    We had resin beads coming through our faucets on a Monday night, I called the Water Man on Tuesday and they were at my house on Wednesday to fix the system. They gave me a fair estimate on the phone and the actually price I paid was even better! Martin was our technician and he was great! He was very thorough and took his time to make sure the system was working perfectly. He told us what to expect now that the tank had been redone and he was right about everything. We were very happy with our whole experience and the help received from everyone.

    Been using the Water Man for about 6 months now. I started out buying Costco water bottles but switched to a water dispenser. We drink alkaline water all the time and I have 3 5 gallon water jugs. Cost is great in comparison to buying the water bottles at only 1.25 per gallon for Alkaline. Customer service has always been great. Highly recommend if you drink a lot water especially alkaline like we do. I wish I would have bought my initial 5 gallon jugs from them because the Water Man’s are screw tops

    Service from The Water Man has always been exceptional. Martin recently changed my reverse osmosis filters and did maintenance on my whole house filter. He discovered and fixed an error in the plumbing to the whole house filter. I’m very happy with what he did.

    Today, Martin came over to replace the filters, and I have to say he did an excellent job. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions about the system, but he was also very kind to my dog. I wasnt home when the water softener was initially installed a year ago, so I had a lot of questions. Martin took the time to explain everything and gave me tips on how to keep it running smoothly.

    I am very happy with the services we received from The Water Man company and would highly recommend them to others. From scheduling, to the quote, and the final install everything went very well. We had a difficult time finding a company to work on our Hydro-Quad water softener. Two other companies tried to sell us a new system but ours was only a few years old. The Water Man recommended a rebuild of the system and recommended a carbon tank to extend the life of our water softener. It was a much better solution than others had offered and we plan to use The Water Man for future maintenance and repairs. See below for before and after photo with the added carbon tank.

    Martin was very thorough As he changed the filters he explained how the purification process took place. As he emptied the tank in order for the air bag to be adjusted. He also suggested the proper salt to use with the system although I dont remember everything that he stated I was very pleased with his professionalism

    From the first phone contact to request service to the truck leaving our driveway, our experience with Waterman was wonderful. At NO time did we feel like we were being pressured to commit to buying new unit. The technician patiently explained and showed us problems and explained our options to address the problem which was us unfixable after 12 years of use (and mice getting into wired top of unit) with bottom line unit. We asked about their systems and got the Silver package which met our needs and was reasonable $$ and is far better than our original. Thank you, Waterman Company, for taking care of us 2 old people.

    Awesome experience from beginning to current. We like to find quality businesses to support by trusting and utilizing their expertise and skills. No let down here! We initially contacted them for assessment and potential repair of our GE water softener we had purchased in 2015. (Sherry was quick to respond with scheduling and was knowledgeable about the actual way the system was to work.) No surprise that it was not worth repairing, so we pretty much assumed we would be choosing to get a new system. Mikey and Kevin explained everything to me and answered my questions. Got us sent a quote on the spot and said we could let them know our decision. Additionally, without any pressure they explained about an option of a filtering system which we were definitely appreciative of. I immediately said yes to both the softener and filtering system and the installation was the following morning!! Very professional, smooth process and they left everything perfectly clean and in this situation were able to remove our old system during this appointment. We have had the system two weeks and love it. Now our water is truly how we wanted it to be! I would definitely utilize and also recommend The Water Man for any future needs with their knowledge, skills and efficiency.

    I called multiple plumbers for estimates and to hear their voice so I could get a feel for them. You have to be careful who you let in your house and trust to do a good job. The Water Man had a great price and very personable. I spoke with both the owner and scheduler and their personalities shinned and their knowledge of my plumbing issue. I was sold. On the day of the job, the plumber was fantastic. Very personable, friendly, answering all my questions and then some. He also explained how everything worked in a very understanding way. For anyone reading this, you owe it to yourself to call The Water Man. A phone call can hurt and I dont think you will be disappointed.

    Update: My husband spoke with Tye and he was very apologetic regarding our experience. He was adamant that is not the way they run their business and offered to refund our service fee. Appreciative of their response. I changed my star rating from 1 to 4. I would like to give them higher marks because of this, but I feel that would negate our initial experience. Tye seems like really solid dude and is willing to correct mistakes - which is rare these days.Really frustrated with this company. Our Whirlpool water softener started leaking from the tank neck/clamp - pouring out water & flooding our garage.A plumber recommended The Water Man. My husband called and spoke to Ty Washington (owner? manager?). Anyway, he said they dont work on all water softeners so take a picture of the unit and text it to him so he can see if they can work on it.We sent not only pictures of the unit, we also sent a video of it leaking. The office called us back and set up an appointment. Assumption: they work on Whirlpools and can possibly fix the leak.Two gentlemen showed up. Nice guys. One took the water pressure (which was a little high but within the parameters of this softener). The other guy look the lid off, turned the water bypass valve on, and watched the water leak just like the video. He didnt look at the tank, take the clamp off to see if the tank was damaged, or if it was the clamp. Nothing. Nada. He told me he had seen the video prior.The second guy came back in and said We cant fix this. Tank is probably dimpled. We dont work on Whirlpools. Cant get the parts. yada, yada, yada then tried to sell me a $2500+ water softener. How do you know the tank is dimpled? You didnt look at it. If water leaking like that always dimples the tank, you saw the video. Why did you come out and charge me a $95 service fee to tell me you couldnt work on it?My husband called the office to find out why they came out when they could see in the video exactly what the problem was and that it was a Whirlpool. They gave him a song and dance about how they can repair certain universal components so they needed to see the unit. Total BS. They didnt look at anything or touch anything that wasnt on the video. They could tell beforehand these werent universal components.I basically paid $95 for a sales pitch/estimate I didnt want or need.

    Got quotes from many places, and this company was the only one that didn’t feel like a timeshare presentation. Tye answered all our questions, wasn’t pushy about any add ons, and the company as a whole was very responsive when we had any questions we thought of later.The installers were on time, nice, and with the water softener/dechlorinator/reverse osmosis, total installation only took about 3 hours. Very pleased with how everything looks and the experience overall was great. Would highly recommend

They were able to come the following day to install.     I called multiple places for a price quote to install a water softener in a new home, and The Water Man had the best, even for work in the Austin area. Not only that, Fred didnt try to upsell me on equipment or service. I explained what I was looking for, and he told me what would meet my needs, and what I thought I needed but really didnt. On the day of service, two techs showed up on time and finished the job super fast. They definitely knew what they were doing (one tech said hed been in the business more than 30 years). Actual price did not exceed the quote. Fantastic service, knowledgeable folks, highly recommend.

    Great pricing and smooth installation. The system has been installed for 18 months and everything still works great.Ive had the cheap Kenmore water softeners in the past which needed a bag of salt every month or so, but whatever branded they sold me is much better for salt usage. I think Ive inly used like 4 bags in 18 months.Overall, 5 stars, for quality of sales, equipment, and install.

    I cant say enough positive words about Ty Washington and his staff. They gave us a great value and highly efficient water softener and Reverse Osmosis System and we have love them. The system is extremely efficient and is only used 3 bags of salt in a year and a half. They came out and did their one-year maintenance on our system to make sure everything is running good, and once again we received excellent service.     The Water Man team is professional and courteous. We had the pleasure of working with Tye. He answered all of my questions that I had prior to and after the install. He even showed up at our house the day of the installation to make sure everything was ok. We went with the package that included the water softener tank, carbon filter tank and reverse osmosis. It is such a pleasure to work with a company that is not high pressure. The other company that gave us a quote was throwing all these different numbers out there to make things confusing.     Was referred to Tye by a friend over at Bryco Plumbing and boy am I glad he gave me this companys information. The price was extremely competitive and the warranty coverage was 10 years 100%. We waited a few weeks to write the review and everything Tye explained is what happened. Could not be happier, the water coming out of the osmosis system under the kitchen sink is SO GOOD!!! These guys deserve more business, they work hard and were friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks again Tye!!

    They installed a water softener at my home about March, 2020. At the time I was on well water, they did a great job on my water softener installation. Then in September, 2020, I got a water meter for Country water, The Waterman came and connected my water softener to the new meter water from the County, disconnected water lines from the well. They did an excellent job their too. I’m very happy with The Waterman folks.

This was after several trips to my home to make sure they couldnt provide me with adequate soft water with the existing water softener which speaks to their commitment to please their customers.There wasnt any pressure to buy and all options and prices were given to me so I could make the best decision financially and it didnt matter how many times I called with more questions I was met with a helpful and friendly response.I really cant speak highly enough about this company and, Fred one of the partners, but I want you to read this review and so I will end by saying, If you want a company you can count on and who provides excellent service, a fair price, and honest work then look no further.

    The Water has been a consummate professional. No one wishes to deal with issues after purchasing an equipment; however, when I had a slight leak under my sink, Tye and his team of professionals came to my rescue. the problem was resolved within a 24 hour time period. THe base of the sink was destroyed but Tye contracted a company that replaced the base board like new. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends.

    We have a water softener/purifier from here. We needed them to come to replace the filter under the sink(this line feeds the water dispenser for the fridge and a special dispenser next to the sink). We usually need this done about every 6 months to a year. Mr. Wood called to let us know he was on his way and an ETA. He got here right on time and set about to his work.     If you need a water softening system, trying to go with a cheap, do-it-yourself from the hardware store will cost you $$$ in the long run. I contacted Fred (the Water Man) about our new home and how the appliances, showers, sinks, & toilets were showing scale build-up. He designed & installed a great system that has plenty of capacity, digital controls, and re-charges in the early morning hours to give us plenty of softened water for our daily needs.     We purchased a home here in San Antonio and the previous owners cut the water softener lines and took the water softener system with them. You can imagine our displeasure! To make matters worse, when the water main was turned on water started flooding the garage. Water pouring out of the lines they had simply cut and left. This water softener had hoses coming through the garage wall, into the attic and out of the attic. There was a mess of plastic hoses, we could not figure out what what all these hoses were for.     Update: My husband spoke with Tye and he was very apologetic regarding our experience. He was adamant that is not the way they run their business and offered to refund our service fee. Appreciative of their response. I changed my star rating from 1 to 4. I would like to give them higher marks because of this, but I feel that would negate our initial experience. Tye seems like really solid dude and is willing to correct mistakes - which is rare these days.Our Whirlpool water softener went out and our plumber recommended a the Water Man. My husband called and they gave him the owner?/managers? Cell. He called Mr Washington who said to take a picture of the unit and model number since they didn’t work on every model.We took picture and a video of water spewing from the neck of the tank. He looked at that and told us to call the office ti schedule an appointment.Long story short, they came out, didn’t even look at the tank (said they had seen the video). Said my water pressure was high and that they don’t work on Whirlpools because they can’t get the parts. Then tried to sell me a $2800 water softener. My husband called the office afterwards trying to get our service fee back since they weren’t exactly above board in the fact that they couldn’t repair or work on our system but came out knowing that. They declined to refund our service fee.So I paid $95 for a sales pitch that I didn’t need

    Tye came you our house late one afternoon after being recommended for the superior product and service. He explained what they do and how everything works and what we would see for the final product.We just bought a new house and it did not come with a water softener. Tye explained that his product can not only soften the water, but it can be a water treatment system. He went into to say that this system will save us money in the long run because the water will not destroy the appliances with the build up of calcium and other minerals that are in the city water. He showed us the options, we chose and paid for it. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon. I asked if they could install it now. He got on the phone with the installers and our system was installed by 7:00pm same day. Had a couple of very minor issues with the water line to the refrigerator. They were quick to respond and we haven’t had a problem after that.
