We had an emergency situation where we had to shut off water to our whole house at the end of the workday on New Years Eve with family staying over. James was incredibly knowledgeable over the phone and was able to walk us through the issue and understand what had happened. He gave us a quick solution and visited us that very evening (after work hours!) to get us through the night and the holidays with water.He returned the day after the holidays and got right back to fixing us back to normal. We are so grateful to James for providing us with fantastic and quick service, fair pricing we were happy with, explanations for the work being done, and thorough and honest workmanship. We HIGHLY recommend James and JJ Plumbing Y2K. We will certainly be calling him back if we have any other plumbing issues.

Exceptional skills Mr. James Joe (Owner of JJs Plumbing Y2K). He diligently navigated serial complex plumbing concerns for a residence est 1970. He masterfully explained why and how the assembly of the plumbing functioned. As well as going above and beyond to confirm seamless use after repairing the serial drainage piping system. Additionally he did an immaculate job to get a gas range water heater assembled and functioning, when others said it couldn’t be done. He’s an expert!! I tried to replace our kitchen sink faucet but since I couldn’t I called James who was out of town because of an emergency with his daughter. Even though he was under a lot of stress he still came out and replaced our faucet. He is very good and friendly.

I was SUPER pleased with JJ Plumbing today after they serviced my kitchen sink/dishwasher clog that extended into basement plumbing.From the time these gentlemen walked into my home they felt like family. Very friendly, considerate and GENUINE. This father/son duo worked efficiently together, clarified to me each step along the way, with thorough explanations and didnt play games with their fees. Quick, straight to the point, not an ounce of sketchiness, answered ALL of my inquiries and even took the time to straighten up behind themselves.I cant tell you how RELIEVED I was at how kind they were. My experience with JJ’s Plumbing work February 2024 is one I would recommend if you’re in need of plumbing work. James contacted me promptly before his agreed arrival time. He got right to work on changing out my well-worn kitchen faucet. We are very much pleased with our new faucet and the professional work this company did for us. Attached is the after pic, I wish I had taken a before.He and his employee worked very hard and efficiently. 11 out of 5 stars.JJs took my phone call, listened to what I needed, and gave me a price I was comfortable with. We set up a time, they came out on time, started, worked, and finished; any questions I had were answered, and the process was explained to me in easy to understand terms.Honestly, I cant ask for anything more. Im going to have them come back out to redo the piping for a new vanity, and would recommend them to anyone.

JJ is the best!!! He came out for what I thought was a water line issue (because the city is charging for more usage) and after spending an hour and a half troubleshooting was able to determine that there is no leak. He was very kind and generous as he did not charge me for his time. He could have easily tried to take advantage of the situation or just charge me for his time, but he didnt. I will definitely use him if I ever have a problem!!!

I needed my outside faucet repaired. The same day I called, they came and repaired the problem in no time. I love that the owner knows his craft. I explained what was going on, sent some pictures. Five stars easy. My 22 year old daughter had a plumbing catastrophe at her house so I got on Google and started reading reviews and read amazing things about Mr J. I called on a Saturday morning and Mr JJ called back very promptly. We discussed my need and although my matter was not urgent he still came out a couple of hours later as promised and repaired my toilet within 5 minutes of arriving. On top of that he was honest and fair with his pricing. If I had gone with any other plumbing service they would have charged me 2-3 times as much to do the job he had done. I had an excellent experience with JJs Plumbing yesterday. I called them from Raleigh to help with my parents home in Winston-Salem. I was very nervous because I could not be there. JJs honesty is apparent to the customer as he gives you an idea of what the issues may be before he arrives. He did not charge for the estimate which was important to me. He and Marcus arrived quickly and were so efficient that he was finished before I made my mail run to pay him! ONE DAY....EXCELLENT SERVICE.....GOOD feelings afterward. He was sooo professional yet kind just like family. He truly puts himself in your shoes and goes by the golden rule. If you need plumbing services, do give him a call. This is only the beginning for me.....I will use him until ALL issue are resolved.

I have dealt with JJ and his crew on a few different projects. I had a great experience and HIGHLY recommend them. Fair pricing. Quality work. JJ and his assistant were great! They came to repair our water heater. They both came in wearing mask and kept them on the whole time and wore shoe protectors as well. They explained everything clearly about possible problems and solutions and worked diligently to get the job done. They ran into several snags that held up progress, but they remained professional and courteous the entire time. The price was very affordable and they even stayed to make sure the water heater was working properly after the repairs were done. I will definitely call them again if I had future plumbing troubles! We used JJs Plumbing Y2K to replace our main water line leading up to the house. They beat everyone elses price and the work was delivered as promised. They are honest and hard working! It is such a relief to have that major leak resolved and to now know of a 1. HONEST and 2. AFFORDABLE plumber. As other reviews have indicated, they really look after their customers interests. This turned out to be a difficult job but they were true to their word and did what it took to finish the job. We could not be more pleased. I am the type of person who likes to take care of all of my own repairs, partly because I dont trust easily. This project was out of my league and I knew it would take a pro. After calling around, I was in shock with what companies wanted to charge for this repair. I found JJs after googling affordable plumbers and to my surprise, he was soooooo much more reasonable with his quote. We are so appreciative to JJ and his diligent crew. JJs saved the day!!!!!! I had a shower problem and he couldnt see me but walked me through it on the phone twice. 30 minutes each. I offered to pay him but he said, just give me a Google review and future business. Other plumbers wanted $300-500 to help put a pin back that was not set correctly. He would have charged $125. Look for plumbers like JJ. Those guys charging $300-500 have people out there who will pay that for 30-60 minutes of work. That means on average, they are charging $5-8 a minute. Where JJ charges $1.50-2.00 a minute. A regular licensed plumber who charges a fair price and not gouge his customers.Tony Bennett

I’ve used JJ’s twice now, once to fix a leaking water hose faucet, which he repaired, and once to fix a badly leaking sink drain, which he replaced and rerouted so he didnt have to go into the walls. He shows up when he says he will. He explains the work that needs to be done and offers the most economical solution. His prices are fair and reasonable. The workmanship is good quality. He wore a mask the entire time. I would definitely recommend him.

He is always available as I am a property manager with over 100 apartments that constantly need plumbing work done promptly. -Speedy Service That I Will Use Again-I called, and JJ answered immediately. I told him about my hot water tank issue at my tenants house, and they went out, diagnosed the issue, rebuilt the tank and finished up all in the same day!
