    The two men who came to my house, with the idea of cleaning the ducts and dryer vent, were very impressive. They were polite, and best of all, honest! They reported my ducts looked like they had been cleaned recently, probably right before we bought the house. They did not need to clean them! The dryer duct had a few problems, but they cleaned the duct and cleaned up after themselves.I heartedly recommend Service HQ.

    This company is stellar for their fast response to a call for help. Gage was kind, polite and very easy to work with. He explained everything. No one likes it when their AC unit goes out but he made it a little easier to deal with. He and his partner Doug had my unit repaired, serviced, and up and running in short time. Highly recommend Service HQ for your AC/Heater repairs.

    Never a great time to have an AC go out, but Casey took care of us and made sure that both my wife and I, and our 4 month old had floor AC units in our rooms until they could get to us. Kian and Doug were very professional installers and had great patience with all of my questions about our new equipment. They described everything to me in great detail so I feel very confident with the install. Thumbs up guys!

    Gage responded to a trouble call for our clogged AC condensation line. He very quickly assessed the issue and corrective action. Issue was promptly resolved. I, out of ignorance, also asked him to do some extra maintenance tasks and, instead of doing completely unnecessary (and costly) checks he patiently explained why they were not required with my system. Its nice to have a Master tech who is very technically proficient AND completely honest. Highly recommended!

    Air conditioning problem was quickly fixed!Great job performed by Steve S. knowledgable, polite, great work ethics!Initial issue was identified by other company where fan motor needed to be replaced ($1700) and no guarantees that it would work. Plus it would take them 5-7 days get the motor…Steve S. went beyond his duty and was able correctly identify the problem… Control board ($500) was defective….Steve S. replaced defective part and checked all other system related components…checked freon, cleaned outside unit and replaced filter. Couldn’t be more happy with job results. Thank you! Very satisfied client!

    Very satisfied.My 3rd time using Service HQ (I think Fahnestock now owns them now so kinda confusing calling Service HQ and Fahnestock answers or vice versa. I think they should change it to Service HD by Fahnestock and put their logos along with that company.This service call was to clean inside coils that was found on scheduled summer HCAV inspection and cleaning last week.Tech was on time (actually early), professional appearance and put booties on his shoes when entering.Upon completion of cleaning I was thoroughly briefed on any mechanical problems that were found...even had pics so I could see and found that the coils were covered in debri and dog hair from the previous owner. I dont think the previous owner ever had them cleaned. They had 2 big dogs and a lot of hair.After cleaning the coils were spotless and tech wanted to make sure I saw how much debri and hair that was removed.I am signed up with a bi annual maintenance plan which is a great price $199. Discounts on service calls and parts labor. Coil cleaning charge $255 was under what other companies were charging (295- to $375).

    Can’t say enough about this experience. They’re honestly; they knew what they were competing against and were up front with strengths and weaknesses. As we compared the systems the value tipped us to HQ. I hope and trust that with the contract maintenance we will get a full service live from these units. The installers were amazing.     Had an issue with a clog in our kitchen sink sewer line. They were able to get out quickly, and solved the issue within 30 minutes. Friendly, professional technicians, did a great job!Part 2 - we had Seth and his team come out to install a sewer clean out. They did another awesome job and went the extra mile to do it right! Highly recommend!Part 3 🙂 had Gage and team out to prepare our furnace for the winter. Great work and also signed up for their maintenance plan.

    Our old heating system quit. The company that installed it no longer services their equipment so we called Service HQ. They came out within a couple of hours, showed us exactly what was wrong, and gave us plenty of information to make a decision on how to move forward.The technicians that came out to do the work were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and got the job done in a timely manner. In fact they were done much quicker than we expected.We would definitely recommend this business to friends and family.

    Very good communication. Serviceman was very knowledgeable, efficient. No wasting of time got straight on the job. Is very nice to be able to rely on a company to come out and on a freezing day, literally!! Still with a smile he is the most pleasant person, the receptionist was wonderful too! they have great communication and kept contact with us to let us know exactly when the serviceman would arrive if you want a good air conditioning heating company this is the one for you!

    No one wants to deal with heating or AC issues and no one wants to have to replace their system - especially right before the holidays, but Service HQ made it a painless process.They have top notch communication with texts that include a photo of the person coming to your home - a stellar safety factor! And calls from the techs when they are heading to you home.Juan came out and diagnosed the issue and went over all our options so we could make the best decision for our situation. No hard sales!Michael was incredibly friendly and professional when he came to do the install.     My parents used this business, here is what my Dad had to say. They called prior to arrival, 15 minutes, they even showed up ahead of schedule which was much appreciated. They introduced their team and then they got right to work. They worked very hard and all day long. They were very considerate of their surroundings, covering all surfaces they could potentially come in contact with due to being inside, outside, in the attic and under the house. They were very congenial and continued to update him throughout the day with the progress being made and what work still needed to be done. They finished the installation, cleaned up after themselves. They took the time to answer his questions and did a through talk through of the new equipment. They had complete customer satisfaction and would highly recommend them!!! The salesman that originally made contact at my parents request even came by to check on the progress in the middle of the day. My Dad felt like this was OUTSTANDING service.

    Chris in the office has great customer service. She was very polite, professional and was able to get me scheduled for service in a reasonable amount of time. Jr and Gage are fantastic. They worked as a team and extra hard to get my floor furnace repaired on top of being very thorough. I highly recommend Service HQ. Did I mention friendly? Really nice people!

    Service HQ came to my rescue! I was without heat on 2 floors of my home for 19 days. Old system went down December 23, 2022. The windchill at night was -19. I called numerous companies trying to get repairs. I finally gave up and decided to buy new. I ended up calling Service HQ. Wow! I talked with Casey Belknap. I told him my situation and asked when he could come and give me and estimate. He replied as soon as I got off the phone he would be on his way. He arrived as promised. Excellent offer on new units! Casey said the 3 new HVAC units would be installed the first of the week. (This was a Friday afternoon) Again, Service HQ kept their word.Outstanding workers! All of the men were professional and very well mannered. The men covered the carpets and kept all areas clean.I couldn’t have asked for better service! Highly Recommended!Thank You service HQ!     Michael (Jr.) and Evan of McKay’s Heating & Cooling installed a new Trane Air Conditioning & Heating unit today. I could not be more pleased. They were very professional, pleasant and well-mannered young men! They worked steadily all day and cleaned everything up nicely before leaving. When my old air conditioner quit last week, Michael (Regular) came to fix it and gave me my options on what I could do, as my old unit was OLD! He arranged to bring me a portable AC unit until they could fix mine. Jeff brought it out the next day, hooked it up and made sure it was working correctly. Both gentlemen were very nice and professional! I wasn’t even charged for the use of the portable unit!!If you are looking for the “real deal”, this company is IT!! Whenever I have needed maintenance in the past, they have always been able to help me the same day. I’m glad to be able to count on them for my air conditioning and heating maintenance!!

    Very professional and answered any and all questions asked. The other gentleman I believe was whom the called pepper also very knowledgeable and professional. I believe the first day I met with a Mike who had discussed and sold us our Trane system was friendly and also very professional.     Very impressed with Service HQ! I’m a senior citizen on a fixed income and they said they’d work with me on the bill. I had called 3 other outfits prior to Service HQ, and they all said that basically they didn’t care, and needed payment at time of service. I was very impressed with Anthony, his professionalism, and willingness to answer my dumb questions, LOL! I would definitely recommend them to everyone! And if I ever need service on my heat/air conditioning unit again, I’ll definitely be calling them!

    Amazing guys to work with! Honest, hard working, get the job done right the first time! Maintenance is outstanding and prices are very reasonable! I do home management at a local ranch and have almost 20 units that they maintain for us. They are great to try to keep the older ones up and running as long as possible and very reasonable and efficient when they need to replace a unit. They are also quick to send someone if you are in a pinch! I highly recommend them on a professional and personal level! The yearly service agreement is worth every penny! I have worked with two other local companies but these guys blew them out of the water on cost and service! Thank you McKays for taking such good care of not just my family but the entire ranch!

    We were having problems with our heat pump not working and placed a service call. We scheduled an appointment and they sent Gage VanArsdale out to perform the repairs. He arrived promptly and worked on the unit and had to order parts but got it running temporarily. After the parts were in he came back out and made the final repairs. Gage is a very pleasant young man and did a great job of getting our unit up and running. I highly recommend doing business with this company and will be utilizing them for future maintenance and repairs as needed.     I have used Kelly McKays service for a number of years and have never been disappointed in the responsiveness, expertise and willingness to work with you to get equipment back in running condition. I find them honest and reliable in every way. On the most recent occasion, I needed help when our furnace quit working at night when temperatures were going to be in the teens. I was able to contact a technician at 2:00 AM and get my furnace back in operation. Their expertise and response time is excellent.

    This is a very good and honest company to do business with. The technician that worked on our AC was very polite and nice. He knows what hes doing and asked us first before adding coolant to our unit. He explained to us what our options were in detail.     We bought our A/C and heating unit from McKays years ago when we bought our 100 year old farmhouse. Every year we have had them service the unit we bought from them, and have never had any problems.     They were very, very helpful and accommodating on a late Sunday afternoon. That was extremely hot. Their guy, Gage, went out of his way to show me what was going on and why certain things were not working. Very quick turnaround.     Mike came out to inspect my furnace with limited information as I do not know much about them. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and get it resolved. I really liked that he wasn’t forceful towards me to buy things I didn’t need and he gave great incite as to proper maintenance (which I will be calling them to come do annually!). I would absolutely recommend and will be using this service in the future!

    I want to say a big Thank You to Troy, Seth and the folks at Service HQ. They went to crazy lengths to unclog our kitchen sink. Unfortunately, they had to come out multiple times to get the job completely done. But, the thing is they persisted. They werent put out. They didnt complain. They just go the job done! And for that I heartily commend and recommend Service HQ. And... they went through our home warranty company and our cost was absolutely minimal. That always helps! Thanks again Troy and Seth.

    I was notified when the Tech (Juan) would be arriving, and he was right on time. Juan was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly figured out the problem, repaired it , checked out the operation of the system and made some suggestions about some parts that were currently working but may be getting close to failing due to the age of my system. Because of the savings on parts and service calls, I went ahead and purchased the annual service contract. This is my 3rd or 4th time using Service HQ and have always been pleased with their work. They may not be be the cheapest in town, but the quality of service and peace of mind is worth it.

    I contacted Service HQ on behalf of my elderly parents, requested a quote and received a reply within a minute. They contacted my parents and scheduled a time to come out and assess their situation the very same day. I was beyond impressed with the professionalism and courtesy my parents and I received. Less than 24 hours from my initial online quote request the guys were hard at work replacing the ac unit and furnace in my parents home.I can’t express enough how impressed I am with the professionalism, the conscientiousness, the integrity of these guys and of this company. They have given us more then a quality updated unit...they have given us peace of mind. My mom can’t stop talking about how happy she is with it all and that makes me so very grateful.     My old heat and air unit was 21 years old and was past being on its last leg, it’d quit! They came out and removed the old units and replaced them with new more energy efficient units. In the space of 8 hours, they had the new unit up and running! My family is super happy to have air conditioning again! Very pleased with the professionalism of the guys that came out, and I was impressed with their work! I highly recommend them!

    Came to our cabin at Fall River and no AC in 97degree heat. Michael came after hours and got us set right up. So thankful you guys were able to come out and take care of us5.22.19 We recently h ad them out again to quote us on a replacement Heating and Air system. We were extremely happy as our job was large requiring a 5 ton unit. It took 3 days and the guys were extremely nice, courteous of our house. Its nice to have proper working air again.We received a quote from others but it was just replacing a unit that was 3 ton, and not upgrading to accommodate for the large amount of space needed. We greatly appreciate them letting us know what would be adequate.12.16.19 Seth came out to fix a clogged drain in our tub last week and he was unable to get it. Pretty sure the kids had a toy down there! LOLHe came back the following monday and was able to get us a new drain put in that works great and we finally have a clear drain!!! Thanks so much for the quick and efficient service!!! Always recommend these guys!

    I had been using a hobbled together furnace and air conditioning unit for years, finally reached a point where I needed to replace them both. I called several different companies for estimates. The estimate I received from McKays was not the least expensive, but it was the most thorough and provided, for me, several options along with detailed information about those options.I chose McKays, and had my new furnace and air conditioning unit installed last October. I experienced an immediate improvement in my comfort. They did an excellent job. They came back in the spring and just recently to service both units. Excellent, polite and professional people performed the service both times.I am writing this review because, having been on average billing for many years, I am just now seeing the return on my bills. It takes a lot of savings to bring an average bill down by $20 and my bills are down by more than that amount. I look forward to seeing even more reduction in my bills over the next year.Thank you, McKays!!

    We had service HQ come out and check out our heating and cooling unit and mike was great. He checked everything out and let us know what was needing fixed now and what may need some attention later. He explained everything so we could understand and enjoyed his company. I would recommend him and there company to anyone. I got on there maintenance program so the can come back in the spring and stay on top of everything for us.     We initially called Service HQ for a 2nd opinion on replacing our AC. Not only did they send someone out the same day, our new unit was installed the next day. They beat out a large Wichita based company with a higher grade unit at a lower cost (same brand). Michael & his assistant were professional, kept an incredibly clean work area & were very friendly. We are out of Service HQ’s typical service area, but as long as they’ll keep driving to us, I will 100% continue to use their services.

All together a very positive experience. When I heard there was a freeze warning, I was afraid my faucet had froze....when I checked they had disconnected the hose and put it back.     On 7/9/21 I was so excited to get my new Trane heating, air and ducts cleaned. The reason I give it 2 stars in the beginning is because mainly the duct cleaning although the heating and air is superb Minus the fact the intake pipe was disconnected after they were done and the thermostat still not working right out of the box still waiting on a thermostat to come in.Update 7/20/21 I am extremely satisfied and they have came through and fixed everything that was wrong no questions asked! I absolutely love the new heating and air! They are a man of their word and I will definitely keep using them as I have in the years past! They fixed the thermostat, duct cleaning, and the pipe that was disconnected.Thanks guys and keep up the awesome customer service!     Phil did an awesome job fixing our AC unit. Our unit wasn’t completely cooling the house for some reason. He looked at every possible cause and found the solution.     Appt was originally scheduled for 1230-1 was able to come out several hours before to answer questions about a heater in my shop and give a quote for repair. Then asked to see our heater inside and was intrigued to look it over, while doing that noticed that our filter needed changed out and did so on the house. I felt that the visit was very personal and the tech was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done but also wasnt trying to sell me anything that wasnt needed. Will definitely be using them in the future and will be recommending them to anyone for their AC and heater needs.

    I have nothing but praise for their work. We made an appointment several days ago to remove an old heat pump and install a new one around 8 or 9am this morning. They called at 8:30am and said they were heading my way. They showed up, introduced themselves (Michael and Manny), laid down tarps on floor, looked at the inside and outside units and started to work. I asked for a part they didnt have with them and one went back to get it while the other worked on removing the old unit. They both worked very diligently and independently of each other. They shifted the inside unit a little to make it easier to change out the filter. They also moved the location of the new unit because of code violations where the old unit was located. We discussed where the unit should be located before they installed it. Around 3pm they had both units installed and showed me how to operate the thermostat (very easy) and change the filter. They then picked up their tools, tarps, and left the area as neat or neater than they found it. By 4pm they were off to another job. All and all I found their work very professional and they certainly knew what they were doing. I would recommend McKays Heating and Cooling to anyone and will use them again should the need arise.

    Below is my initial review for ServiceHQ. Unfortunately, and not because anyone did anything wrong, we wound up having to call back twice for service! The first time we called back around 4 in the afternoon. We had a service tech arrive around 7:30 that evening. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was super nice and just expressed how happy he was to get us back running again. The second time we called was just a few days later. Again, nobody’s fault that the unit quit working. We called around 2 in the afternoon and the tech was there, and had fixed the unit, by 4:30. One of the techs names was Jared. I don’t know the other name, but their fast and friendly service was impressive. I appreciate ServiceHQ.I’m so disappointed. We originally utilized this company for plumbing service. They were great!! So great that I felt comfortable recommending them to a friend for A/C service. She wound up buying a whole new unit from them! Unfortunately, my A/C service story was terrible.First....my house is covered by a home warranty. When I called the company to make the appointment, Carly advised me that the warranty company was sending them too many requests and they were booking at least a week out (I suspect that non warranty folks received service quicker). I accepted the appointment because there were not other options.The first repair guy was super nice. He advised that he wasn’t actually certified in A/C work but had learned on the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and indicated a part would need to be ordered and would take 2-4days to receive but that he would return as soon as it was in.That was Tuesday. On Friday, I called to ask if the part was in. Carly advised it was and she was looking to schedule me the following Tuesday (2 weeks since the A/C quit working). I advised that we couldn’t wait and asked for a sooner appointment. I was offered Monday morning (1day earlier) and accepted.Today, at 1130 I called to make sure we were still on the schedule. Carly advised my appointment had been moved to the afternoon (I had no communication of this change until I called) because they had a technician call in sick. No problem. We just wanted it fixed.The technician arrived and announced the warranty company had sent the wrong part and it would be few days before the right part was available. Problem....I have had this same warranty for years. They don’t order or send parts. My husband advised that the part was likely available at a local A/C store not too far from my home. The technician left without saying anything, but returned a short time later with the part and fixed the unit.It is unfortunate that a warranty claim doesn’t get the same attention to detail as other customers.

    Update from original review: After putting reviews for both Service HQ and my Home Warranty company magically they waived the trade call fee and the technician came back out and put a new thermostat in and everything has been working properly since.My home warranty sent them my way. Everything started out great. Technician was on time and very friendly. Got work completed on my furnace and put in a new thermostat. 33 days later the thermostat is not working properly and they won’t come back to fix it unless I pay another trade call fee to my HW company. I would not recommend since they won’t stand by the products they install or the work of the technician.

    My 30+ year old HVAC system was on its last leg and McKays did a great job keeping the ailing system alive keeping my family from suffering from Kansas Mid-Julys heat and humidity. They worked with a notorious home warranty company known for not approving requests for replacements and yes they secured approval for replacement. During this time my limping HVAC system was popping fuses, no worries though McKays came out and replace them allowing the system to keep gasping for yet another breath.Finally! Install day for the new system. Took them a good part of a working day to complete the install but when they finished left home to grab Supper only to return home to a MUCH cooler home. The system has been installed for a couple weeks now and Im very impressed with the system. My old system could never catch up to 77 degrees during the late afternoon into evening during the summer. The new system holds 75 degrees like a champ. I think even if the energy bill is the same it will be a win because 76 degrees is so much more comfortable than 80 degrees that I had to set the old system on to give it a fighting chance to catch up and not run 24/7. Professional company with very knowledgeable technicians that go out of their way to make sure their customers are satisfied. Will do my best to update with furnace review during the upcoming winter and any unexpected service needs. Im happy with McKays, I know you will too!

    Roughly three years ago my A/C was freezing up. I called McKays to look at it, my a/c unit was low and leaking, thus the freezing. There were no pushy sales tactics, (something Ive experienced with other companies). He explained all the available options and after reviewing all the options, I agreed to purchase a new a/c and heater. On the day of install, everything went as described.     McKays did an outstanding job for me when my air conditioner died a couple of weeks ago and my hot water heater also needed to be replaced urgently. They gave me an excellent price and were meticulous about the installation process. Several friends recommended McKays to me, and now I know why. Brad Harris came to my home to assess the situation, and he did a very thorough job of measuring every window and calculating the heat load for my home. Ive known for several years that I would need to get a new furnace and air conditioner at some point, and that time was now. Brad gave me several different estimates for replacement HVAC systems based on my needs and my budget. I got several other estimates from other HVAC companies, but Brad worked closely with me to make sure McKays would give me the best deal. I now have a highly efficient Trane air conditioner, Ameristar furnace and Bradford and White hot water heater that will all save me money on energy bills and also be a great selling point for my home if and when I decide to move. I give McKays my highest possible recommendation, and I hope McKays gives Brad Harris a pay raise, because he truly cares about giving customers the best products, prices, service and installation.

    I swung by my house after an appointment to discover my a/c had stopped working. I called 2 other places and received If not today, then definitely Monday and Probably after hours. I tried Service HQ and was told they could be here around 2:30pm. I was amazed and pleased. Phil called me 3 hrs before the scheduled time to say he was on the way. When he showed up, I told him the problem and he set to checking things out. He kept me informed as to what he was doing, which is something a lot of repairmen Ive encountered dont do. He had my a/c up and running in no time. Great experience.

    Very friendly, and polite. They explained what they were going to do when they came in the door, went to work on the furance replaced the part, checked that furance would work. They once again explained what they had done, showed me the part they replaced. Thank you for the great service. They returned on Wednesday and finished up with the furance and cleaned the ducting. They vacuumed up the mess on the floors after cleaning the ducts. My grandson calls them the good guys that about says it all. Thank you for the quick response. We are nice and cocy.

    Michael, Jr., and Evan spent all day at my house cleaning my ducts and doing the cleaning and checks on both hvac systems. These guys were super helpful, and friendly. I signed a 3 year Service agreement with them. Ive never done that before.

    First off, I wanted to thank everyone at McKays, I know your job isnt easy! The pride everyone takes in there job and seriousness means A LOT to me. I called Mckays out on a monday, my ac went out on a Sunday and didnt realize it until around 7pm, Mckays squeezed me into their schedule to make sure I was taken care of, that meant a lot to me. A wonderful guy named Tristan came out and fixed my issue but he took it a step beyond and was explaining everything to me so I got a good understanding. Even though he got my old unit running again, I decided to go ahead and order a new system, they got me into their 2 days later to come out and put it in! Wednesday came, Michael and his crew came out to install my furnace and a.c.. I honestly couldnt be happier with their work! 1 day of HARD work and I was all set up. Michael explained everything to me about all the tests they did and their work. Mckays crew members are so trusting, caring, and amazing people. My moms done business with them for years and my husband and I will be too. I trust nothing but Mckays! Theyll definitely take of you. Thank you so much for your great work Mckays!!!     Michael and Michael jr. did a fantastic job cleaning the air ducts in our home! They were very professional and kind. We got a great price and even had the dryer vent done as well. Glad we decided to do the dryer vent because they found a couple of kids train toys in the pipe that were causing a HUGE lint clog to build up.     A lightening strike took out our HVAC the end of August. When I called phone number on the unit or has been disconnected. I searched online and found McKays in my area. They came out the same afternoon I called and gave me a couple of options. They even provided a room air conditioner for us to use while the new unit was installed, which was so appreciated. We didnt have to move out or leave our animals.The installation was smooth,they prepped the afternoo, before and completed the installation by the afternoon. Three guys were on the job and they even alternated lunch breaks to get the job done quickly.We had a top of the line Trane put in. Interestingly the air in our house feels better. And we can run the air conditioner at a high temperature and still be as comfortable.Our previous unit had expensive 5 inch filters that were supposed to keep the dust down. When we built we thought we were getting a pretty dust free house. That did not prove to be true.We installed the Clean Effects filtration system and I ran a test to see how effective it was. I cleaned and dusted a lamp and end table and place a small box on it. So that when I lifted the box I could see the amount of dust collected.I left the box on the end table for 3 weeks before I could see dust when I picked up it up. Three weeks before needing to dust! Previously 3 days and there would have been that much dust on the table.My husband and I find the dust reduction amazing and are very happy with our new unit.

    Junior had my furnace trouble-shot within 15 minutes after arrival, a bad igniter. However he did not have the correct one in his truck. He did loan us a heater and said he would be back Monday. Unfortunately, he was sick along with the receptionist, so no one contacted me about my furnace. I called them on Tuesday and Juan came out about 2 hours later. He did have the correct igniter and cleaned the heater components,. put in a new filter and had the heater working as soon as he could. Juan and Junior did a great job.
