    After my 20 years old water heater took a dive, I had to make many calls around the Metro Area to find a company to replace mine. AJ Alberts was able to get a plumber out to me within a few hours. Matt D was my plumber, he quickly diagnosed the issues, gave me an estimate, and recommendations. I decided to go with AJ Alberts for the replacement service.Matt came back the next day to install the new water heater. He was on time, efficient, and cleaned up the whole area. He installed the new water heater, replaced the copper hoses, and new pipes for the air vent.Very happy with the service provided. You really do get what you paid for.

    Weve used for multiple reasons/times, new water heater that exploded, new water softener and other plumbing. Every time they have been very respondent to the call in a quick manner.     I cant say enough good things about my experience with AJ Alberts Plumbing! I highly recommend their services. I had a leak in my kitchen sink return line which was located underneath my finished basement floor. James came out and gave me a an estimate and patiently answered all of my questions. He also noticed that the venting in my bathroom plumbing wasnt correct. After receiving multiple bids, I decided to go with them because of the experience I had with James. Hes a Master plumber and he understood the potential complexity of the job. I received two other bids: one was similar in pricing while the other was significantly higher and it didnt sound like they had a ton of experience breaking through tile/concrete to fix the leak.They showed up the day and time that they said they would. They have a text and email notification system for appointments which I appreciate. When they dug and located the leak, they took the time to explain what was happening. Unfortunately the bottom of the cast iron pipe had completely disintegrated and they couldnt find good pipe to connect to. After a lengthy discussion, we decided to replace the entire line from the wall to the sewer line and Im so thankful that we did! There was over 12 feet of pipe that was rotted and another 8 that was severely damaged. James also gave me an updated estimate before additional work was done. It was significantly more than the initial bid but that was to only cover up to 5 liner feet. We ended up replacing three times that amount. They patched the concrete and cleaned up after themselves really well.The other big thing that I appreciated was the fact that when we realized this was going to be a much bigger project than originally expected, instead of saying theyd be back in a few days or even next week because they were booked, they were able to work with the front office to rearrange the other projects so they could finish the work in my home. They were here for three full days and I couldnt be happier with the work they did.Believe the 4.9 Google ratings because they are great! Great communication, fair prices, expert plumbers, finished the job quickly, and really nice guys (James and Luca).

    My basement flooded on a Saturday about 3:00 p.m. I called numerous plumbers and no answer or would not come after office hours or weekends. I called Alberts and he found someone for me right away and was there within an hour. Plumber spent some time fixing the repair and opening up drains. Water was throughout the basement and bathroom. He fixed it within a few hours and water went down the drain. He explained to me what happened because I had no idea what happened. Most of the plumbers I called were listed under Emergency service and would come out most of the time. The amount of the bill was also surprising. Very reasonable for plumbing services.

    James is very good at his job, and he cares so much! He fixed my clean out pipe very quickly and efficiently. He also helped me install my new water softener, which he did a great job on -- he noticed the bad plumbing that was already in place and replaced it. He is very knowledgeable and caring. I will definitely be hiring this company again next time!

    Hands down to AJ Albertā€™s Plumbing and their team who were sent to do some pipe work issue for me. After wasting time and money on other plumbers who couldnā€™t find the issue, it took them less than one minute. Thatā€™s how good they are and they do not overcharge. Love them and will be using them in the future.The only thing I didnā€™t like was that because I trusted them with their work so much, the referral they sent me was to 24 Restore who had to do the mitigation and reconstruction part. I had nothing but stress, disappointment, headaches and more with 24 Restore. My issue started in June and Iā€™m still trying to get them to finish up. The mitigation team was great but the reconstruction, I do NOT recommend using them. I should have done my own research on that company. That company has multiple complaints already from the city, google reviews, BBB, and so much more.So please, AJ Albertā€™s, donā€™t refer your customers to them. I will be filing a formal complaint to the BBB and attorney general. Iā€™ve already written to corporate about my issues. Iā€™m a reasonable and understanding person so for me to go this far with a company means how badly and disrespectful I was treated. Anyways, thank you AJ Alberts for your work.

    I would highly recommend AJ Alberts Plumbing & plan to use them again for any future plumbing needs. They replaced my water heater and I had great experience start to finish. Jill was friendly while scheduling and had availability for next day service.     I recently bought a house and have had three different plumbers out to do work since then. I chose Matt with AJ Alberts to replace my hot water heater because he was the most detail oriented plumber I spoke with and he took the time to ensure he understood the situation fully before giving me an estimate for the work. His attention to detail carried over into the work and he did a great job cleaning up the area when he was finished. I like that they send a text when they are on the way to you and the scheduling process was simple.

    We had a great experience with Tyler from AJ Alberts. After getting bamboozled by a bigger company who uses high-pressure sales tactics and inflated prices, I was recommended AJ Alberts by another residential service worker in Minneapolis who owns a small business. Not only did AJ Albers do the work we asked them to do, but they charged exactly half of what the bigger company did. We went from an $800 quote to a $400 quote. AJ Alberts did a great job, and quoted us on replacing our water heater (which is coming up next for us in plumbing work) at a third of the cost the bigger company quoted us. Highly recommend!

    Our water heater was misbehaving. We contacted AJ Alberts Plumbing, our go-to plumbers for years. Thatcher from AJ came out, gave an assessment, and we elected to have the heater replaced at a time convenient to us. Thatcher was also the person who installed the new water heater, a job that took only two hours. We are greatly pleased with AJ Alberts promptness, professionalism, and expertise.

    Tyler showed up today and replaced a defective valve. He was very knowledgeable and did excellent work and careful testing afterwards to verify the quality of repair and overall quality of the pipe system. On the downside, the price was about $100 more expensive than the next most expensive quote that I received... however, they were the only ones who could show up on the same day the request was made.

    I was without hot water due to a broken water heater. I called Monday and Joe came out that afternoon replacing the water heater. I am now a happy person because Joe was able to get everything done quickly and affordable. They service the Maple Grove, Brooklyn Park area though the website does not say this. Joe is great, knowledgeable and professional. He also installed my water softener a few years back. Great service.Thanks again for same day service.

    Called because my garage disposal wouldnt turn on anymore. They came out the next day and discovered it was just tripped and pressing a button on the bottom of the garbage disposal actually fixed it. Since the machine was so old and Ive previously had other problems, I decided to replace it anyway and they did it same day.I also had a slow drain in my bathroom that turned out to just be a simple hair clog and he fixed that for free (included in the $89 fee to get a plumber to show up at my house). If he would have needed to get his fancy drain cleaning machine then he would have charged me.Guy was friendly. Didnt pressure me into any decisions.

    Great job! I needed a new faucet installed on a pedestal sink. Initially it looked like the whole sink would have to be moved, but the A.J. Alberts plumber did it with a twist of the sink part saving him and us from all kinds of trouble. He even provided cleaning tips for the porcelain sink.

    This week, AJ Alberts Plumbing installed 3 new Gerber toilets and new shutoffs at my home. Their technician Matt did an amazing job, and also fixed our plumbing flanges - a new term I learned from Matt. Moreover, I will be saving water and money! The new toilets use just 1.3 gal per flush, which each of my old toilets used 2.6 gal per flush, so my water bill will be going down, not to mention the water I will be saving!     The pilot light of my water heater went out unexpectedly, and I wasnā€™t able to relight it myself. I called a large company in the Twin Cities (they advertise a lot on billboards) but they stated they donā€™t work on condos (even if each condo has their own water heater). We called AJ Alberts after seeing a good review on Nextdoor, and they made us a priority and squeezed us in that morning. They are very communicative and I was able to anticipate when they would arrive. Joe was able to relight the pilot quickly, and stayed long enough to make sure it stayed on and the water was heating up. Overall, everyone was really great and responsive to our needs! The pricing was also more than fair for an emergency call.

    When our water heater went out, we first called our regular plumbing company who said we needed a new water heater, and the cost would be approximately $5000. I wanted another quote, so I called AJ Alberts Plumbing. Joe just happened to be in our area, and was able to come by the same day! He took a good look at our water heater and quickly realized that it was still under warranty! AJ Alberts Plumbing took care of all the warranty stuff.     I had a 20-year old anti-siphon attachment on my outdoor spigot that was spraying everywhere and needed to be removed. The problem is...it would just spin and spin and wouldnt come off. I called AJ Alberts and they sent two people over the next day. They also found that it wasnt going to come off by twisting, so after calling the home office, they decided to cut the metal on both sides and snap it off. That worked GREAT...and without damage to the threads on the spigot. I was so thankful for the fix as it had been getting worse and worse for years.     From the first phone call to the installation of a new whole house water filtration/softener system, Ive been nothing but impressed with AJ Alberts. Another phone call began the discussion of the various elements found in our cities tap water and how replacing our old system with a newer model was not a cost effective option.     Contacted A.J. Alberts to repair an underground water leak. Scott indicated he could have a team out in a day. Dan and Thatcher arrived as scheduled. The job necessitated breaking thru the cement floor, locating, repairing the leak and hole in the floor. The area was cleaned of all debris and was left in its previous condition.Highly recommend the company due to great communication, responsiveness, courtesy and quality of work.

    AJ Alberts Plumbing is fantastic. Iā€™ve called them for three different jobs so far: water softener install, kitchen pipe reroute, and replacement of two regular spigots with frost free. A different plumber came for each job, and they were all friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I also like the appointment confirmation email and text when the plumber is on their way over. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of work, and when theyā€™re done you get an instant invoice email with no wait. Hands down great business.     Had Alberts come out to fix a sink drain and replace the cartridge in my shower. Plumber Bob was sent and he did an excellent job. Cartridge was difficult to replace but he worked hard to keep from replacing the valve. Nice man very knowledgeable Alberts is lucky to have him.

Recently, took in a high end shower head that was not working properly. Scott checked it out and cleaned it, tested it. He helped me contact the manufacturer and they are sending me a new one.     I heard about A.J. Alberts Plumbing on Totos website. Being handicapped, I needed a high quality toilet that had the features I needed and would accommodate a bidet at a latter date. Scott, their salesperson, was very helpful, and patient, helping meet my needs. I choose a Toto Carolina II. Considering the quality of this toilet, and work involved in installation, the price was very reasonable.I was concerned about the installation and Alberts plumber Bob exceeded my expectations. Solid installation and cleanup.A couple weeks before the above installation; our second bathrooms toilet developed a hairline crack in the tank. Bob and Scott were able to obtain a replacement and Bob installed it within a couple hours after my Carolina II was installed.Well seriously consider hiring A.J. Alberts when we covert our current shower to a more handicapped friendly shower next spring.
