Glad I called Chamblis Plumbing Last week, I noticed a steady leak from my tankless water heater and was informed by my neighbor that it could be due to pressure issues. Josh from Chambliss Plumbing came out to assess the situation. After his inspection, he confirmed that the pressure regulator at the road had failed and that the tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly.Although I’ve previously shared my dissatisfaction with my builder’s poor workmanship, I won’t dwell on that here. Instead, I want to highlight Josh’s expertise and professionalism. He immediately identified the issues and took action to address CKC’s mistakes. Within one year, my water heater had required multiple adjustments and ultimately started leaking like a faucet. Josh also pointed out that the unit’s attic installation was not up to standard and required further corrections.Thanks to Josh’s knowledge and efficiency, the pressure regulator was replaced, and the leak on the side of my house was resolved within days. I truly appreciate his professionalism, the military discount, and the quick resolution of these issues. I highly recommend Chambliss Plumbing for their excellent service.

If I could hug the guys, I would have done so. They did an amazing job. My downstairs toilet looked like a fountain spilling water on to my main floor. They had it fixed in less than an hour. He rearranged his workers’ schedules for Monday in order to give me immediate attention. He sent out a complete crew and when they had some questions, Kevin Chambliss came out and saw to it that the leak was isolated and eliminated.Today, Calvin came out and finalized the work.On top of all this, the invoice that was submitted was far less than I would have anticipated or expected.Five stars is grossly insufficient to rate Chambliss Plumbing. I’ve used Chambliss since before they were the well known company they are today…I wanna say 2007. BEST PLUMBING company there is. I use them for all my plumbing needs. They are consistent, reliable, trustworthy (which is huge for me) Today I called them because I had just a trickle of water coming in.Within 5 minutes of getting here, Del knew it was the pressure regulator (it lasted since 2007!)They said they would get someone out between 1-3pm…..but were able to arrive before noon! I am so grateful for them I had to make sure they got a review before I forget. While they’re here, they’re willing to change out my outdoor spigots that leak.These guys are the best, amazing….every plumber that’s ever been here has been perfect (except one and he’s no longer with them) lolThank you Chambliss! Alda and Del, two outstanding Justin Chambliss plumbers performed our hydrostatic test today, September 17th, with exceptional attention to detail. At the end of the test, Del told Alda that there was an issue; they asked if we have an ice maker or a Reverse Osmosis system and was it used in the last 30 minutes? I said yes, we made a protein shake with the RO water. Del turned off our RO system. They redid the test, and our test showed NO water leak. Their thoroughness gives us piece of mind that our water system has integrity. Thanks Chambliss Plumbing. I feel like weve finally found our plumber for keeps! We had Blake come out and assess the condition of our old hot water heater. We decided to have him order us a new one. They prepped the area and got to work. They had the problem diagnosed and cleared quickly. The two young men were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I am a real estate investor and felt very strongly about leaving a review.As an investor, I diligently research 3-5 contractors every time I have a new type of repair on a home. Essentially all the highly-rated plumbing companies in the SA area (except for Chambliss) have suspiciously stellar reviews. I also run an e-commerce company and know how reviews can be paid for. Google doesnt vet reviews, so most of them are fake. Yet, when you ask highly-rated companies about prices or any forecast, sales associates and on-site techs cant give you a straight answer. Despite their 10+ years of experience, no plumbing company can tell you what any job will cost, only that you need to pay 100s to 1000s of dollars to find out what a problem is, even if you know what the market rate is, which I do as a 10+ year investor. This is how I finally stumbled upon Chambliss.Chambliss is exceptional. They talked me through the work and broke down the job with full transparency. The techs and sales associates were pleasant to speak to, and they didnt try to add spurious work or time. In fact, they advised me based on what was most practical not most profitable.Its unfortunate that most plumbing companies in SA have gone the way of fake reviews, paying for inorganic page rank, and offloading their costs onto unsuspecting customers, at the same time charging exorbitant rates for simple plumbing work. This has consequenies in the long run, and I think many of these companies are looking to get bought out by larger companies, so they are manufacturing growth at the expense of quality and the customer. Chambliss does not do this. They seem to want to stay private and do great plumbing work, which is why they have a perfect review score on Google. They earned this with grit and exceptional work that honors the customer.I felt strongly about writing this review because I too built a #1 ranking product and e-commerce company. I did it by staying true to the product and treating the customer with respect, and I hope that more customers change to use Chambliss for their plumbing needs. Keep doing great work, Chambliss!

Anyway, Calvin and his assistant Gabe showed up this morning and started digging. They founfd the leak in minutes. Not from my waterline but from my neighbors line. I called him up, he asked how much it would cost and Calvin gave a rough but extremely reasonable estimate. In under an hour after arriving they had his problem fixed. And it was under the estimate. Update 03/23/2024 - Chambliss Plumbing replaced the toilet tank supply valve in our hall bath and rebuilt both toilets in the front of the house. The one toilet that would not flush completely without completely emptying the tank works normallly now. :-). I called a few other plumbers I used in the past and got quotes to replace a pressure reducing valve. Having some familiarity with the process, I knew this was fairly simple and straightforward. I called Chambliss and their quote was almost $300 less than the others. The workers, Devin and Mark, were super professional and really nice to work with. Based on my experience I will absolutely call Chambliss first for all my plumbing needs moving forward and I’ll be sure to refer them. I found that I had a leak on the compression tank above the water heater that had been leaking for probably 2 days. I called Chambliss Plumbing on a friends recommendation. I was so lucky! They had a plumber very near my neighborhood finishing a job and he was able to get to my house in less than 20 min. Roy was very professional, immediately diagnosed the issue and had a replacement part in his van. He had the job of replacing the part done in about 20 min, including cleaning up. What a peace of mind it was to find a business so reliable and with such professional employees.The price was very reasonable too. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!!

Chambliss Plumbing Company is hands down my go-to plumbing company in San Antonio. When I first moved here, I had them install a water softener loop, water softener, and line for my refrigerator. Im not going to lie, it was expensive and it took a bit of time to pay off the credit card, but getting quotes from other companies, their price was VERY reasonable, especially for the quality of work.Since then, I have recommended them to others who have had no complaints.Most recently, I was trying to get our main drain cleared from a clog. I thought that our home warranty would be a cheaper way to get it cleared, but $150, 2 service calls, and a lot of grief later, the clog was just as bad as ever. I called Chambliss and they came and cleared the clog right away with zero issues. They spent the time to do it right and make sure it was fully cleared and tested it several times to make sure everything was perfect. Best of all, the price was not much more than the service calls and the home warranty said they would cover it. I regret not trying to get the home warranty company to let me use them as opposed to the companies they chose in the first place and will definitely do so in the future. Home warranty or not, the price was very reasonable and well worth it.

We hired them to install a new PRV due to a humming sound in our wall.I really like to understand whats going on when I hire somebody to do service work. Well be using them for our plumbing needs in the future!
