Hands down a wonderful experience!! We have an older home with a sink that wouldnt drain no matter what we tried. Don came out Monday to diagnose our issue and was able to identify our issue immediately. He explained the issue to us in detail so we fully understood. The repair was able to be completed a few days later on Thursday. He was knowledgable, efficient and cleaned up without a trace. Very thankful!

Called Staas Plumbing yesterday after my yard guy broke through my water line at the meter. Decided to tough it out through the night being assured that the tech would be here this morning between 8 and 8 8:30. He was on time and got the job done. Very professional and personable. Can’t remember the young man’s name but I’m sure you will know at your office. Please pass along our thanks. Nice having the water back on as soon as you did. Will definitely recommend you in the future.

I called the office at 8 explaining my problem and was called an hour later to say a tech was in route Jeff K was polite, knowledgeable and diagnosed my problem with a gas water heater! He even had the parts in the truck! The repair was done quickly and I will call Mike Staas for all my repairs. Thanks for an awesome quick repair!

Zach by far is the best service professional I’ve dealt with in 20 years. I had a plumbing issue. Pier and beam house. Not only was he on time but he got under the crawlspace diagnose the problem quick and had a quick fix it fixed it properly And properly. The guy is just simply amazing customer service, personality, and knowledge. Explained everything and was gracious enough to share his knowledge. On other questions I had. Flat out superb service world class. This company should be thankful that he’s on board. I highly recommend you request him for any of your plumbing issues .

Amazing service. I had a very slow leak so it wasn’t an emergency, but they had someone out the next business day after I called. The tech that came out, David, was on-time, friendly, and professional. He was willing to explain the issue several times for me to understand. I also wasn’t overcharged, which I was afraid of with a new house and the first leak I’d had. It was very quick and reasonable. I’ll definitely use them again!

Two blocked drains in the hall bathroom: FIXED! Numerous issues in our utility bathroom: FIXED! Master bathroom (BAD LEAK IN TUB) per the meter reader that came to the house this week, the utility company sent him back to her house later that afternoon on the same day because the discrepancy was so great. It was determined that in those few short hours, she had lost over 800 gallons! ELI FIXED IT IN NO TIME. (my 87 years young mom is not to blame though, she is visually impaired & suffers from wet macular degeneration in both eyes plus no one was using that bathroom during the time of the leak). Very happy. Jeff came to do a significant amount of work in our two bathrooms – involving lots of rust and several issues. He spent about 3 hours working hard and both bathrooms are 100% fixed and working great. The invoice was reasonable for his time and excellent work. Will definitely use again.

The staff at Mike Staas are professionals you can trust to give you an honest explanation about what is going on with the plumbing in your home. Had them come by to look at my home after observing some residue coming out of the sink and they were able to explain everything they could see about my plumbing system to help me understand what was happening. Roy, plumbing tech, did a great job replacing my water heater. He was on time, professional and answered all my questions about the job. I would not hesitate to call this company again.Would have been a 5 star review but he brought the wrong brand of water heater. It wasn’t the brand I was told by the CS rep. would be installed when I made the appointment. Roy immediately arranged to have the correct unit delivered, which just took extra time to complete the job. Still, he did a great job for a fair price.

I had a very short window of opportunity while working on our investment property. I called a few plumbing companies and none answered. I moved on to Mike Staas and asked for their hourly service fees, then requested a visit to lower the in-wall drain trap connection for a deeper sink I had just installed. They said they would leave the office at 8am the next day and show up around 8:30. They showed up just before 8:30.The plumber was polite, listened to my request to bring the trap to code and looked at the connections to the designer sink drain I had. He told me he would have to cut through my wall which was fine. I appreciated his candor. He worked steadily to do it right which I told him that I was more interested in keeping to code rather than cutting corners.There were special plumbing parts that he needed to which he went to a nearby plumbing supply to get. Keep in mind every plumbing job is different. He came right back and got to work again.I’m extremely pleased with his work ethic. He was calm, polite, very clean and performed the water test and water hold which I did not request yet expect from every plumbing profesional. These tests are done to check for leaks in any connection. He asked me to watch so I could witness the results myself. I did. No leaks!Points to working with plumbing professionals I found helpful: Tell them your window of service and ask if you can be accommodated. Tell them exactly what you need done so they can know what they are working with. Tell them you need it done right - they respect that much more than getting it done fast. When they arrive, be polite and be ready to let them work. Clear the area for them to do the work. Most people don’t want to be held responsible for moving other people’s things. Offer to let them use your restroom if they need to. The job may take longer than you think it should take a professional so let them know you’re being considerate of their humanity. They -and we - are not robots. Ask them if they need a bottle of water to stay cool because working around tight spaces can make you break a sweat. Don’t rush them if they’re working hard. Plumbing is not an easy process. If it were, you’d do it yourself - especially when it’s the law to keep things to code. Don’t be surprised if they say you need to replace a water line or valve to a new one if it’s leaking. If you replace a valve, replace the water hose. They go hand in hand. You’ll get better service by being polite.I’m not a plumber but I work with contractors a lot. There’s no better service than one from someone who feels appreciated. I make sure everyone feels welcomed despite what my personal feelings are at any given time. We are all human and have expectations from service people. Remind yourself to see yourself through their eyes. You get what you give.It costs us time and money to bring in a professional. The result was spectacular. This was a commercial sink you don’t see every day. The drain line was not pvc and it needed to be plumbed properly. My service rep was wonderful and did it to code, as expected. Don’t be in too much of a rush if you want things done right.I’ll be keeping Mike Staas on my speed dial. I enjoyed working with the plumber they sent over and I’ll be sure to request him if I ever need them again.
