A representative named Marlene went far beyond our expectations. Typically, when we request services, we have to be scheduled at least a day or two in advance. However, Marlene put us on a brief hold, made a quick phone call, and ensured that we were accommodated within a few hours. This is what I call top-notch customer service! Its incredibly refreshing to encounter people who truly care about their customers. A plumber named Billy arrived for the installation and was exceedingly friendly, professional, and efficient. The entire process, from removing our old tank (which they kindly disposed of) to installing the new tank-less system, took less than three hours. We wholeheartedly recommend their plumbing services and were happy to say that theyve gained two loyal customers for life.

I received a quote to swap out two shower cartridges from my regular plumbing service but found it quite steep, so I decided to explore other options. I came across this plumbing service with stellar reviews, so I decided to request a quote. Miguel was the one who came over to give me a rough estimate. He mentioned that he might have to travel to get the cartridges, which could affect the final price, or they could order the parts and reschedule. I asked him to proceed since he was already there. He returned in about 30 minutes. Miguel had both cartridges replaced and the job done within an hour of his return. He informed me that the labor cost would cover 2 hours, which I found quite reasonable given he had to travel to get the cartridges. I received the bill via email and was pleasantly surprised. It was significantly lower than the estimate from my regular plumber! Whenever I spoke with Billy, he was consistently cheerful and friendly. Billy did a fantastic job. He carried out a thorough inspection of the toilet and sink. He took the time to explain the process and the reasons behind each step. After the assessment, he clarified why the toilet seemed blocked and what the actual problem was. A new toilet was required, and Billy meticulously measured to ensure the right one would be ordered for my convenience. That was greatly appreciated. He then reiterated everything, including the costs, and was very prompt in responding to all my queries. Im extremely grateful for his diligence and kindness. Billy then proceeded to remove the old heaters and put in new ones. Following this, he explained the appropriate method to flush them every six months. It was clear that Billy took immense pride in his work. Both Miguel and Billy were amiable, well-informed, and outstanding at their work. Billy and Miguel from a plumbing service did an excellent job unclogging a stubborn blockage in our bathtub. Initially, we tried a different service, but they quickly gave up after a single attempt with a plumbing snake. They wanted to fix the problem by going into the wall, which would have been incredibly expensive. However, Billy and Miguel quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem in our bathtub. Now, the drainage system works even better than when we first moved in. They also took care of the water pressure in our kitchen sink. In the past, Miguel serviced our apartments radiators, which used to make a lot of noise and werent very efficient. Now, theyre working smoothly and evenly. Another commendable thing about their service is their adherence to safety protocols. Both times they serviced our home, they wore masks and maintained social distancing, which we greatly appreciated. Id highly recommend their plumbing services. Mendez family plumbing & electrical was upfront about their pricing before setting up the appointment. the first plumber, miguel, was nice and professional, but couldnt fix the thermostat problem on our water heater. we scheduled another appointment and this time billy came. he was also professional and clearly had the know-how to figure out what needed fixing. billy fixed the issue expertly. the fee for the initial house call was used towards the second visit and the repair, which seemed fair and kept the cost affordable. we plan to call on them for our plumbing needs in austin moving forward.

After dealing with two leaks in my house last year, I made the decision to replace the polybutylene pipes. The thought of another leak was scarier than the potential mess and expense of the re-piping job. I started my search and got an estimate of $15,000 from a large plumbing company. They also told me I wouldnt need a permit, which I knew wasnt right. I wanted an inspection, and I also knew Id need to hire someone to repair the drywall afterwards, adding to the cost. My search continued until I found Mendez Family Plumbing & Electrical. The office manager, miguel, gave me an estimate of $9,000 after seeing pictures of my house online, since I had only moved in recently. They came to inspect and provided a quote for re-piping and drywall repair, including permits, for under $10,000. The re-piping took 4 days and the drywall repair took another 4 days. Billy, the plumber, is an expert in replacing polybutylene pipes, having done thousands of such jobs since the class action lawsuit years ago. I was worried the drywall wouldnt look perfect after the repair, but I cant even tell where the holes were. billy is a master at drywall repair. Miguel and Billy from an unknown plumber service truly saved our day. We were dealing with a gas leak issue in our crawl space caused by two pipes. Because of this, our gas had to be shut off and another plumbing service quoted us a price that was more than double what we ended up paying with the unnamed plumbing service. Not only that, the previous plumbers wanted to create a large opening in our wall and just patch up our existing pipes. However, when Miguel and Billy arrived, they replaced all the pipes, joints, and a furnace switch, and managed to complete the task without making a large hole in the wall. Billy was fantastic and guided us through the entire process. I cant recommend these plumbers enough for their top-notch work and honesty!

I noticed water leaking from the base of my toilet and decided to contact Billy for assistance. Even though I didnt initially see it as urgent, Billy promptly arranged a schedule to tackle the issue, an act that I greatly appreciated. Upon inspection, it turned out the problem was more severe than anticipated; a large crack was present in the tank. Billy gave me the choice of procuring a new toilet myself or letting him do it. He was very accommodating and willing to invest additional time to obtain the suitable toilet. Billy was swift and had everything sorted out in no time. He also ensured that I was aware of monitoring the water valve and encouraged me to reach out if any issues arose. Im incredibly happy that I didnt cancel! Within a short span, Billy, the plumber, arrived at my home. I briefed him about my ongoing issue for over two months, a blocked sewer drain. I had previously enlisted the help of two highly-rated plumbing services, but they only provided temporary relief. Luckily, the first plumber didnt charge anything, but the second one cost me a hefty $2500.00 for three separate visits (snaking, camera inspection, jetting, and pressure water). Billy got to work, ran the snake twice, once extending beyond the middle of the street and once towards the rear of my house. Im overjoyed to report that its been nearly three weeks, and the drain is no longer blocked; everything is flowing smoothly.
