Our underground drain pipes (from the downspouts to our dry well) have been clogged ever since moving into this house. We have had four plumbers out to fix it, but they all failed and gave up. Taylor is friendly, timely, professional—I could go on... Compared to other plumbers Ive worked with before or gotten estimates from, this is the only time where I didnt feel like Im being taken advantage of. Most recently, Taylor removed and installed a kitchen sink and faucet and replaced three old plastic quick release valves (hot, cold, dishwasher) with metal ones. The price for all this was between half, and one-fifth the amount of the other 4 quotes I solicited.Solid work from a non-predatory plumber!

Once a broken pipe was found, he stayed until he replaced the piping, cleaned the sledge in the top portion of the system which had backed up, leveled the sunken cover and cleaned up. I called Taylor after a less-than-desirable experience with a larger plumbing service in Vancouver. The situation was pretty dire, my sewer lines were backing up and I had family coming to visit in just a few days. Once he found out my situation, he came right away, literally. I think there was only about an hour between my call and him at my place. We found multiple issues with shoddy workmanship from the previous owners and we ended up having to excavate in two places to get it all figured out. We just finished hooking everything up and making sure it all worked and I could not be happier. He was extremely timely, professional, competitively priced, and I cannot stress this enough, he cared and was human in a time when most companies just look at numbers. He saw my situation, and he made me a priority. I will never look for another plumber as long as he is in business, and I will ONLY refer people to him when asked about plumbing. When you have any issues, there is a real person (Taylor) who, perhaps may be a genuine water whisperer, water bender, or just a wizard maybe all 3 (its probably all 3) I had some minor plumbing issues that were fixed as soon as they were able to schedule me. Taylor was straightforward and took no time diagnosing and simultaneously fixing our problem. He was a clear and timely communicator (in the early hours of the morning no less), showed up just an hour or two after we first contacted him and provided accurate and fair price quotes. He and his assistant replaced our leaking check valve on our sump pump and installed an expansion tank to fix our old house’s water hammer in less than an hour, all while wearing respectful protective booties and leaving the place cleaner than when they arrived. Taylor provided fantastic customer service, genuinely a great guy, and promptly cleaned out the pipe from our kitchen which we had been struggling with for several days trying to do our own drain snake - but we were unable to cut through the clog as it had hardened solids blocking the whole thing. He used several different tools to clear it out and make sure it flushed down, including a camera to confirm it was clean and clear.He took the extra steps to alter the angle of one section of the pipe down in the crawl space to prevent potential blockage areas in the future (the angle was too flat in one section and needed more down slope), and made sure everything was working well and dry before he left.He left saying he backs his service 110% - and we are so grateful for his ability, quick response, and fantastic customer service.We highly recommend!!!!

We were referred to Drain Hound by a local plumbing supply when our main supply line from the meter began leaking. We were expecting a monstrous bill because the pipe went underneath our driveway. Taylor came up with an excellent solution by boring under the driveway and installing a completely new supply line which should last many years. I would highly recommend Taylor for your plumbing needs. My toilet was not flushing and I soon found that I was having a backup in my basement. Having had issues with roots in this drain in the past I figured that the problem was back. I called Taylor at 8:30am and he was at my house by 10:30 after finishing at another customers house. He gave me a reasonable quote for cleaning and scoping and promptly got right to work. After trying to clean the drain he noticed there actually wasnt a clog but rather a problem with my septic tank in the back yard.Taylor updated my a long the way and investigated the pump from the holding tank to the septic tank and found an issue with the pump. While this was a city problem (as they own the septic tank and pump) he proactively checked the control box and found there was no power to the pump. He then spent time looking at the pump and box while I flipped the breaker to troubleshoot and get the pump working again.He ended up knocking $150 off his quote for cleaning but spent extra time investigating the drain to make sure the roots were not back in drain even though it wasnt clogged. He ended up scoping the drain and providing me the photos for future reference and made a recommendation for how I address the situation with the city.Taylor was friendly and professional in demeanor and provided above and beyond service for me and my family. He was determined to both find and correct my issue even after determining that it was likely a city problem. I will call him back whenever I have issues with my plumbing.
