We never had any issues with the plumbing until suddenly nothing would drain and everything was backing up into the shower. They showed up Sunday afternoon (complete with emergency fee) and tried hard to find the issue but couldnt reach it, especially since the original 1970 builder didnt install a cleanout! They came the next morning, dug up the sewer line exit from the foundation, installed a cleanout, and in the process found the problem roots, popped the clog, and removed the issue. These guys arent the cheapest, but I trust their work.

I woke up to a broken shower knob and couldnt shut the water off after showering. I tried to fix it myself, big mistake! Called Smith & Sons Plumbing and the plumber (Chris) arrived within an hour of my call. I live in an old house and expected the plumber to have a difficult time finding replacement parts since the water supply cartridge did not even have a brand name on it. The plumber was back and replaced the parts and even replaced the knobs within an hour. This is the first time I have used this company and I highly recommend Smith & Sons. My parents needed someone to look at their upstairs sink and the piping involved. I called Smith and Sons and the owner, Peter, came over quickly and assessed the issue and gave my parents an explanation about what was going on and how they were going to do their best not have to go through the wall to fix the problem which was what they were worried about. The following day, they reached out and set up an appointment for a time that was convenient for my parents. The plumbers who came over to fix the issue were very thorough and really looked into the best solution for them. They were very happy with the work that was done and I know they will use them again and so will I if I ever need any work done as well. Thank you Smith and Sons! You truly are one of the best plumbing services here in San Antonio.

It was right before the Christmas holiday weekend which made it even more urgent and we were extremely grateful and appreciative, not only of Camden and his assistant; but also of Rebecca’s help to coordinate the appointment. The team did what they could and promised a free camera scope on their return trip, as they were unable to warranty the unclogged blockage due to finding mud in the line. Highly impressed.

Yesterday, they responded to my call about no hot water, and they found tank failure and they diagnosed my broken water heater. They responded quickly with an estimate, and within 2 days had replaced it. A very good experience, and the new one and the connections look great. This company cares about suiting the custormers (mine) needs.

The nearly 80yr house we live in needed to be re-piped due to the extreme age of the metal pipes. The overhaul that was ultimately needed, has been extensive. Smith and sons came out and did an amazing job over 3 days making sure each night we had access to at least one bathroom so the amount of inconvenience was as reduced as possible. The level of communication and professionalism is unparalleled! We are looking to build a new home and are excited to use them in that project in the future. After contacting these guys on a Saturday morning, they told me they would be there approximately one hour after scheduling and they held true to their word. Their technician arrived, was very professional and diagnosed the problem within minutes. He had to leave to pick up some more parts but returned shortly after and fixed the problem. He even did a little extra by repositioning my cut off valve. I would definitely call them again should I need their services in the future and definitely recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.

Started some yard renovations this weekend and ended up breaking a main line while digging. Needless to say there was gonna be a repair needed, I called up Mr. Smith and he was actually finishing another job and said he could be out in a hr or two once he finished at another job. Keep in mind it’s 7 pm on a Saturday, Tbh I didn’t expect anyone out until the next day because it was already the weekend! but he actually came out within about 45 mins fixed my line and had it all done before dark! I really appreciated the customer service and support he gave me and the turnaround time made it that much better! This company by far exceeded my expectations. During the ice storm in February my pipes burst. I used a different company that did a terrible and over priced job and they didnt even fix my outdoor faucets. Camden and I think the other guys name was Isaac were very professional and friendly. They answered any questions I had. I would use them again if I have any other issues. My 15+ year old 80-water heater quit working. I reached out to the company for an initial estimate and the owner quickly agreed to stop by on his way home. He got the old water heater working and gave me some tips to try and fix it myself and did not charge me for the inspection , estimate, or the DIY repair advice .After about a month, it finally died, and I hired these guys to install my new water heater which I found elsewhere. {Long story, but I wanted an 80-gallon water heater, which can be ridiculously expensive now.)Camden and his helper, Robert, did the install. They called when they were on their way; they quickly got to work when they arrived; and they works diligently to get the water heater in and up and running.. They worked quickly and were very respectful and pleasant,! Good guys!

This man and his business are unbelievably unbeatable. Peter Smith and his “sons” are not only professional in their work, but they have that spark of joy characteristic of a Chik-Fil-A employee. My wife and I have used him exclusively for our acreage’s plumbing; he is unbeatable in prices AND quality of work — he offers some of the best prices in San Antonio, while preforming the work of a true Master Plumber!I cannot recommend Smith and Sons enough! I dare you too look elsewhere; nothing you find will beat Smith and Sons.

Was struggling to find a plumber that could get the job done right and wouldnt hit me over the head with pricing. Had people come out, do shady work and went through two different other plumbers before I came across a Mr. Peter Smith who came over promptly and finally got the job done CORRECTLY!! I spent weeks fighting with plumbers that the problem kept reoccurring and Smith and sons came out and resolved my problem within a days time!! If youre looking to have things done efficiently and with care give these guys a shout!! You will be more than happy as I was with not just the quality work they provided but with the can do attitude and knowledge that they brought to the table as well.
