    My AC unit ended up going out this summer a few weeks ago. I had Metro come and give me an estimate. Dave came out the next day, was friendly, knowledgeable. He explained the sizes, types of the units. Was not pushy or tried to up sell anything. The estimate came itemized with prices if I chose to upgrade and the cost of that. A few days later Austin and Ben arrived to remove and install the new unit! Austin was friendly respectful of home and property. I believe he was training Ben in and was explaining and helping him during the install. Austin had it running in no time. Left the house and site clean. Highly recommend Metro!

    We had a weird noise from our kitchen faucet, and Metro Heating and Cooling and Plumbing quickly gave us an appointment to get it checked out on a holiday week. Jesse was able to rapidly diagnose and repair the issue with professionalism and friendliness, a really kind person.     Metro Heating came to install a new furnace pump at my house. They were able to get me scheduled in 3 days, had great communication, were on time within the window of time they gave me. Brian was friendly, a great communicator and got the job done quickly. I believe this company has won my future business. Also, they are very reasonably priced compared to their competitors.     My furnace stopped working last night, so I called Metro heating and cooling today and was offered an afternoon appointment. The technician Brian quickly assessed the issue and had the needed part on his truck. He got the part installed and double checked that everything was in working and explained what repair he made. It was such a relief to have my furnace back in working order, especially with the weather turning cold. Brian was absolutely great to work with and I highly recommend Metro Heating and cooling and will use them again in the future.

    We have built a strong relationship with Metro Heating & Cooling. In the last year they have installed a humidifier, a furnace and air conditioner. The furnace and AC were installed this week after our furnace of 24 years died. We worked with Mike, Josh A, Keith and Drake to get this done swiftly. Not only do they do great work, they explain things in laymans terms that we can understand, and they are not pushy. I could not recommend them more. They do great work and the techs and office staff are super friendly.

    Our 20 yo furnace has only one job, heat the house. It wasn’t doing the one thing it’s supposed to do. We called Metro who we’ve used in the past for plumbing and AC installation.Brian came out and was completely cool with hearing what had happened up to the point of the furnace taking its vacation. He dug into it, got it back to work, and explained what was happening. He gave us options on how we could proceed. AWESOME!!!As always Metro did a great job for us. Thx!

    I called Metro due to my water heater leaking water. Metro sent out Keith and Josh and they were very professional. They installed my new water heater in a timely manner very respectful even noticed them taking their shoes off when going on my carpet in the basement gotta love the respect! They demonstrated urgency to locate and install the next day, fitting us into their busy schedule which was the first real day of snow and cold.     Our heat went out a few days ago, and we had them out to take a look. The guy that came over was very friendly and straight to the point. He showed me everything he was doing and even predicted the problem before really digging into it. He not only figure out the problem but he explained everything in detail. Although the end result is a pricey new furnace, the service provided was excellent and the pricing was cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Would highly recommend them for servicing furnaces!

    I had Metro Heating & Cooling out to do my air conditioning. They did a fantastic job at a great price. They were able to replace the A/C and furnace for 1/2 of what I was quoted by 3 other companies. They had to special order the unit to get one that would fit in the space I had.     Im not usually a leave a review on Google guy but Mike from Metro that came out to do our service was outstanding! He was very kind, the staff in scheduling the appointment were great, and overall it was nothing but a positive experience. Im a liver transplant patient whos been in and out of the hospital a lot recently and they were super accommodating about wearing masks and being respectful. Will definitely call again if I have issues in the future!

    Metro Heating & Cooling just replaced my old mini-split, improving capacity, features and energy efficiency. Phillip did my install and did an awesome job! The unit looks incredible and its clear he takes pride in his work! Well done Phillip.This is not my first experience with Metro H&C. Two years ago, they installed a new hot water boiler and hot water heater in my home. The following summer they were back to upgrade all the outdoor faucets to frost free. And every time I have had them at my home, it has been a positive experience and Ive been extremely satisfied with the results.This company will continue to be a place I call when I need help with Heating, Cooling and Plumbing issues in my home.

    Easily the best experience I’ve had with a service company. I stumbled on Metro when I desperately needed hvac help and 3 other companies all said I needed an entire replacement. They fixed the issue for 1% the cost I was told. After that good experience, I figured I’d call again for help with myplumbing needs. But get this:I had to ensure a prompt plumber arriving exactly when he said he would, work that took all of 27 minutes and he played with my dogs. I’m sure Mitch is uncomfortable with the word hero but it’s appropriate.I just became a subscriber for their service program because their dedication and service is entirely worth it. 15/10 would call again.

    Super efficient process — Roy from Metro came out & gave us a bid for a Central Air Conditioner replacement on a Friday, answered questions via email messages over the weekend, and we called Monday to schedule. Their install TEAM came out Monday afternoon to get it done! Carlos and Josh A. did a great job getting us back up & running with a new unit. Weve used Metro in the past for a furnace replacement, too - we highly recommend.

    I called on Friday and Metro Heating and Cooling had someone out on Monday to do a rental license safety check. My old gravity heat octopus style furnaces were no problem for Lucy the technician.     They did a great job-once again! I had Richard and Josh replace the water heater. Previously they had replaced AC units and plumbing. They were on time, cleaned up, and even played with my dogs. Im very impressed with the company and the service Ive received.

    I had a 75 gallon water heater installed when I completed a two story addition. It lasted 16 years, but started to leak. I decided to replace it with a tankless water heater. After getting estimates from five different plumbing outfits, I chose Metro to do the job at a more reasonable price structure, which provided an 18 month no-interest loan on the balance after my down payment. The work was completed by Phil and Josh A., who obviously knew what they were doing and exceeded my expectations. They both worked at a steady pace and everything was done in a very precise and orderly manner...along with cleaning up after. I highly recommend Metro H & C, along with Phil and Josh A. Kudos to all!

    I had a great experience with Metro Heating and Cooling. I am an engineer and built my own house so am picky / skeptical when it comes service & support companies, preferring to just do things myself. However, with age, I am finding less umph for DIY. Dave the sales guy was very helpful recommending a new mini split AC unit. Josh A, the installer, impressed me with his abilities and well reasoned approach. Attention to detail was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

    Our water heater stopped working yesterday after 24 years (owner never replaced and we should have checked before we bought our townhome). We got scheduled the next day with Richard, who called bright and early to let me know he would be here in 20 minutes. He arrived promptly, was so polite. The job took a couple of hours (fast) and my first time with Metro Heating and Cooling was amazing- thank you Richard! He was also very clean (laid down cloth) to not scrape/dirty floors which I appreciated. Will be using them again in the future.

    Ive had Metro out for 2 separate jobs in the past few months. They were out for seasonal maintenance on my (very old) AC unit. The tech came out, did what he said he was there for, suggested i replace one small (relatively inexpensive) piece and that was it. No big up-selling or pressure as Ive experience with other companies.This week, I had them out to replace a toilet. The plumber showed up, thought he could save some money with a fix (which I agreed he should do) and he tried to fix it. The fix didnt work and he was back the next day and replaced the toilet. I was only charged for the new toilet (they credited the cost of the fix).I will need a new furnace and AC in the next few years. I will be calling Metro.

    Water heater went out last Friday and we wanted to replace with a tankless unit. Matt was extremely responsive on the front end assessment, talked us through options, and ASAP scheduling. The real “gem” in the replacement was Andrew S. who was out today for the install. Our utility space is extremely tight and Andrew had the vision to readjust the configuration of the water softener and salt tank to maximize the room for both units, alleviate issues I had with the room, and ultimately allowed for better flow & maintenance access for all. With this layout - the piping (water & gas) was run extremely “clean” and very well done. I will definitely call Metro again and would ask for Andrew S for sure…. 5 stars. Thanks!!!

    Called Metro about replacing leaking water heater and shutoff valve. Jesse did an outstanding job replacing the shutoff valve and drained the water heater for the replacement on Labor Day weekend. After Labor Day the replacement water heater was installed by Charlie, who was polite, efficient and explained each step.

    Metro Plumbing, Heating and Air was great. Pricing was fair and competitive. And the service was prompt. Jeremiah Wolff was the tech who came to do an inspection for our air unit. Jeremiah was professional, polite, and friendly. My mother, the home owner, is 92, confused and very hard of hearing. He was absolutely wonderful with her, very patient, spoke clearly and loud enough for her to hear.He explained everything he did, and what he found and his suggestions, and gave us options!     From beginning to end of my furnace installation (Goodman) I was very pleased with the entire process. The number of times I called the office every one was very pleasant and answered my questions which satisfied me completely. The installers Al, Ryan and Tyler arrived on time Thursday morning 12/3/20, actually a little earlier then mentioned the day before, which was fine with me. All three guys were very pleasant to deal with from answering my questions about the installation/furnace to just general conversation. I watched the entire installation, not that I was concerned about their work, they were very professional, but intrigued myself of how it would be completed. Al was very attentive in the work Ryan and Tyler were doing, assisted both in their work answering questions. When they were done the area was cleaned up swept, trash removed, etc... The completed project looked better then the old furnace install. Because of how pleased I am with how Metro Heating & Air handled my purchase/installation. I do plan on calling for a new central air to also be installed. The two old units are 27 years old. Thanks Metro for a great experience!!

    Our very old furnace went out while we were out of town. Classic! Metro Heating & Cooling diagnosed the problem, gave us a competitive bid to install a new, high-efficiency furnace in our old house ($5,700, including the installation of two stories of new venting), and performed a tricky install—all within about 36 hours. The new furnace operates perfectly. Metro Heatings team that worked with us (Travis, Corey, Austin, Andrew, Keith, and Amy) were swift, professional, and had excellent communication throughout.And actually, we got another comparable bid for the project from another HVAC company, and when we told them we went with Metro Heating, they said even though they were competitors, they respect Metro Heatings work and that wed made a good decision. We will absolutely be relying on them for all our HVAC work in the future.

    We needed to get a new boiler and had multiple places come out to do a bid. Not only was Metro the best value, but they were so easy to work with. Andrew S and Josh A were our two technicians, and they did a fantastic job. Then, once they finished, Andrew didnt laugh at us (at least not to our faces) when we had him give us a step by step guide on how to do everything with our new boiler. (We took copious notes and, again, he didnt laugh.) Our new boiler takes up SO much less space, is energy efficient, and were so pleased with our experience with Metro Heating and Cooling.

    Metro replaced both our water heater and furnace this year, and their service has been impeccable from beginning to end. We had Philip and Keith in today to replace our very old furnace, and they were so polite, efficient, and professional. It can be odd to have strangers in your home, especially when you have young children, but they were great and a joy to have around, honestly.     Eric came out and evaluated our needs and presented a thorough and favorable solution.     My experience was terrific from first to last. MH&C was referred to me by my handyman (Renaissance Man LLC) and it was definitely a good one. Dave Bomgren looked at my current system and gave me good options for estimates. He was very professional and explained what was needed. We communicated via email, and once I got the estimates I added a couple of components and Dave had new quotes back to me within an hour or two. Once we settled on a package, the scheduler contacted me within minutes!!At my home Rick and Alex were great to work with. Very professional and friendly. Rick looked everything over and explained what they were going to do and how they would be going about it. They took good care to keep the work area clean, and I completely trusted them enough for me to head to work and let them close up the house when they were finished. The work is neat and looks well done.I have a second furnace to replace in a few years, and these are the guys Ill be going to again!

    My AC Was dead upon starting this spring, I called Metro, I was recommended by the maintenance engineer at my work. I had 3 contractors picked out, Dave was awesome in making it clear what I was getting. I even cancelled my last contractor appointment. Install date, right on time, TJ and Jacob professionally installed a high efficient AC and furnace in 7 hours. Clean, awesome looking installation. I would highly recommend!!

    Our hot water/boiler system started to break down over New Years weekend. Metro was able to quickly start with the hot water side of things, and they skillfully kept our old boiler limping along through the coldest weekend of the season until we could schedule the install a couple of days later.Quite simply its a pleasure to work with everyone at Metro! From the time they answer the phone, working with the scheduler (thanks Amy!), and getting a boiler tech out on a Saturday (thanks Tim!), all the way through to the install, it was great working with a pleasant, helpful, and very informative group of people.     We are very pleased with our decision to have Metro Heating & Cooling for our furnace & A/C maintenance. Metro used to service us through Xcel HomeSmart and we did not have confidence in the replacement HVAC company they were sending to our home. Now Xcel uses Home Serve, so was a good time to make a change.When we called we had a furnace concern related to going too long without maintenance. Courtney signed us up for the residential maintenance plan and sent out a HVAC tech same-day. We are relieved to find the source of the problem had confidence that Jesse knew what he was doing. Our furnace was serviced & he answered our questions.We never had confidence in HomeSmart’s HVAC technicians after they stopped using Metro Heating & Cooling. We decided to see if Metro has a maintenance plan, they do, and we are pleased to have them provide HVAC service again. Thank you!

    Metro Heating & Plumbing FOR THE WIN! We had two gas leaks and a dripping shower head. I called late in the day on Monday, and they were able to send Richard out first thing Tuesday morning. Richard was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to complete a fairly complicated job quickly and at a very fair price. We had had a quote done from another large company for our shower issue - they had said theyd need to rip out the entire wall and it would be a several thousand dollar job. Richard suspected all that was needed was a small part replacement - and he was right! He saved us a ton of money and no more drips! He also went above and beyond with the gas leak issues. Metro will absolutely be our go-to for services in the future.

    I used this business for the first time because I will no longer use Hero. It was recommended to me by a friend. Glad I called. Jaylen, Metro’s service person, was professional, thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He performed routine maintenance on my boiler and noted that it had been installed incorrectly missing certain valves, etc. He was able to repair part of the boiler system and did a work around the remaining problems that saved me $600 plus dollars. I will use Metro again. It’s nice knowing someone worked on my boiler who knows what he is doing! My next call to Metro will be for plumbing issues! I trust the company.

    I had a great experience working with Metro on a large remodeling project in my house that included moving several radiators, replacing the old radiator supply lines, adding a range hood, exhaust fan, and a few other things. After calling 6 or 7 places I was referred to Metro by another company that wasn’t able to help me. Metro was able to come out within a few hours (they weren’t the cheapest I found but they were very reasonable). Jalen came on time and fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. Then he made sure it was fixed, spending a few extra minutes doublechecking everything. He also offered to clean my AC unit, at a cost, but when I said no and asked if I could do it myself he said yes and explained in detail what I needed to do. He reminded me at the end of my appointment that I needed to do it soon to ensure I didn’t cause damage to the part I replaced. With his instruction I was able to do it in less than an hour. 12/10 would recommend to anyone.

    I’ve used metro for 3 different jobs and each one, they have done an amazing job. Always on time and they make sure they do the job right. The water softener job took a little longer than usually but that was because they did the installation the correct way. Ac install took half a day! Arrived by 830 and were done by 1130, they were also able to schedule me within 2 weeks of accepting the proposal. No surprise fees either.

    We called Metro to schedule a new AC install and we were able to get someone out for a quote less than a week later and then the install scheduled very soon after, it was perfectly on time for the hot humid weather and we were so grateful.     My water heater tank went out right before Christmas. Called a couple of places and decided to go with Metro heating & Cooling. Phillip arrived and had the old one out and new one installed in no time. He updated the old valves to code, walked me through what all the valves were for and how to re-pilot the tank if needed. I had so many questions and he was so patient and listened to all of my concerns. Having no hot water in the dead of Winter was a completely humbling experience.     Metro HVAC is top tier in all ways. One concern I have about the big companies is that a lot of them over-charge, but I will say that every bid Ive gotten from Metro on large projects has been very competitive. Recently needed a water heater repair and they were out there within hours and had the problem fixed. $135 base charge for the call + labor (no parts needed) which is also very reasonable in my opinion.

    I hired Metro H&C to replace our original furnace and AC from 1992. Dave, a sales rep, came out first to assess and to explain to me options and procedures. Very professional and knowledgeable. I then received a quote via email with two options for furnace and AC replacement. I decided on the premium options and made an appointment for the installation on 6/11/2018. The technician crew was very professional and did a great job with the installation. All the new equipment is working as expected. All in all what I expected and Id recommend the company to anyone who asks.

    The guys from Metro Heating and Cooling were amazing! The process of getting a quote and setting up the install was super quick and easy. The quote came in way under what any of the competitors could offer. All of the staff was very professional and knowledgeable, and they were able to get our new A/C unit installed in just half a day. Our breaker box was a little odd (old house problems) and the electrician was able to problem solve to get the panel set up for our new A/C with no problems. I cannot recommend these guys enough - they truly do great work at an affordable price.

    Had someone come out in June for an estimate to replace my AC, furnace, and water heater (all of which were 25+ years old and malfunctioning). Despite being affordable we waited until November to have them out to replace everything due to our financial situation. I appreciated that the company honored the 5 month old estimate without hesitation. The service men who came out to handle my extensive project were amazing. Their professionalism really went above and beyond my expectations. These guys were so nice, helpful, and respectful while in my home. I was really impressed by them. They even cleaned my disgusting utility closet without me mentioning it, which I cannot thank them for enough. They adhered to covid mask policies, distancing, didnt leave a mess, and were nice to my cats. I cant recommend them enough!

    The nonprofit I lead is located in a house that has been renovated and so has two furnaces. Mike Devaney came out a couple of weeks ago to service both of the furnaces in the house. He is professional, friendly and didnt judge me for not changing the filters often enough! He helped me figure out a way to be more proactive with replacing them.We operate basic needs distributions out of our garage and so have a small electric furnace in there that wasnt part of the annual maintenance visit a couple of weeks ago and stopped working out of the blue yesterday. Mike D was sent again today and fixed it so fast and for a second time, didnt judge me for the state of the filters! It was thankfully an easy fix and he gave the furnace the once over and said it was in good shape. He is easy to work with and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend him and Metro for all HVAC work!

    Ive had great experience with Metro Heating every time Ive called. Had an emergency call-out last winter and they got my old furnace up and running quickly. Decided this summer that it was time to upgrade the furnace-- they explained my options and how to best even-out the temperature in my split-level home (some were easy/ no-cost fixes to the return vents). Easy sales process and they didnt push anything. The install team (Al and Matt) called to let me know their schedule, covered the floors and cleaned up after themselves. Great experience.

    Metro Heating & Cooling installed a new hot water boiler and hot water heater in my home on the same day. Mark Brady & Andrew Shock worked great together as a team and finished the job ahead of schedule. The set up and layout of the new units looks great and the workmanship is excellent!I also dealt with Nick, who took my first call, after 4 other plumbing companies told me they could not send a tech to my home 2 days before Christmas to troubleshoot my existing systems issues. Nick told me I can have someone there tomorrow morning to take a look, which was December 23rd! Brain showed up on the 23rd, on time and was a great resource to diagnose the issues with my very dated system and draw up a plan to move forward. Roy came out to my house to draw up a proposal for the new system based on the needs and measurements of my home and was easy to deal with. My experience with Metro was a positive one at every step of this process.I am glad that Nick was able to take my call on the afternoon of December 22nd, and fit me into the schedule before the Christmas Holiday.     Micah was so great with scheduling my water heater install. I had a lot of questions and concerns moving from a tankless to a tank unit and he answered every question calmly and with incredible patience.When I scheduled the install my tech was Andrew. He was far and above the best repairman I have had in my home. In the downtime we had while waiting he basically showed me how every system worked in my house. After the water heater was installed he went above and beyond to make sure I understood how it worked.     Andrew S and Ryan G replaced a boiler for my radiant heated 3 zone system and retrofitted 2 wall mounted radiators in place of baseboard units which were inadequate in heating master bedroom. They were on time, careful of just completed painting job when installing new radiators and did a clean and tidy install from start to finish. Fired up system, bled air from system and made sure all controls worked properly. Would definitely recommend Metro and shout out to estimator Roy as well for taking the initiative to calculate btus needed to both size the new boiler and radiators. Finally system works correctly. Numerous other contractors have failed to diagnose/fix my heating problems over 30 years. All they are interested in doing is selling equipment or replacing parts with little understanding of how radiant systems should work. Metro did the job right the first time. Thank you to Roy, Andrew and even Ryan!

    My technician John was extremely thorough and professional. He was able to repair the unit efficiently and also pointed out potential future trouble areas to be on the lookout for. He did safety checks and gave me reassurance about my decision to continue using the furnace safely. He also took measurements so that I could get updated quotes for replacement. John gave me extra information about adjusting my thermostat and getting my ducts cleaned (which I already had scheduled) to make sure I was getting the most efficient and cost effective service. On his way out he he even moved a large package into the house for me - very much appreciated!!! I would definitely recommend Metro and their technicians, Ive had nothing but great experiences with everyone at their company!

    I had 5 different people quote replacing two furnaces and two ac units in my house. This Metro had the best price. They got me in quickly and did a nice job with the install. I am a engineer and I am picky but they put it together nicely. It was a complex job with three thermostats, zone control and a tight space to work in.I also had them install a water softener at the same time, which unfortunately failed after two weeks and caused plumbing issues in my house. I called them on a Sunday and they responded right away and had two plumbers out to repair the issue and check everything else out in the house. Things happen when doing big jobs - its how a company responds to these issues that set them apart. I will definitely use Metro again and have referred them to many others.

    They were great! We bought are house last spring and wanted a routine maintenance to be done on it this October before it got to cold. A red tag was put on the boiler and were we stuck without heat. After a few other quotes we meet with Metro. They were one of the best priced quotes we got.When we scheduled them to replace the boiler it was during a cold spell, so every heating company was booked for maintenance calls. But their scheduler was able to get a crew together to come out earlier to get our heat going. They came and worked past the business hours to get it done. My wife was so happy!Our house has heat and the process and working with them was great!And a funny note, I was calling the list of companies we got quotes from to tell them we went with someone else. I was not thinking and called Metro to cancel. The lady was a bit confused and asked me multiple times if I was sure. I was not connecting the dots that I had called Metro, even though she said so. I canceled the appointment for them to come and replace my boiler. But not 5 minutes after this Dave, who I had been working with calls me and ask if I meant to cancel. I realized my mistake and said no. To which point he thought it was in error and he had the scheduler keep it on the calendar until he was able to confirm with me.     Only a small job. Just had a leaky outside tap. Tech showed up and replaced a washer to stop the leak but still need a new tap that would require cutting up the drywall inside - a $595 estimate. Thats all fine, but I found this company via an add in the mail with a $30 off any repair coupon. The terms were to present coupon at the time of service, which I did while the tech was still here, but after he ran my card. He said I would have to call the office to get the credit. After 2 calls, the manager finally called back to say he would NOT be giving me a credit because the card company charges them too much. I asked about a check, but he said they dont write checks. When I asked how much they would be charged to credit me the $30, he said $15, so I asked him to split the difference and credit me $15. He promised me he would do it. I suspected that he was blowing me off and would never follow thru. So far it has been over 10 days and NO credit. Needless to say, I will be finding a different plumbing company to replace the tap next spring.Chapter 2: They came through with a $50 credit. Apparently it was an honest oversight which I totally understand. All is forgiven.
