Their friendliness and strong work ethic were so outstanding, it was a little disappointing when the project ended and they had to move on to their next task. I nicknamed them the A Team due to their exceptional and highly professional work. The crew, led by Walter, included master plumber Isaac and his assistants Carter and Julio. They worked tirelessly and swiftly. The project involved installing a new trenchless main sewer line, updating all the old cast iron pipes under the house, and replacing any other pipes and sewer lines that required attention. An 11-foot deep hole was dug to connect the new sewer line to the citys sewer line in San Antonio. This was a hefty task but they carried it out with ease. When this plumbing service finishes all the required repairs, you can rest assured that your plumbing issues will be a thing of the past. Once the work was done, they tidied up and disposed of all the old pipes. The job also came with a 25-year guarantee on the new sewer line. I highly recommend this team because of their extreme professionalism and high-quality work. Thanks to them for such outstanding work!

We employed Grant & Sons Plumbing to carry out a complete replumbing of our house. Our previous pipes, installed when the house was first built two decades ago, were now outdated and unable to withstand the pressure of modern water flow, causing frequent bursts. We received five quotes and Grant & Sons Plumbing provided the most cost-effective solutions, also boasting excellent reviews. They had previously earned high praise from our neighbors for replumbing many homes in our locality, all with similar issues as ours. Frank, Curtis, and Isaac were professional, and they made sure to keep everything clean, even using a saw with an integrated vacuum to contain the mess. They carefully removed sections of the drywall, labelled them for replacement, and included a subcontractor in their proposal to handle the drywall repair after the plumbing work was completed. This subcontractor did an exceptional job, too. Our home is filled with pets - birds, a dog, a bunny, and fish, and the team was well-informed about how to protect them during the repair process. They also ensured the safety of our furniture, walls, and floors. Despite the extensive nature of the work, they made every effort to cause minimal disruption and allowed us to continue living in our house while the work was being done, which was a significant cost-saving measure. We cant recommend them highly enough!

Santiago was punctual, meticulous, professional, and honest. What stood out about Santiago was his readiness to go above and beyond his regular duties. When he was inspecting my laundry sink, he noticed that my washer and dryer, installed the same day, were not level. He assisted me in leveling the washer and even helped me seal a large gap between the baseboards behind the washer. He is genuinely a great guy. They replaced a damaged cast-iron waste pipe with a PVC one, installed a single-lever shower valve, and also replaced a non-compliant fitting on a toilet waste pipe. Furthermore, they collaborate with a contractor, who takes care of any necessary tile work and sheetrock repairs following the plumbing work, making the whole process convenient and efficient. Despite our limited knowledge about plumbing, they guided us and recommended equipment models to research online. They truly work in partnership with their clients. Their follow-up service was fantastic - they were punctual, flexible with rescheduling as per our request, and ensured the work was completed promptly. Weve employed numerous plumbers over the two decades weve lived in this house, but Isaac and Frank are by far the best weve encountered! If a plumbing issue ever crops up again, they will undoubtedly be our first choice.

However, during the camera inspection, Curtis discovered a segment of plastic pipe before it resumed to being cast iron, indicating there was indeed a cleanout! Just had to drop a review because easton and isaac from this plumbing service are just fantastic! i had been struggling with a tap that all of a sudden seemed to have lost all its pressure. all my other water outlets were working perfectly, but this one tap one day was just dripping. After putting up with it for a long while, i finally decided to call a plumber. Turns out, it was just a tiny little stone caught in the aerator. my own mistake for not checking it and assuming it was a problem with the pipes, but one phone call to these guys made all the difference! mind you, easton and isaac couldve complicated things and sent out a plumber to charge who knows how much just to make a few extra bucks, but instead they offered superb communication and a wonderfully easy and fast solution. all in all, im leaving this review with a whole lot of gratitude for their assistance. I dont often write reviews, but i feel compelled to share my wonderful experience with blake, the plumber who did an exceptional job. i had roots blocking my main sewer line, and he handled the situation very professionally. he was courteous, friendly, and took great care to ensure my home was not damaged in the process. blake hauled in a large snake machine, taking every precaution to protect my carpet and furniture by using plastic and tarps. much appreciated! i had previously hired another local service which unfortunately resulted in a flooded basement and a subsequent professional clean up. however, this time, the experience was completely different and positive. moreover, the cost for the services provided was quite reasonable. all in all, it was a good experience. a big thank you once again!

This morning, i woke up to water gushing down my driveway. i immediately contacted grant & sons plumbing and carter was at my place within 3 hours. he promptly detected the source of the leak, gathered the necessary parts, and re-arranged the poorly installed pipe (originally installed by the builder) to meet plumbing standards. even better, he included a shut off valve, so i can easily turn off the main water supply from my front door if required. my experience with both carter and walter couldnt have been better. walter, the owner, picked up my call and was incredibly friendly and pleasant to converse with. carter portrayed professionalism, was courteous and his workmanship was top-notch. i will undoubtedly rely on their services for all my future plumbing needs!

Our old water heater, which had served us for 20 years, finally broke down last weekend. Initially, I reached out to a plumber who boasted about being available around the clock for emergencies, but after waiting for an hour without any response (the callback came about four hours later), I decided to contact Grant & Sons Plumbing. Much to my relief, they returned my call within 30 minutes. Although they were fully booked until Tuesday, I asked if they could at least assess if my issue could wait until then or if I needed to keep searching for other plumbers. The receptionist put me on hold for a brief period, and then informed me that they would send someone to inspect the problem within two hours. Walter, the plumber from Grant & Sons Plumbing, arrived within the specified time frame. He was highly professional and friendly and promptly started examining my water heater. He identified a leak and suggested that even though a major breakdown wasnt imminent, considering that the heater was twice as old as the average lifespan of its model, it would be wise to consider replacing it. I informed Walter that I had previously received a quote from another service for a tankless heater when I had faced an issue with my current one four months prior. He confirmed that Grant & Sons Plumbing also installed tankless heaters. After inspecting the property, I showed him the previous quote. He mentioned that they used Rinnai heaters instead of Navien (which the earlier quote was for). He then called Frank, to get a quote. A few minutes later, he informed me that they could offer the service for $200 less than the previous quote. Since the heater was to be installed on the houses side, it required a power outlet nearby. Both of them were fantastic, worked diligently, and managed to finish the job an hour ahead of their estimated time, despite the challenging work involved in the crawlspace. The final bill matched the initial estimate without any surprise charges. Weve had the new tankless heater for about 10 days now and are extremely satisfied with it. When I reached out, I had the pleasure of speaking with Easton, one of their managers. Not even an hour later, Curtis, a skilled technician was at my doorstep to assess the situation. Curtis was excellent, he thoroughly explained the process and the time it would take. In fact, they could have finished the job on the same day, but as it was getting late, I opted for the following morning. One night, I had a query and reached out to them. Even though it was undoubtedly past their working hours, Easton returned my call within 5 minutes. Talk about dedication! Needless to say, I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Grant & Sons Plumbing. Both Easton and Curtis were fantastic, and their pricing was quite reasonable. Fantastic and timely same-day service at a fair cost. My kitchen sink was blocked and required an excellent unclogging. Isaac from Grant & Sons Plumbing promptly picked up my call, and arrived within 2 hours in San Antonio. He spent about an hour on the task, successfully removed the blockage, spotted a few other problems, rectified them too, and everything was back in order. Highly recommend their services!
