Our plumber and his trainee were actually early to the appointment and waited for me to get home. They were both cordial and professional. The plumber was particularly mindful of my budget when we encountered a few smaller issues. They worked swiftly, ensuring that there were no leaks and that everything was functioning properly. He even went the extra mile to research some options for me to get the best deal when the time comes to replace the toilet. I was even able to use a senior citizens discount coupon from their website. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing job, big or small.

I have nothing but high praises for this plumbing business. In particular, the plumber, who well call John, was exceptional. Ive been wrestling with significant problems with my recently installed water softener system, which was installed two years prior by a rather unprofessional and ill-informed team. Continuous water issues persisted even after having the system serviced by that subpar team, who assured me my water was 97 percent iron-free and then had the audacity to overcharge me triple the standard rate. Another team came to inspect the condition after the initial team and stated that my water quality was subpar and the overall condition was still terrible. The pipes were improperly installed, valves were broken, and my sink wasnt even connected to my dishwasher! With plans to sell my home in Waco next year, I knew I couldnt trust the previous team to rectify the situation. In my search for a reliable team, I came across this plumbing service. They were incredibly knowledgeable, easily accessible, and scheduled my appointment for the next day. I received a text with Johns name, his experience, and his expected arrival time. Shortly after, I received a call from John himself, informing me he was en route. He arrived punctually, was very friendly, and even enjoyed the company of my dogs while working. John was taken aback by the condition of my plumbing system and the issues I was encountering. In less than ten minutes, he managed to fix a shower valve that had been leaking for a year. He then replaced my entire kitchen faucet, removed my old pipes, and installed everything correctly and brand new. He also drained my hot water heater without any issues and inspected my bladder tank located under my house. John was truly an amazing, hardworking, and skilled plumber. To our surprise, the same job was completed at 2/3 of the previous quote. The original plumber suggested a complete toilet replacement for a minor repair, however, our assigned plumber from Declan & Sons Plumbing actually repaired it - imagine that! Weve since called him back for a routine maintenance task (the sacrificial rod - look it up, its a lifesaver for your water heater) and an urgent job later on. He was prompt in his response and solved the issue efficiently. If the job is too big, hes quick to recommend other reliable contractors. We cant recommend their services enough if youre in Waco!

After a bit of digging, he managed to locate the leak by touch. once the pipe was fixed, he cleaned up the work area and put everything back in place. i was impressed not only with his diagnostic skills and meticulous work, but also his promptness and affordable charge. i did have to wait a couple of days due to their busy schedule, but if the leak had been more severe, i would have had to turn off the water or call a 24-hour plumber. i hope not to encounter any more plumbing issues, but if i do, i will definitely call on their services again. job well done.

Despite challenging weather conditions, they managed to schedule my first plumbing service appointment. The whole team was impressive, particularly the technician who was assigned to my job. He bravely faced the inclement weather, when many would have retreated. Upon arriving, he wasted no time in diagnosing the problem with my kitchen sink drain. On two occasions in the past, a clog had resulted in drain water spilling into my dishwasher and onto my floor. His suggestion was to install a check valve to prevent any reverse flow. But he didnt stop there. He also added an extra check valve before the P-Trap, preventing any building water from backing up into the trap. His attention to detail was evident when he noticed missing levers from the sink shut-off valves and informed me. The technician didnt just focus on the immediate problem. He conducted a thorough inspection of the whole property as part of the first of the two annual checks. He even inspected the refrigerator ice-maker line at my request. Before leaving, he ran the dishwasher to ensure there were no leaks. The technician’s ability to explain everything clearly and repeat himself when necessary ensured I understood everything. His intelligence, knowledge, kindness, and patience made him a standout. You can be assured youre in excellent hands with this technician!

However, during their visit, they observed that the pipes in the basement were too narrow, which was causing my tub to drain slower than it should (I had to wait for about 5 minutes for the tub to empty). They also identified a leak in my heating system and promptly repaired it. They replaced the existing pipes of my walk-in tub with 3 pipes, and now my tub drains within 1-2 minutes. I cant help but praise declan & sons plumbing. we had taken out an old-style bathtub to replace the floor and ended up breaking the pipe connected to the tub. the tub didnt have any shut off valve, so we had to turn off the water supply to the entire house. tried reaching out to other plumbers and ended up on their emergency list, but none showed up and couldnt even provide a rough estimate of when they might be able to help. declan & sons plumbing, however, managed to squeeze us into their schedule. they even installed shut off valves to prevent future need of shutting off the water to the whole house. just recently, we had a minor issue with our toilet, and they promptly came over to fix it. even though the tasks we have are not big, it is clear they still value us as a client and they provide excellent work. - debbie lawton

I had declan & sons plumbing fix my water mainline a while back and their service was top-notch. they sent a worker with the right equipment to bore a hole from the sidewalk to my main water line into my home. the outside faucet connections were then completed, with very little concrete damage for that run line. however, the pipe beyond the faucet connection began to leak a bit due to rusty threads. i reached out to the same company once again and a plumber came to sort it out. he replaced the fitting and section of pipe with copper. as expected, they did a great job. i highly recommend their professionalism for any plumbing needs.

We stumbled upon a plumber through an online search today. given the positive reviews, we decided to give him a call. our call was answered by him and he arrived the morning we were dealing with a plumbing issue. we explained the situation to him and a few hours later, he showed up. he even sent a text to inform me of his arrival, just as he promised. he offered his professional opinion on what was wrong (which turned out to be accurate) and provided a quote. the work was completed swiftly (even on a saturday) and his rates were quite reasonable compared to others. this plumber is honest, fair, and reliable. you should never ever hesitate to reach out to him. his online reviews are spot on and accurate. i will never, ever, ever consider hiring anyone else. if i could rate him higher, i would. update: we ran into a minor issue that i, as the homeowner, inadvertently caused. i texted the plumber late in the evening, outside of regular business hours. he responded and attempted to assist over the phone, but we were unable to resolve the issue remotely. he offered to come over as soon as possible, even though this wasnt an urgent situation. he showed up promptly at 8am and fixed the problem i had created. its refreshing to see a business owner who stands by his customers. do not hesitate to hire him. a+++++++++

I had a trio of faucets that were all four decades old, which unfortunately started leaking around the same period. i placed a call to a plumbing company and left a message, which shaun responded to. given the age of the faucets, shaun suggested that it might be a better idea to consider new faucets instead of trying to fix the old ones. since they dont sell new faucets, i didnt book the repair until we had the replacements in hand. once the replacements were ready and i let shaun know, he promptly got back to me and came over the following day. the shut-off valves for two of the faucets had to be changed out. shaun and his helper were able to complete all the work swiftly and at a reasonable cost. i definitely plan to use their services again when i have any plumbing needs.

Had a wonderful time discussing my water heater problems with tom. he was really informed about what his company can offer and very truthful about the evaluations and cost. deciding to hire his company was a breeze after our first talks. eric did an excellent job of setting up the water heater and tidying up after. we were operational in roughly 3 hours, even after needing to replace the new water heater when the first one didnt fit. they also handled the vent pipe touching the roof after i shared what the gas company had mentioned. extremely pleased with the work they performed.
