Gerrod took the time he needed to do the job correctly ( I think). I assume everything was done correctly - I don’t know much about plumbing issues. That is why we hired a professional. I would have preferred replacing the water heater with another Rheem, but the AO Smith brand is OK. I will be more diligent about servicing the unit at least once a year this time around. Hopefully that will help it last longer.

Good experience all around from scheduling the installation to getting a new water heater set up. Our water heater broke almost two weeks ago. They came out the same day to assess the situation and recommended a new unit. They sent the assessment to our home warranty company. Our home warranty companys process was atrocious but I found every interaction we had with the Pipe Doctors staff to be pleasant, helpful and professional. When the install day finally came, 8 days after the initial call, Blair, the tech, removed our old unit and then told me that our new unit wasnt up to par so he took it back, got another one the same day and installed it. He even walked my husband through some upgrades and processes for us to be aware of going forward. I truly appreciate the extreme professionalism of this company and I would recommend them to anyone going through something similar.

Ive had these guys come out a couple of times through our home warranty company and they have been awesome. Both times we had Blair as the technician and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. While I understand it can be a bit of a toss up going through home warranty I was actually very impressed with the speed at which these guys schedule and come out in an emergency situation. Granted both situations ended up being less dire and we didnt need expensive repairs. In the latest scenario we had an outer faucet burst due to inclement weather, Blair was able to get it fixed extremely quickly. At the same time he gave us the rundown of the short term fix versus the long term fix and set us up for success down the road. Based off of the level of professionalism I got from these guys Id probably use them again even outside of our home warranty.

However, we got Beverly and she seems to really know her stuff. Within 30 minutes, she fixed our toilet and sink. She even gave us some advice on our shower too! Not sure about the other technicians, but Beverly was great.

This company came out and really saved our butts. We had been without hot water for two weeks because the initial plumber lied and said a part was ordered, when they showed up with nothing in hand two weeks later…. Needless to say Pipe Dr, came told us what we needed to do, and we did. They were out the next day once we had the parts we needed and fixed it in ten minutes! That saved us over a thousand dollars to replace a brand new water heater, so I cannot thank Josh enough for his wisdom and advice. This will be the only plumber I recommend in the future.

Like many others in San Antonio, we had busted pipes from the unprecedented weather we experienced. I called no less than 15 other plumbing companies who have yet to even call back. Now I do understand they are all very busy right now. Pipe Doctors responded right away and got right over here to fix the problem so we could turn the water back on. A few days later another pipe busted (a Sunday) and they were back out the next day. They sent a text when they were on the way too. The technician was helpful and polite. I will be a customer for life!
