They did a fantastic job on our HVAC replacement today! Price came out and did our estimate within an hour of us calling to inquire about a replacement and two days later we have a brand new system. Fast, affordable, and great customer service. Roy and Irving were our techs and they were very professional and explained everything about the new system to us. They honestly left everything cleaner than it was before. Highly recommend!!!

Had a great experience. They came and diagnosed my issue but found another issue as well. Joshua F the technician was amazing explaining and showing me the details. It was expensive so I had to think about it and then called them back. They came bright and early the next morning. And handled everything including dealing with the city water folks and finding a solution so the drywall in my garage had minimal issues. Very professional and thorough. Cleaned up and kept me apprised the whole time. Bravo.And Thank you!

Roy (Rogelio) was great. We had three separate issues of varying severity that we wanted some help with, and he addressed all of them that same morning. He gave us good advice regarding a water pressure probem that was out of his control so that we knew what to do next, and he didnt even charge us for one of the fixes (incorrectly installed washing machine). Definitely would recommend and will be using Stans again for any other issues we have in the future.

My installer was great. Very nice and efficient. He moved everything that was blocking my water heater and moved them back after he was finished. My only complaint was the wait for the new water heater. It took way too long -- two to three hours. I wish he I remember the guys name. I was very pleased with him. He deserved 5 stars. The company not so much.

Stans came through CLUTCH when literally every other shop in town said theyd fix my busted AC in a week or longer. Id seen them in my neighborhood quite a bit in the last year, so I figured to give them a try. I went from phone call to on-site repair in less than four hours, For significantly less than what I was being quoted by other establishments. My tech, Cody, didn’t take long to diagnose the issue and spent a grand total of 30 minutes on site. I could feel the second repairs were done, as cold air blowing in my living room for the first time in more than a day.Prompt? Check. Professional? Absolutely. Fairly priced? Surprisingly so, Especially considering how hot it’s been lately and how easy it would be to price based off of demand (Anybody remember the ice storm of 2021???).Give them a shot. You’ll be glad you did just like my family and I are. I will definitely be giving them a call in my next need, and give them my business going forward, over some of the bigger names with whom I had worked in the past.

I recently experienced significant water damage due to a ruptured pipe in my house. I hired Stans Plumbing to assist with home rebuilding project. Their service was great. I had a new water line installed from the city/street meter, kitchen and bathroom sink replaced and a full survey of all showers and other water outlets to ensure that there would not be any future issues. Stans crew was great. They were attentive to clean up and putting things back to the way they were before they arrived.I highly recommend Stans for plumbing service needs.

When looking for a reputable company, Stans had great reviews. And I agree! Their techs are friendly and knowledgeable. We had an issue during the summer and even though they were very busy, they came out that day to check our unit. I love their Gold service and have them come out twice a year to check our a/c and heater. So happy with their service.

Stans supplied and installed a Generac 26 KW standby home generator at my residence in the fall of 2023. I am pleased with the installation and the unit. The installation was done by a team which included a very qualified electrician who was experienced with wiring the generating unit into the home electrical system. He was also very knowledgeable about the generating unit itself and its operation. The team also included skilled installers and a plumber who coordinated well with the gas company, which was also very helpful and efficient. In the first year after the installation, we have not experienced a utility outage, fortunately. On Friday of every other week at 4:00 pm the unit automatically starts up and runs at idle for 5 minutes as a scheduled status check exercise. The installation has operated as expected in each of these test runs. Stans performed the annual maintenance check which was performed by Jeremy Rodriguez who was very pleasant, very professional and very knowledgeable of the unit. I recommend Stans.

I had an emergency water leak behind a wall on an outside faucet’s pipe. The call center was efficient. Stan’s plumber Gabriel showed up within 45 minutes, found the buried water shutoff valve at the curb and made the repair of cutting the copper pipe and installing a new faucet within 30-45 minutes. My only complaint would be the price of $700 (after 5 pm) seemed somewhat high, otherwise I would have rated them a 5 based on performance.

Our furnace stopped working and I woke up to a temp of 45 degrees this am. I called Stans and the person was very polite and friendly. Said they would send someone this afternoon. Cody came and had our furnace fixed in under an hour. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything and answered all my questions. I asked him if he would put up my new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors since I just recently had surgery on my eyes and wasnt going to be able to do it until after I healed and without a hesitation he did it for me. I will ask for Cody every time I have a problem with any future work to be done. This is the third time we have used Stans and have always been pleased.

I bought a new home and discovered my master bath shower wasn’t draining well. Kaleb came out within 2 hrs of my call and found plastic construction debris in the drain which he removed quickly. He cleaned up the shower pan and thanked me for allowing him to provide service to my new home. Very professional, effective and efficient. Did not try to up sell anything but offered me information on a system to deal with calcium deposits that the neighborhood is known for based on a different company I had put to look at my dishwasher. I was the person who brought that up and not him but he offered a solution that might work for me. Left me information and left. No pressure. I couldn’t be happier with their service. I will definitely use them again if I need their services.

Just had Stans over for my semi-annual inspection. He showed up within the pre-determined time period. They always text when they are on the way which is very helpful. Ricardo A arrived, super professional and very easy on the eyes (never hurts!). You could tell he knew his job well and was super-efficient getting the AC inspection/cleaning completed with filter exchanged as well. I have had great experiences with Stans over the years with no complaints. Please send Ricardo back again! ;)

The technicians for Stans were on time, 8:00 am. They were professional, nice, easy to talk to. Answered my questions in lay mans terms and told me what I wanted to hear! They worked all day from 8 to almost 5:00, never complained, I could hear them singing, whistling and laughing during the day. Never a negative comment, so positive. Explained everything they were doing, told me items I could replace to help my system, reassured me when there was a slight problem with the electricity. Walked me thru the new thermostat, and explained how to ease my new system in the cooling off stages of the house. They were sweating, the house was at 96 degrees inside, never complained. Excellent service and we will use Stans again!!

After years of patching my old upstairs central air unit I decided to upgrade and selected Stans for the service. Brandon and Nathaniel, the technicians, showed up 30 minutes early and replaced the A/C , furnace and outdoor compressor unit over the next several hours. They also added another two vents and returns to improve air flow and lower operating costs. Im super-pleased with the work. Installation was in a tight space but they managed to install it text-book perfect as the attached image shows. After installation Brandon walked me through using the new Ecobee thermostat and gave tips on quarterly maintenance to keep it running smoothly. This is the third time Ive called on Stans in 10 years and they have been consistently professional and reliable every time. They also installed my downstairs unit over seven years ago and it has operated flawlessly.

I have had Stans come out several times to help both my clients and myself. Each time they have given a no nonsense, affordable solution to the problem. In two circumstances, they were a second opinion. In each of those situations, the other companies recommended a full replacement of the system (they were both less than 4 years old). Stans came in and fixed a few parts costing each client less than $1000 in repairs. For my personal home, I was able to make an appointment after 7 pm for a broken capacitor and had a tech out the next morning with the repair being done in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Stans and, more specifically, Felix.

I needed to have my 30 year old HVAC unit replaced because the compressor was failing. Kevin came out on Friday. He checked out the outside unit, inside unit and even got on a ladder to check the duct work and insulation. He discussed and pointed out my various options and explained and answered my questions quickly, knowledgeably and professionally. He got everything set up for a new unit to be replaced on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning Sam and Andrew came out early Saturday morning and had the new unit inside and outside set up and ready to go in about 4 1/2 hours. They were professional and courteous. They went over the final checklist and made sure to answer my questions and explained everything fully and thoroughly. The old unit was hauled away and they made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Overall the experience was exceptional, especially since I had a lot of anxiety over figuring out and making such a large purchase on my own.

Everything was good and he gave me the inspection report, warranty information and the certificate needed when our taxes are filed. Please with the service provided by Stans.August-2024We had the AC maintenance check today and the tech Pablo Benitez was great. He checked out the system and suggested cleaning the coils to maintain the performance of the AC. Highly recommend Stans for HVAC service.January 2024We have the Gold Service Club service and twice a year Stans checks either the AC or Heating systems.The tech, Hugo Martinez, arrived within the designated time, checked the heating system today. He was very professional and answered all questions I had.We have had a very good experience with Stans and have recommended them to others.

After trying to contact the HVAC companies I have used in the past with no luck, Stan’s was able to come the same day and the technician arrived within 2 hours. Other companies are unavailable on nights and weekends, but Stan’s fit me in right away. Chris, my technician, was able to diagnose the issue right away and fixed it quickly. I had to purchase a new AC unit back in August, 2015, and have been a loyal customer of Austin Star Heating and Air (the installer) since that time...being thoroughly satisfied with the service they provided me. I was recently informed that Austin Star no longer conducts general maintenance checks on residential AC/HVAC units. Jon, the owner of Austin Star, recommended Stans to me, and I decided to take a chance on this company. Goodness, Im so glad I did.Surprise #1: I called Stans on Tuesday morning, September 3rd, to schedule my first appointment...and had one made for me for today, September 4th...between 9am and 1pm. That was less than 24 hours from my initial call.Surprise #2: I received a text message right at 8am this morning...alerting me that my tech, Christian Lumbreras, was on his way. Five minutes later, my doorbell rang...Christian had arrived.Surprise #3: The interaction I received from Christian was not that of a service tech with a customer. My A/C went out around 10:30pm on July 3rd, the day before a pretty hot holiday. I think we all know you dont want to exist in the Texas summer without an A/C. I called a bunch of after-hours emergency A/C repair numbers. Each one of them went to a call center and each one told me they would have a technician call back within 15-30 minutes. Hours went by, multiple calls were made, and I eventually realized that most of them were just lying; they simply had no technicians available and were just intent to make me wait until it was convenient a few days later. So much for emergency repair work.Stans was the one place that called me back. It was already 2am before I finally called them; their technician named Chris called me back within 20 minutes. I explained the problem and he said that hed be there in less than 30 minutes. He showed up, was super friendly, took a look at everything, and was able to fix the problem within an hour. The total bill was only $89.00 - the standard fee for an emergency, after-hours call.Ive saved them to my contacts for all things related to my house repairs and will gladly give them any business related to my HVAC system in the future. I really couldnt recommend these guys more. They were friendly, honest, affordable, quick-to-respond, and truly helped me at a pretty desperate time.

My AC was acting funky on a Saturday morning and decided that turning off the AC help, so we did that for about 5 or so hours and turned it back on and it was blowing air, but it was warm, so we decided to call Stans Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical around 4PM. The lady on the phone was so lovely and kind and said she could have someone out same day between the hours of 4:30-11PM. We were SOOOO happy because the previous place we called stated that they could not have someone out until Thursday (meanwhile it is 100+ degrees outside and will be for the foreseeable future). Surely enough, I received a phone call from Hermann Baggett around 6:30 and he swung by around 6:40 and was probably gone by 7:05/10. He diagnosed and fixed the problem and even helped me figure out my air filter situation. He was so kind and quick and next thing I know my AC is blowing cold air and all is right with the world! I would 100% recommend Stans to anyone experiencing heating, AC, plumbing or electrical issues. They are fast, effective and not terribly expensive!!!

08/2023: We had our air-conditioning systems put in by Strand Brothers 20 years ago, with the promise of a 16-year lifespan. When the upstairs one finally failed in the heat of the summer this year, we called Stans Heating, Air & Plumbing (where Strand Brothers had moved). They were great 20 years ago, and they were great this year! Each person involved -- the expert who diagnosed the problem, the salesman who drew up our new contract, and the technicians who put the system in -- came exactly when they said they would. The system was replaced promptly and efficiently. It is a high-quality system and works great! I definitely recommend Stans Heating, Air & Plumbing to anyone needing HVAC work! **Addendum 02/2024: We loved our upstairs HVAC system that Stans put in so much that we decided to go ahead and have the downstairs system put in this winter. He called the morning of our appointment to let us know when he would arrive and was very timely. Once he arrived, Pablo was sure to be respectful of our house as he came and went back to his truck, as necessary, for the job. Furthermore, Pablo made some recommendations for minor maintenance we could do on our own to ensure the system lasts as long as possible, recommended a few habits to keep our running costs low, informed us of the warranties we have available based on our system and when it was installed, and set us up on the Gold Service Club HVAC plan for continued great service going forward. This was my first time using Stans (I had used others before) - I had signed up for the Gold Membership Club, so I got my annual cooling system check-up on one of my furnaces in the house (there are 2). The tech (Brandon) informed me with a live call as to his ETA, he was already prepared to wear covers over his shoes, he came with all his check-up equipment so it was very efficient and he wasnt going in and out of the house. He gave me very informational play-by-play of what he was doing with the measurements/gauges/tools he was using, what my numbers were and what normal ranges were. He also said my unit was in pretty good condition, and patched up some minor issues (duct tape replacement, etc). I asked a couple of questions just to confirm my regular maintenance routine on the furnace as a homeowner (clearing drain line, filters, etc). He welcomed all my questions and made sure I had a chance to ask everything! He also cleaned my condenser box outside and again, told me what he was doing, why he was doing it and suggested ways I could help maintain it during the year to prolong its life.All in all, I appreciated the comprehensive approach - I thought this was going to just be a quick look-see at the furnace but this was very comprehensive and I feel good knowing Stans is taking care of my HVAC equipment!! Brandon was courteous, efficient, experienced.

He was very thorough, professional and efficient. He found we did need some refrigerant and a capacitor. He did not have the capacitor on his truck but put in a work order for another technician to replace it the following day. We received notification the next day a technician would be back between 2-8 to replace the capacitor.At about 8:45 we thought they were not coming but when I went out to bring our trash bins in from the curb, Samuel pulled up. He said he knew we need the capacitor and wanted to make sure it was installed.He quickly installed the capacitor and was on his way. That is customer service! I had an opportunity to meet another Stans service person. A faucet leak necessitated a call to the plumbing department. I am so pleased that every service person I have had in my home from Stans continues to be exceedingly professional. The extra effort to find the required parts was appreciated. So impressed I subscribed to the yearly service for plumbing. They are that 👍 good.Two years later- still impressed. Our water heater failed and was leaking into the garage on the Sunday before 4th of July and Stans Plumbing sent Joshua out within an hour of our call. Josh got a replacement water heater installed within a couple of hours! Not only that, but he was one of the nicest, most friendly, professional technicians weve interacted with in years, despite the temperature being so brutal. The experience definitely exceeded our expectations by a wide margin!

I called Stans to help me with a no hot water issue. They were able to fit me in same day and the technician, Joshua Foxworth, called to say he could come earlier since his prior appointments went faster than planned. He was very knowledgeable and walked me through his diagnosis and repair. It ended up being a quick fix and when I mentioned a couple of other plumbing-related items I needed help with, rather than have me schedule a separate appointment, he made the time right then and there for the additional work. He did not aggressively try and upsell me. He found the most economical solution that addressed my needs. I would definitely call Stans (and Joshua) again for any plumbing work.

Stans was amazing! We found a gas leak in our home and called Stans. The lady who took my call and scheduled the technician was so helpful, he was out to my house within an hour. The technician Gabriel was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He evaluated what needed to be done, communicated everything so I could make an informed decision and the pricing was fair for the amount of work he had to do. From start to finish everyone I interacted with at Stans made me feel they cared about my situation and needs and were happy to help. I HIGHLY recommend Stans to anyone needing service or maintenance on their home! I signed up for their plumbing maintenance plan which gave me a discount on these repairs and includes flushing my water heater and performing a safety inspection. This company is thorough, honest and a joy to work with.

Technician Cody Clark provided expert support for our A/C issue when our secondary drain line was dripping from our homes exterior. He came prepared by studying notes in our file from past issues and was very knowledgeable about the entire system. He not only corrected the primary issue, but he also discovered some additional issues unique to our home that he educated me on and fixed as part of the comprehensive service. It was clear Cody has pride in his work and is not just there to get in and out to move onto the next one. He looked into getting it done same day but when that wasn’t possible he had me scheduled for the next morning. Mowing that I don’t like going in the attic, Chris went back up to get the manual for me. I was very happy with my service and the two gentleman that worked on my water heater. Jeremy ( the electrician) came out to repair a breaker that kept shorting out. Very nice guy. Explained everything to me and though he didnt have the part with him, he went to get the part, came back shortly and fixed the problem. The rates were reasonable though I wish Stans would subtract their service call charge from the overall bill total like many electrician companies do.

Our 14 year old unit stopped cooling properly (coil freezing up) which is a symptom on low coolant level. Stans got someone out the same day I called with temperatures expected to be 100+ the next several days. Technician Pablo was at my house when he said he would be after calling to give me a heads up he was coming. He listened to my explanations of the problem we were experiencing and then checked the unit outside before going up in the attic to check inside. I asked him to show me where the drain opening was located since I knew that can get clogged up causing a sensor to stop the unit. He checked the temperature at different locations for the system and then told me what he thought the problem was by first explaining he had done a similar service call at another condo unit down the street from me with the same unit and same house set up. He convinced me what the problem was and then went back outside to top off the low coolant level. He said he would put in what he found and think is the problem with the other group at Stans that would notify me what it would cost to fix the problem.Pablos visit was quick and efficient and very courteous. Ive used Stans for all 14 years weve lived here and I will continue to do so because I trust them and appreciate their service minded approach to keep me happy.I recently had an emergency call since my unit was not cooling properly. I already had a routine service call scheduled in about a week, but my wife and I were suffering at night from the unit not cooling properly. In any event they got a technician scheduled and he was here at 9:30 in the evening fixing my problem. He was friendly and efficient and promptly got us back to being cool again.They went ahead and did my regular service call also and that technician was also very friendly and efficient. He found a problem with a low operating capacitor affecting the cooling fan operation and was able to replace it.I like Stans, they always do good work and arrive on time. I highly recommend using their service.

We received excellent service on two simultaneous jobs -- an HVAC check that abruptly coincided with a water heater failure -- from Joshua Foxworth (on the water heater) and Pablo Benitez (on the HVAC compressor). We had scheduled the HVAC service (an unidentified noise from the outdoor unit) for Tuesday when (Monday night) the water heater failed. The HVAC repair turned out to be minor but necessary. The water heater repair needed all day, expanded to an attic vent and a meter replacement, and clearly exhausted the 3-person team, but they got it done.Only question is why, as we have an HVAC service contract, the $89 call charge was not folded into the HVAC repair (as it was for the water heater repairs. When I asked the office, I was simply told, Thats different. Indeed. Not sure what the service contract covers, in that case. Overall, excellent service.
