I had called Dave about a plumbing issue, after some discussion and my approval he quickly scheduled a date and time to address the problems. When he arrived he immediately went to work to replace tub drain, stopper and trap making sure everything was resolved upon completion.He also offered suggestions and made sure I had no questions. Prior to leaving I spoke to him about a potentially leaking faucet, Dave gave a day hed give me a call back and he did!!Dave is a reliable, efficient, fair plumber and an overall great guy! I have used Daves service 2 times in the last year. Dave is very responsive, quick when doing repairs and installations but pays very close attention to detail when completing the work. Dave repaired my crooked plumbing under my kitchen sink last year and this year, replaced my toilet, as well as unhooking the gas to my stove so I could have new flooring done. Dave took the time to explain details and provide education to me about the work he was doing, which I appreciated. Dave is very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend him for any job big or small.

Just had an excellent experience with Big Daves Plumbing. We just moved into a new house and are swapping from a gas range to an electric range so we needed the previous gas line capped. He completed that quickly and efficiently and then was able to do a brief walkthrough of the plumbing in the whole house to talk through his opinion of any potential problem areas. Im very glad we hired him and would 100% use his services in the future.

Dave helped us install a new faucet. While he was here he identified several other problems with our kitchen sink that he was abe to fix quickly. He was quick to respond to questions and wanted to make sure we knew what he was doing and why. He also wanted to show us how we could fix these problems ourselves if they came up again in the future. Id highly recommend his services to anyone!

We hired Dave to do a Gas Dryer install and he was phenomenal. He was transparent in pricing and was the only plumber that was willing to give an estimate for how many billable hours he expected to have. The job actually cost less than he had estimated and was friendly throughout. As first time home owners it was reassuring to know it was done correctly the first time. (I called everyone in St. Paul and nearby areas.Only PipeRight was as clear in their pricing, but Dave was significantly more affordable.)If you are looking for quality service at an affordable price, Big Daves Plumbing is the best choice.

He was very nice and pleasant and had the work done within the amount of time he predicted. Once finished, he showed me what was done and asked if I had any questions. I have hired Big Daves Plumbing to do two MAJOR repairs and I cant say enough about Dave. His skill and knowledge, customer service, pricing, and speed at getting the job done are all at ten stars. He is an all around great guy who listens to the customer and offers options rather than just telling you what he will do. Trust me. We maintain over 430 rental properties and I have had my share of bad plumbers. You wont go wrong with this guy. He has become our go-to plumber.

Dave is very professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Dave replaced my sump pump very quickly and gave me some helpful tips on how to maintain it. Dave then asked me if I was worried about any other plumbing needs. I told him I had a leaky pipe in my upstairs bathroom sink. Dave identified the problem right away and fixed it for me! I highly recommend Dave for your plumbing needs. 5 star plumber all around!

I just moved into the area, and was given Big Daves name by a friend of mine. Ive used him every since March. He is wonderful and my go to plumber! I highly recommend him. He fixed my toilets and tubs - and sinks, and installed a kitchen sink soap dispenser (and removed a kitchen sink water filter). He also gave me tips on my sump pump hose, fixed leaks in dripping faucets and installed a new kitchen faucet. The man does everything and he is wonderful at it. Prices are fair. :)

So Dave was amazing! I am a newer home owner. An i was pretty frustrated with calling arounr to plummers. Untill i found dave, most places. (Big corporations) want to charge you just to look at yr home. Dave worked with me during these crazy times an was very patience with me. He even showed me a few thing an educated me on things. Daves a good guy an fixed my broken pipe in no time! Highly recommend him!

Excellent. Went to Big Daves based on google reviews and was very happy- came and examined my leaking sink, told me what to buy for replacement faucet and came back the next day and installed it. Did not charge a second trip charge! Reasonable rates, professional service - cleans up after the job - will use him again and easily would recommend his service!

It was down to 3 plumbers and Dave was my pick because of the following:-He was able to give me a ballpark estimate over the phone. Many of the other plumbers wanted to charge $60-$100 for a visit where they would then give me an estimate. This was to add a water line so that my new fridge could dispense ice and drinking water.-He was not asking me what other plumbers were asking for.Note that his estimate came above one other plumber, but I selected him because of the overall feedback.Regarding the work itself:-I could tell he had lengthy experience; that counts and it showed. He amazingly figured things out looking at the ceiling of my old basement(home built in the 30s) where theres a maze of old and new pipes among other things I know not of. The additional nice thing is that he was explaining what he was doing and that really reassured me.-He was exceptionally courteous; as he was busy servicing my house, he took 2 calls in whenever possible (i.e. as he waited for the pipes to drain...), and simply ask inquirers that he would call them back later in the evening. I didnt mind at all because when I had called him, he answered in the same fashion and did call me back that evening. Thats how potential customers should be treated.-The work was done promptly but not rushed; so you know, he had 3 more appointments.-He gave explanations on the fridge water dispenser dripping, the flushing of the system, the hookup behind the fridge, and much more.-At the end, he sat down and asked me if I had any questions or concerns; I had none as he covered anything I could have thought of. What a professional!Im glad I picked Dave! I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I cannot describe how amazing Dave was to work with. He walked me through my issue, gave me pricing options and after talking to me realized that I might be able to solve it myself. I know that when I say, solve it myself it can sound like he was passing the buck on a low dollar job. That wasnt the case! He picked up the phone 3-4 times and helped me troubleshoot the issue and even gave me advice on how to fix it.He could have easily just told me that he would come out in the next few days and replace my garbage disposal, but instead he helped me save hundreds of dollars and has gained a customer that knows hes the guy to call when I need an honest person to help me.In the future if I ever have a problem I know who to call for anything I need!

I called Big Daves for some plumbing help and he was incredibly friendly, responsive, and helpful. He told me that he is only able to accept cash or check as payment and in true millennial fashion- I had neither of those. I told him I unfortunately didnt have a way to pay via cash or check and he ended up giving me a tip over the phone that allowed me to fix the issue myself. Thank you so much Dave! I will make sure to have cash/check on hand so I can call him for any future plumbing needs! Highly recommend for fast friendly service!

Dave has done plumbing work at my house a couple of times over the last few years. Most recently, he installed a bathroom sink faucet and drain for a newly replaced vanity. The plumbing was a little challenging, as the new sink was offset from the drain pipe. Dave was great about communicating prior to the appointment so he was clear on what needed to be done. He came up with a good solution that was much less invasive and expensive than what another plumber had suggested/quoted to me. He walked me though what he was doing and answered any questions I had. Dave does quality work and provides a great plumbing service experience.
