Cleaned up. The following day a service technician came out with a camera and showed us the interior of cleaned pipe. Looked like a brand new pipe inside. Very Happy with the service we received.

We just bought a house and the previous owners definitely struggled with basic care to the home. One issue we have is the pipes being horribly clogged. Daniel came through for us and we are now able to run our dishwasher and sink with ease. Super professional and sweet person. Couldnt be happier!Weve used Sarkinen twice for huge clogs in our kitchen pipes and theyve been absolutely spectacular each time. We had Alex and his apprentice out today and he did a wonderful job of explaining options and pricing, and by the time he was done that pipe was cleaner that its been since we moved in over 20 years ago.Yeah, plumbing work can be expensive, but when we need service Im happy to pay for people who do things right every time.

He was fast, efficient and transparent about why certain options were more effective than others and worked with me on pricing. He recommended best practices to keep our drain clear in the future and showed us how to use a chemical agent on a regular basis to prevent future build up. He scheduled a follow up camera line inspection before leaving for the next day to verify clean lines. Very pleased 10/10 recommend.

These guys are great. My hot water heater stopped working. I called them at 10:00 am to ask for an estimate and by 4:00 pm the same day the technicians were leaving after installing my new heater. The price was about what I expected and within $50 of another estimate (but that outfit couldnt install for a few days). The individuals I dealt with were professional and courteous. Had a broken pipe under our kitchen sink. I was surprisingly able to get someone out the same day to make the repair which Im very happy with. However, when I came home and saw the amount of work done compared to the cost I feel ripped off and will never use them again. They had 2 guys here for 1 hour and I was charged $1100 for replacing 3 shut-off valves and replacing the PVC to those valves with about 18 of Pex. I do not recommend Sarkinen and if needed in the future I will wait to find someone more reasonably price even if it means going without water for another day.UPDATE: About 6 weeks after this repair there was a hairline crack in the pvc directly above the fittings they installed. While impossible to tell whether or not it was a workmanship issue they repaired the new leak at no charge and installed brackets to secure the new line reducing flex on the old brittle pvc piping. While I still feel the initial pricing was too high the fact that they took care of the additional work at no charge was good customer service and I would consider using them again.

The initial estimate took place the day after I placed my call (what a treat in this post-pandemic service world!), the person who performed the estimate was awesome; explaining everything, answering all my questions, and their team was so respectful of my home. I had all my ducts cleaned and furnace serviced for less than I expected it would be, and less than 24 hours after my first phone call. We had a leak under our sink. It wasnt urgent, so we set an appointment. The plumber came at the early end of our service window. He was very nice, and fixed our problem quickly. I asked him about another issue and he gave me an idea of what it would cost and is going to email and estimate. The cost for todays service was completely reasonable, so much so that I was surprised! I am so happy to find a reliable and reasonable plumbing company for my home!Edit: our line backed up and it looked like they werent going to be able to come until tomorrow but Mick and his apprentice made it out today. I decided in handling my water heater install with my roommate and had the job about 95% done. We hit a little snag with the new unit being 1-2 inches taller in height than my old one. It was a pain to fit the exhaust metal piping onto the heater because of it. So I made the call to Sarkinen Plumbing, and here comes Randall and Marco hailing from Vancouver WA and to my place in Beaverton. They told me the job was nothing too major and did not charge me a dime. They ended up cutting the pipe and installing it for me in 10 minutes flat. I recently had an issue with my water heater. One of Sarkinens plumbers came out on a Saturday (I think his name was Alex) to repair it. He saw that it was a simple repair and agreed with me that I could do it myself. He gave me some pointers and left me to it, not even charging me for the visit. This is the second time I have worked with Sarkinen Plumbing and I have nothing but the very highest praise for their business. They are honest, prompt and highly skilled. Whenever I have plumbing issues in the future, they will be my first and only call.

Hands down the BEST group of plumbing professionals! Discovered we didnt have hot water 10p night before, called 9:30a on a holiday and during extreme cold weather. They had a tech out to diagnose by 1p and a crew coming by at 4p the same day to pull my old water heater, install the new one and have me back up and running by 7p. These guys are amazing! So friendly, professional and just focused on getting your issue resolved. I cant recommend them enough. As cold as it was, they had the best attitude and were so helpful. I went from disappointment to extremely grateful. Their garbage disposal installation quote was $1150 and I have the disposal, outrageous, so I declined.However, we had another issue, low water pressure and no hot water at the kitchen sink. So I ask for their expert in these situations to come to the house a few days later. Jordan, knows his stuff. You could see him thinking through the problem with knowledge and experience. We are thrilled to have pressure and hot water. The hour for his service was $250 and worth it.

After being quoted $229 just for the service call plus up to $450 for the repair from another plumber, and then told by another person that it could be around $3000 for a mainline clog, we called Sarkinen Plumbing and there was no service fee and no commitment. Tommy came out and fixed our problem within an hour of calling (and after almost 36 hours with no toilets or showers!), he was confident and knowledgeable and friendly, and didn’t quit until he was 100% positive the problem was resolved. Plumbing isn’t cheap, as we all know, but it was cheaper than the other guys with quality work. Thanks!

Brian showed up on Wednesday, the 21st, and promised that he will fix my bathroom shower in a matter of time. Unfortunately, he went to two Home Depots looking for the part that he needs to replace. He called when he finally found one and was on his way back and finished the job in a matter of minutes. He was very respectful and very friendly.There is one problem though. I am having difficulty using the shower because I do have a hard time turning it on and shutting it off since both my hands have problems. Do you guarantee customer satisfaction and send somebody to fix it? There is a need to readjust the faucet so I can turn it on and off with ease.

The lady I spoke with was Very Helpful, Kind, Genuinely Concerned & wanted to make sure our family were all safe, before we hung up. We have used Sarkinen Plumbing twice now, for two different plumbing needs and have been very pleased with the service and results. The first was a visit to replace our water heater damaged by well water deposits. We had previously purchased parts to repair the thermostat, thinking that was the issue, but instead opted to replace. Our technician amazingly used the parts we already had to quickly and thoroughly repair it, instead of recommending replacement. Saved us lots of money! They also took a water sample for testing, so we know what filters to put in.Second visit was to diagnose drains backing up. We have a relatively new house (7 years) and take good care not to put anything in the toilets or drains that would disagree with our septic. Recently had maintenance done on septic. Technician cleared the drains in question and ran a camera to find the source. Not an easy solution, but discovered our septic was not installed properly!! Ouch!Really helpful and courteous office staff, easy scheduling and availability. Highly recommend for trustworthy,reasonable prices, and knowledgeable service!!

Used for Water Main Line Repair: The estimate from Sarkinen was $2000 (!!) less than the 2 other estimates that I received for the repair of my main line. This is due to the fact that Sarkinen owns their own boring machine. Beyond this, they were extremely nice and helpful throughout the process and 0% financing is a no-brainer. I cant see how anyone would go with any other company to do their mainline repair and I cant recommend them more highly.

I was referred to Sarkinen Plumbing by a neighbor who had a very good experience with them. My garbage disposal started leaking and my call to Sarkinen was promptly returned. A technician came the next morning to diagnose the problem and we agreed I needed a new disposal. I had a choice to go out and buy my own disposal but the technician, Matthew, came in a truck equipped with what I needed so I had him install the one he brought. He was efficient, pleasant and did a great job for a reasonable price. He also helped me diagnose an unrelated plumbing issue. I was really pleased to find a plumbing service I liked and will definitely call them again for future plumbing problems.

We had an issue with outside hose spigots that were an extension from our kitchen faucets. The technician quickly found the problem, replaced the old connections and mounted 2 spigots on the outside wall. We discovered that the water pressure was extremely low so they came back the next day and corrected the problem in about 15 minutes. It turned out to be a bad flow restrictor in the faucet. All is good and we are we extremely happy to recommend them very highly.

Sarkinen plumbing was super quick to respond to my initial query and got us set up with a big whole-house re-pipe about a month out, on the schedule that I needed.The job took about a week and workers arrived on time each day and were friendly, hard-working, and trust worthy. There was one small area that was inaccessible so unable to be re-piped but that was through no fault of the plumbers, it was an issue with the building design.One thing that could have been improved is that when they cut holes in my home to access the pipes, they didn’t cover any of my kitchen appliances and they were extremely dirty after the job. It was difficult to clean out all the nooks and crannies in the refrigerator and stove…I’m still cleaning! I wish they would have covered them with plastic to protect them better. Or at minimum, told me to cover them - I would have but didn’t know where they would be cutting into Sheetrock.In all, I would recommend Sarkinen for their quick response and solid performance.

I called them and with in 15min a tech was at our home to give us a quote. The quote was reasonable and he was able to complete the work the same day. The office staff was also great to work with. If I need plumbing services I will definitely use this company again.

We had a timely response from this business, and we were able to get our disposal replaced day after I contacted them. The technicians were were on time, respectful of the property and completed the work quickly. It was a good experience with the dispatcher to the actual installation.

This was the first time using your services. Firstly I would like to compliment the ladies in the office. Ive been in customer service, in a service industry, for over 12 years, and their professionalism and pleasantness on the phone was exceptional! (Great job ladies!) Taylor had called me to see if they could get in early today, (heck yeah!) So that was awesome to start. Kevin our service tech, was very professional and very pleasant, and did a great job installing our kitchen faucet. We werent expecting the cost to be so high, as we provided the materials, but we didnt have time to get a free estimate, as we had water dripping underneath our sink, and we are second floor in a condo, so thats not good! We had to get the work done, and he did a very good job! He only took about 30 minutes, tested the operation of the faucet, and that was it --slam dunk!! Thank you Kevin for putting up with my yapping Chihuahua devil dog 🥰 I recommend this business to anyone needing plumbing service. The way you run your business is exactly how its supposed to be done! Great job to everyone!

Sarkinen did a great job with our new water main. It was a big job, but they got it done on time and even wiped up our floors when they were finished. We are very glad to have water again and thankful to Sarkinen for getting the job done quickly and for a better price than the other estimates we received.
