    I had an outside faucet leaking. The shutoff valve needed replacement. Matt from Rumpca Services replaced the shutoff valve. He also moved it to a more convenient location.     I called Rumpca for a clogged kitchen sink and slow draining tub. They were able to come in 2 days and discovered some rotten pipes and broken drain pipe. I was pleasantly surprised when Matt showed up as he was here in the past. Matt is so pleasant to work with and fixed all of the plumbing issues to my satisfaction. If I ever have plumbing issues again Rumpca is the only call I will make. Highly recommended.

    I called Rumpca Services this morning at around 10:30 am to check our water heater because the pilot light kept going out over the last four days. They had a technician out to my house by noon. He diagnosed the problem and told me the options were to fix the gas valve or replace the water heater because it was 14 years old. I felt the best option was to replace the water heater before something else went wrong with it because they only last for 15 years.The technician had the new water heater in and heating up by 1:00pm. That’s only two and a half hours from the time I first called. That’s fast!We will use Rumpca Services again in the future when we need something done fast and done the right way. Thank you.

    We needed HVAC work completed asap as a result of a home inspection so I searched the Lennox website for a certified repair company of their products. Rumpca showed up right away and completed the work timely. They even came out a second time in off hours to answer questions raised during final walkthrough. We then asked even more, to provide an immediate turnaround on the work summary and invoice, which we needed to meet our deadline. On all fronts, Rumpca delivered. Everyone was polite and acted with a sense of urgency. I cannot recommend them more.

    What a pleasant surprise from start to finish! I had a problem with my water heater and wanted to use a local company, so I called Rumpca Services. I spoke to a friendly customer service rep, who let me know she could have a technician out within a few hours the same day! She called me a bit later to let me know he was on his way. The technician, Zach, arrived promptly and let me know what repairs were needed. He answered all questions I had, and completed the work in an efficient and professional manner. To top it off, the repair cost was very reasonable. Rumpca Services just won a customer for life. Highly recommend!

    Most recently, Rumpca Services provided a new water softener system for our home. The softener stopped working and without question my first thought was to call Rumpca. They came right away to check out the problem and were able to give me a fair price and installed a new efficient water softener the next day. This is the fourth time I have used Rumpca Services. They have replaced a 50 year old boiler, installed a new air/heat mini split, and have cleaned out sewer pipes in our home. They have also serviced (regular maintenance) on my boiler and air. Each time I have used Rumpca’s the process has been very quick and efficient. Everyone I have come in contact with from sales to technicians have been very helpful, friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Rumpca Services and look forward to working with them in the future.

    Our sewer line backed up on the Friday night leading into the big Christmas holiday weekend! We called three companies trying to get someone to come out and help us, but because we have such a long line (over 100 feet) nobody wanted to do the job over the weekend. They all wanted to push us off until Tuesday.On Saturday mid-afternoon, we called Rumpca services and left a message. They called back within a few minutes and I gave them more information about the problem, including how long the line was.They said they would check to see if they had anybody who could help. They called back a short time later and said they had somebody that could be there within the hour.Holy Hannah! They were there well within the hour and fixed the problem handily.I was so impressed! They were at the house for a little over an hour and did an excellent job of destroying the clog that was down near the street connection. They charged what I think is a fair price for weekend work.I’ll never call another company again. Rumpca Services is the best!

    We got an estimate from Jeff yesterday, accepted it, and our new water heater was installed today.     I used Rumpca around a month ago to clear my sewer line of corrosion and a piece of plastic that was found in the line. They got me on the schedule within two days and were phenomenal and even cleaned up after themselves as well. A different company said I needed my whole sewer line replaced with the cost being much higher. I am thrilled with their services and just had them out again for another hiccup with the sewer, they were out within one day. Being a new homeowner in an older home I highly recommend them and their prices are very reasonable as well.

    I was extremely impressed with the entire process. They called a 1/2 hour before and arrived 10 minutes early. They went to work immediately and accomodated a couple of minor requests my husband had. I was also impressed that instead of them leaving all the stuff in the driveway until the end of the job it was cleaned up throughout the day and taken away. They sent in the rebates that were available for me and scheduled the inspection for the city - all completed within 24 hours of them completing the service. I have used Rumpca many times in the past but never had such a big project for them. We originally chose them due to being a local business. Based on our 1st experience I just go straight to them now for any of our needs and never have been disappointed in their service. Everyone I dealt with was respectful, helpful & knowledgeable.

    Called & was prompted to send a text on a closed holiday. Someone responded to my text within 5 mn and they said they could have a plumber out the next morning for a leak. I called Excel Energy & they came out right away & determined there was a slight leak on the stove side & the previous company did not use a long enough flex tube to clear the cabinets for easy access.     Our 40 year old AC unit went out on of the hottest days, about a 100°F. Rumpca was quick to respond. We decided to replace condenser and evaporator with a new high efficiency unit rather than repair. It was a tough two weeks(other contractors were saying 4-5 weeks), but well worth the wait. One company we tried to contact never even returned our calls or messages. Jeff from Rumpca was great to work with, he Travis and Zack did an awesome job, very professional, high quality work. Its a very quiet Lennox 16 SEER AC unit. Id give 6 out if 5 stars if possible. Very satisfied customer.

    We are so appreciative of how fast Rumpca sent a technician in response to a burst pipe. And prior to him arriving the office staff was able to explain how to turn off the water supply line. Although there is a lot of water damage in our basement, it is a lot less than it would have been because of their competent, concerned, and proactive care.     Rumpca replaced a toilet flange and U-joint feeding into the main stack pipe of my 75-year-home and re-seated and re-sealed the toilet. The technician was available an hour earlier than originally estimated: he was friendly and efficient and really seemed to take pride in his work, accounting for updates in part and pipe specs between 1947 and 2022. He completed the work for Rumpca’s reasonable estimated cost (and Rumpca initially provided the estimate for free as well!); he left the work area cleaner than it was before he arrived; and Rumpca was flexible when it came to payment options. Our household has used Rumpca Services for decades: over the years, I’ve priced around for this project and others, and Rumpca is where I’ve ended up.     My experience with Rumpca was great! Last winter on a Saturday morning, when we were -30 or some crazy temperature like that my furnace went out. Every other company I called was 2 weeks or more to come out. Then I called Rumpca and they came out in 20 minutes and had the heat working in no time. I was expecting it to be a very expensive service call and I would have paid it cause it was freezing, but to my surprise it was a regular service fee.     Wonderful service. Each person I worked with was professional and knowledgeable. I knew the existing AC unit was undersized and no longer supported by the industry due to government regulation. The tonnage recommended by Rumpca aligned with my research. I thought I would need to go with a more costly SEER to meet my needs, but Jeff didn’t think the costlier option was necessary. It only took Zach and Travis a few hours to install the new unit. While they were at it, they sealed some pre-existing leaks and adjusted some settings on the furnace for optimal efficiency.     Rumpca did a great job on my first floor laundry room. They were on time, friendly, and professional. When they did the initial walk through, they noticed a few things that were not up to the current codes, so they fixed those also. They were very flexible and accommodating because after they did the plumbing and gas lines, I had to have a drywall guy come in to fix the wall. They were able to adjust to my schedule and come back pretty quickly, when the wall was fixed. The only thing that I would have liked is if they would have talked to me about the placement of my washer prior to installing it. There is no room either next to the washer or between my washer & dryer for a soap & fabric softener cart. Other then that, they were amazing!! I would highly recommend them to everyone!!     Let me tell you how much I appreciated the service I received from this professional and friendly company. Ive had a terrible smell in my condo for about 4 months but I was only home two days a week so I could handle it with Lysol spray.When my work schedule changed so did my need for help.     Our water heater started overheating and releasing water into the pan on Easter Sunday. We called a different repair company to come out same day, bad idea! Needless to say, we did not go with the other company!Contacted Rumpca on Monday, spoke with Jeff and he came out to give an estimate, which was half of what the other company was charging for full replacement!     After many rears of service, we decided it was time to give our old boiler the boot. I called 5 different companies for bids; Rumpca was the first to show and the favorite from the start. It turns out that they were the most complete bid, and the price leader for the work, but even if they hadnt been the lowest, the thoroughness of their estimate made us certain there would be no surprises.The work as done was clean, well thought out and our disruption was only a day - the heat was on again within a few hours of starting, and they had re-fit EVERYTHING and refill the system before they could start it up.Were thrilled with the new system and will definitely call Rumpca for future maintenance and projects.

    For the past many years we have used Rumpca Services when we needed a new furnace, new A/C, and water heater. Each time they took the time to explain why the unit needed replacing and based on our usage, recommended a unit to replace the old one. When the water heater was replaced the technician brought the piping up to code. They are very prompt and courteous. We have been very satisfied with their work.

    The service we received from Rumpca Services was very prompt and courteous. They installed our new Lennox furnace last year. I called to see if they could come out and make sure we were getting the most heat flow possible from our unit.     I was having trouble equalizing temperatures for my 4-level townhome. Rumpca came out, reviewed my HVAC, adjusted a damper, changed the fan speed for the furnace blower, and recommended I return to the original air filter. The result has been fantastic. Much better than the previous service company who simply said I was using the wrong filter.

    Rumpca has installed ducts in our basement family room and our gas fireplace 29 years ago. They have installed a new furnace and air conditioner since then and most recently repaired our furnace and gas fireplace. They are professional, on time, and very responsive for emergency needs.     Zack seemed very knowledgeable and professional. Charged me exactly what was quoted and showed up on time. Will be using them again for my plumbing or hvac needs!Update: We used Rumpka again, this time for our ac unit that had failed on a very hot evening. The technician that came out was kind and in and out in less then a half hour, he had one capacitor to replace. I see the bill and get sticker shock. There is no breakdown of the costs incurred - from the amount of labor right down to the materials purchased. I looked up the cost of the capacitor, it was $11. They should tell you there is a minimum trip charge of $197 before coming: They should provide you with receipts of materials purchased/used. Not just try and tell you it was exactly $100 in materials, a clearly made up number.
