Great customer service from start to finish. The sales rep took his time and answered all of my questions. He tested the water and explained the different options available based on the results. I feel like the product sold itself but I also appreciated that he didnt try to push the more expensive model. I was able to get the water softener installed 2 days later. The tech was quick and efficient, and again patiently answered all of my questions. It took about an hour and a half to install. Alamo followed up the next day to make sure everything went well. I highly recommend this company for their outstanding customer service and quality water softeners.

Ive been wanting a water purification system, I thought they were too espensive. I am so happy I went through Lowes to install it. The Alamo Water team came out to my home with determination to set my system up. They also replaced my water heater. In 3 hours they were finished and everything worked perfectly. I even got the under the sink purifier for drinking. I cant wait to feel the soft water on my body. This is another great investment for my home and health.

I recently had my water softener replaced by Alamo Water Softeners. I contacted them through Lowes, and they scheduled an initial visit within twelve hours. I received four bids for this work, and although the machines were essentially identical, the commitment to the customer was not. Alamo Water Softeners is the only business of this nature that offers a lifetime warranty that is transferable. This is a significant advantage for homeowners today. Another factor that heavily influenced my decision in their favor is that they are a veteran-owned and -operated business with a long history of serving the San Antonio community and southeast Texas. When the salesperson arrived to assess my problem, he was direct, pleasant, and professional. After promptly identifying the issue, he confirmed the diagnosis with on-site water testing and provided resolution options. He also installed a whole-house filter that I already owned at no additional charge and offered a generous veterans discount. The bids I received were all within $1000 of each other, and Alamo Water Softeners was neither the cheapest nor the most expensive. They provided the best product for my needs at a reasonable price. From the time I contacted Lowes for installation and sales until the installation was complete, less than 36 hours elapsed, with only 23 hours between sales and installation. The costs involved were somewhat surprising, but I am entirely satisfied with the service and equipment I received. I recommend Alamo Water Softeners to anyone who requires water softener replacement or repair.

Randall was the AWS specialist scheduled to perform my 3 yr checkup on our water softener system. As an AWS customer, it was an option to get this done and I chose to do it since I had already invested in it when I initially bought it. For me, knowing everything was still in excellent working order, was a plus. I plan to sell my home soon and the warranty on the system would just transfer over adding a tad more value to the home. David, Andy, and their crew did a phenomenal job from start to finish. The house I bought in 2019 came with a AWS water softener that was over 10 years old. The previous owner did zero maintenance on it, and one night the resin released into my entire plumbing system. AWS came out the next day and put in a brand new system and made sure I was taken care of. I came home on a Thursday and noticed water leaking in our garage. Our very old soft water system had finally given out. We weren’t sure who to call but after looking on Google, we chose AWS because of the large number of positive reviews and satisfied customers. From the first phone call on Thursday, things moved quickly. On Friday, the salesperson met with me, and by Saturday at 5pm, we had a brand new soft water system installed. The installer showed up right on time and completed the job in about an hour. It was an incredibly easy and efficient process. Thank you, AWS, for making this such a smooth experience!

Showed up on time. Very professional for a young crew. Got the job done. Went over the controls and how they work. Cleaned up the area and offered to up clean the driveway of any salt residue that was left over from the previous water softener since there was water still in it after it was drained. It was such a miniscule amount that I did it myself but I appreciated the offer. Also, made in TX for TX hard water. Not made in China which is even better.

Installers Isaac and Austin showed up on time, explained the process and started working. They were very professional, courteous and respectful. The installation took about 9 hrs, which included under the kitchen sink reverse osmosis kit, outside water softener unit in a shed provided by the AWS. They also had to put the water/drain lines in since our house did not have a pre-installed loop. They even used the existing landline phone portal from outside to inside (we don’t use the landline phone ) to power the outside unit; no ugly extension cord. See the pictures. They did an excellent job.Initial visit by the customer relations person/water specialist Cheri G. was also great. She has been very responsive to all our questions prior to installation. The financing was very easy as well.We are very happy with the water quality at the moment. Overall, great product and great process. Thank you AWS.

Fantastic work from Alamo Water Softeners. They were professional and sent text messages prior to arriving, during the work, and leaving the home. We had a circumstantial water leak from a certain network company installing fiber in our neighborhood that pled no fault. Alamo Water Softeners came out the same day, evaluated the issue and replaced the old pipe that led from the water meter by the side walk to the emergency shutoff valve by the house for an extremely reasonable price. They even replanted the flowers. Would recommend to a friend or neighbor.

The guys were very professional. Only two things are wrong. But its not the guys that did the install. The drinking water was not what we ordered and the salt tank is not the size we were told. Brush nickel is what the drinking water fosite is what we order. But all in all the guys were great 👍.

He was able to schedule me earlier in the day, and I arrived at the time he estimated. Upon arriving, Justin informed me of the installation process, and verified that our installation was expected. Once he finished the installation, I was very pleased with the quality of plumbing, and the overall set up. Justin had to move a few things around, but he ensured to be careful and return things to the proper places when finished. He also cleaned up spills, and any trash that was created.Overall, I am highly satisfied, and I recommend Lowes and Alamo Water Softeners to all.

Two days if you consider the phone call, appraisal and install. We have been looking to do a water softener and reverse osmosis system the last two years. Our local Pleasanton, Texas, water is super hard. We went from water quality of 187 down to 25! What a massive difference.Our salesman and install workers were great. Last week my water softener failed after 18 years. I called the national company that did the initial installation on Friday night leaving a detailed message. I never got and still haven’t (7 days) been contacted. I had heard a local San Antonio company advertising on WOAI but couldn’t remember the name so I called the station for the name - ALAMO WATER SOFTENERS. I called them disclosing my leak and they sent someone out that Tuesday afternoon. We installed a more modern and superior system on Friday by a very competent young man trained and employed for almost 2 years. He explained new system and got it all done in slightly over 2 hours. I highly recommend this company for quality people, workmanship and life time products.

I called Alamo to have the resin changed in the tank. They were out on Friday and replaced the resin as requested. The plumber that was here was going to leave without checking that everything was working but I asked him to verify it was softening the water. Turns out it wasnt because he forgot to turn the system out of bypass. All was good until Friday evening when we lost water pressure at the Kitchen sink, one bathroom and washing machine. I called them Saturday morning and insisted they come same day and fix the problem. Wayne and another gentleman showed up, looked at the system and started correcting it. Within 90 minutes, all was good and I had higher pressure in the kitchen than ever before. Some of the new, or old, resin had escaped into the system and they got it out.Thanks guys, you did a hell of a job and thanks AWS for taking care of this quickly. We went from a not too happy customer to a 5 star review in about 12 hours!

Gave us a good quote for the work and explained that the service call price paid for this visit would be put towards the price of getting a new PRV with Alamo Water Softeners. We went with AWS to replace the PRV. Austin and John (truck #111) came out and changed out the valve. They were extremely professional and replaced the unit within an hour of showing up. They explained what they were doing and educated me on the fact that a home owner should replace their PRV every 5-6 years. The one they replaced was much older and fell apart as they were working on removing it. Im very happy with the work and information Austin and John provided. I purchased a water softener from Alamo Water Softeners and a crew was able to come out and install the system within a couple days.The install ended up costing me an extra $600 because the original salesman incorrectly assessed that the installation would be an attic drop however the installation crew found that not to be the situation and ended up having to dig a ditch for the installation. In total….I ended up paying around $1500 for the install. That seemed a little steep, but I really have nothing to compare it against.The installation seemed to go well once the crew got going The crew did a good job with the installation. I would have liked them to do a better job cleaning up the digging work outside. They left a lot of large rocks and debris around the ditches that cut through my yard. For the expensive installation, I would have expected a better clean up job. In the plus side, they arrived on time and completed the work in one day.My final complaint and it may be a bit frivolous, bur I spent nearly $3500 on the system and install. Before leaving, the crew put two bags of salt (1/2 of its required salt) in the system. I think I expected that they would fill it up. Similar to buying a new car and the dealership only gives you a half tank of gas.Despite these complaints, I would still recommend the company based on their timeliness, friendly employees, and quality of their product.

The tank had to be outside the house and they were able to dig a trench from one side of the house to the other, under the hot Texas sun, so that the system was out of sight and in a place that made sense for us. I mentioned to Isah that my MIL wanted to have a garden that happened to be where the water line goes into the house, so he set up second water spout so that she could water the plants with the unfiltered water. We needed to replace the softener because the old softener stopped working . I heard the advertisement on KTSA and texted to see if they serviced my area since I don’t live in San Antonio. I read the reviews online and decided to text them. Everyone involved , the office staff, Sierra, to the technician, Bishop, was friendly and professional. The service manager, David P. made sure everything was working properly and adjusted some items that needed to be fixed. I am so pleased that I called Alamo because their service has been outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs their service. Caleb did an excellent job installing our water conditioning system! He made sure I understood all the shut off knobs ect. I would suggest that Alamo give the install techs a shop vac & encourage them to clean up after their install. There was granite splattered all over the counter, cabinets, front of my oven & anything else in range of where he had to make the hole in our counter to install the new spout. Then there was wet granite & residue left under the sink. Luckily, we have a silicone liner to protect the inside cabinet. However, if other customers don’t have a barrier I could see it being messy to clean up on the inside of the cabinets & it could stain the inside of the cabinets.
