with them with questions and concerns. Btw, they may have discounts. It turns out this test is very helpful in our scenario.Overall, Collen is very patient and pays a lot of attention to our questions and concerns. He has very good problem solving skills and offers us different options and upfront cost clearly. We really appreciate it!The problem is not fixed yet, and we are still in the process. We will work together to get this solved.

I had an excellent experience with Rooter-man plumbing and who must be their best guy, Eddie!!At a residental rental property the previous tenant left us with some serious plumbing problems. Ive had 4 other plumbers out, and none of them were able to clear the drain. Those other guys, the Roto-Rooter ones, came out and actually broke a tool off in my drain, charged me full price without clearing the drain, and didnt even tell me about the surprise they left in my pipe!!! They truly only worsened the problem. Instead of telling us they broke off their snake tool in my drain, they had the audacity to suggest we needed to tunnel under the house to repair the pipe, with a absurdly expensive quote...Then we finally wised up and called Rooter-Man.Eddie came out and quickly discovered we had an unusual problem. (It turns out someone had put golf-ball sized rocks down our drain!) He was not only able to dentify the issue, but he was able to extract the other guys broken tool, clear the rocks, and completely resolve our issue, all in a 1hr service call.This guy is a true plumbing hero!Thank you Eddie, the super Rooter-Man!! Someone please give this guy a bonus and ahold star.I heartily recommend then.

It seemed to me to be a major repair, but everyone at Rooter-Man put my mind at ease that this was- for them- a routine job. Update - 6/5/20 - Had another issue in my front yard. Got an appointment very quickly and Curtis K. came back out. Again, we were dealing with mud and landscaping to get the job done - Curtis K. got it taken care of. Very personable and knows what he is doing. THANKS CURTIS K AND ROOTER-MAN!2/3/20 - Took a look at my water bill yesterday and it was almost 300. Freaked out. Front yard was wet and muddy. I spoke with a very pleasant woman on the phone at Rooter-Man who got me an appointment within an hour of me calling! Curtis K showed up on time and ready to get to work. Curtis was very cautious with the landscaping and plants throughout the dig. Hours and hours into the job he kept going even though the work was tiring. It was muddy, wet, and he was working in a tough spot. His leak sense was on point as he nailed where the leak would be in the end. He was on his belly almost upside down, he was digging with a shovel, and he never gave up. After the repair Curtis gave me tips on how to fill back in the hole properly and what to do if I had more problems. Curtis and Rooter-Man deserve all 5 stars!!

Collen was AMAZING! I usually am hesitant to spend so much on fixing things but he was so thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to fix our tankless water heater and make it so much more efficient. And then I had some other outstanding tasks, like reconnecting our gas dryer, which I think he just has a permanent check list in his mind to make sure everything was safe and in working fashion before he left.

I had a manufacture warranty issue with my Rheem water heater due to a known defective valve that the manufacturer was able to send a replacement of. I reached out to several companies that were listed on the Rheem approved technician site to request a quote over the phone as I knew exactly what the issue was. I called Rooter-Man and spoke with Misty who was very helpful and after explaining my situation she was able to give me a quote. Many of the companies refused to give me an estimate and some even charged just to come out to take a look (Rooter-Man does not charge for this). The one competitor that did provide a quote was double the amount that I wound up paying Rooter-Man. After doing my research I got back in contact with Misty and she was able to get a technician out the same day. She gave me a window of 11am-2pm, and the technician showed up promptly after 11. The technician, Collen, walked me through the process and informed me of possible issues that he may run into when replacing the valve and what the cost would be for these extra services. Luckily no additional work was needed. I hung around while Collen went to work as he was happy to explain each step and seemed very knowledgeable. He was in and out in about 30 min, and I now have hot water again! I will be using Rooter-Man for any future plumbing needs and would definitely recommend them to others.

I used Rooter-Man Plumbing to replace both the inlet valve that supplies my refrigerator water and the main water shutoff valve for the house. Lets begin the customer journey.1. I googled plumbers in my area, as one does. They were not my original choice I was leaning towards another provider but the reviews for the other company had some consistent negatives, while Rooter-Man had very consistent positives.2. I called to make an appointment (you can also submit a request via their web site) and Misty was amazingly helpful and was able to get me in the next day. I felt like I knew Misty from all the reviews that mentioned her and I can tell you she was lovely and very helpful in our interaction, setting clear expectations.3. The day of the appointment, during the 3 hour service time window, I got a text not only that they were arriving soon, but with their names, pictures, facts about them, and a link to track progress.4. When Jason and Shane arrived, they were very friendly and helpful. Once they reviewed the two issues, they gave me a quote for repairs via iPad, it was straightforward, no upselling. Once the quote was agreed upon, they began work, digging, cutting into walls, etc. so while the quote was more than I expected, since I didnt expect cutting into walls or digging, quote was reasonable; received discount for doing the work together. Once work was complete, we reviewed all and paid using same process via iPad. Overall, the process was pretty seamless. I say that as someone who helps businesses design processes for a living and sometimes gives feedback on businesses processes I interact with, not always welcome, but theirs was pretty good.5. Regardless of all that, the service was excellent, the technicians/plumber were communicative, transparent, and kind. They were also a hoot so even though lots going on, it was enjoyable to have them be part of our day. Will definitely be calling Rooter-Man again for any future plumbing needs and I recommend you do as well.

My water heater stopped working on Saturday and Curtis came out first thing Monday morning. He even had the part on hand and was able to get my water heater back up and running in no time.I really appreciate Curtis knowledge and thoughtfulness. Before wrapping up, he patiently answered my questions about factors that affect water heater longevity. I love that Rooter-Man sends you a brief bio of your assigned technician. Andrew and Jack were able to make it to my property the same day I called abut a leak under my driveway. They returned the following day to do the prep work and digging for a trenchless repair. Despite this taking place during the hottest parts of the day in the hottest summer in a long time, they were very professional, friendly, and prompt, and Im very happy with the quality of the work they did. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and very considerate of how to not only fix the problem but improve the setup as a whole, and I would trust him and rooterman again for large projects or repairs.

Curtis did an amazing job. I had a recurring issue with my plumbing backing up due to debris in the pipes that kept recurring after multiple visits from other companies. Curtis came in, added an additional clear out to the line, and hydro jetted the debris to clear the drains. He followed up with a camera of the lines that the blockage was fully cleared and identified another issue that I needed to follow up with the builder on. Very impressed with the level of service, the attention to detail and I am so so happy to have this issue eventually fixed.

We decided to go with Rooterman Plumbing of Austin after already having made an appointment with a different company. We did this because after calling and speaking to Misty she seemed well informed of all the different options that had to do with our clogged drain line from the house to the septic tank. We called and cancelled with the other company after Misty immediately reached back out to let us know that David, a master technician was in the area and able to come by right there and then. David went above and beyond to help us resolve our issue. He was kind and extremely knowledgeable. He ran a camera down our lines and showed us all of our issues as well as gave us recommendations on how to correct them. He explained everything as he did it and was very knowledgeable! We will never look elsewhere when it comes to any of our plumbing or septic system problems in the future. Highly recommend this company.

Recently had Rooter Man come out to look at several items that I needed done at the house to get some of the plumbing updated and repaired so that I can consider renting it out in the future. From the initial walk-through and estimate with David, coordination received from Misti and Jacky, and excellent plumbing work done by Luke and Colin, it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend them!Work performed with my notes interjected: 4 replacements of emergency shutoff valves to sinks, which were corroded beyond use, replaced the lav sink drain mechanism (pop-up) in the bathroom, which had broken and corroded off, replaced the cartridge in a single handle shower faucet, which was needed for regulating hot water and had stopped working properly, capped off the gas valve to the stove as I plan on looking into replacing that situation with an electric stove, replaced the fill valve and water supply line as well as flapper in the toilet tank, just to maintain the toilet with higher level parts and stopping a leaky valve, installed a new premium basket strainer on the kitchen sink as the previous one was extremely worn and unappealing to look at, installed a new premium all brass pressure reducing valve that maintains a safe operating water pressure as my house was previously running at 100 psi which is a no no and not to code, replaced/added a ProPress local shutoff valve to get the AC to not drip out back which has been attracting animals/bugs to the water run off, and also raised the existing toilet to fix the mounting hardware which had rotted off and replaced hardware below to stop a slow leak that was found as well.In my experience with them, Rooter Man folks know their work backwards and forwards and communicated as needed with me to make sure I understood the work they were doing and answered all my questions. They also had the ability to make existing things work that did not before through high level skill, thinking through the situation thoroughly and providing the best solution overall to a situation. Lastly, because Rooter Man work was done professionally and correctly I now have peace of mind knowing I wont have city issues when I turn to renting this house. When I have work to do in the future I will be hiring them and thanks to them for making it happen!

I had one of my water heaters burst in the attic late night. The team at Rooter-Man was able to come the house the next day and replace the unit. They worked carefully- avoiding any unnecessary mess and worked until the job was done. I had a second unit also replaced the same day - given they were both the same vintage. Price wise, I would say average, but the dedication of the team to address the issue promptly and get my home up to code was a big plus. I would use them again for any other issues in the future.
