They arrived on time and prior to any work, discussed the possible causes, solutions and all cost associated with each. They also included some helpful maintenance tips and cautionary tales of products that cause harm to toilets and plumbing systems. This was our third time using them in the last decade and we will absolutely continue to do so.

2nd time using steinmetz, this time it was for a leaking water meter EDP said was on my side. I made an appointment from 2-4 but they were backed up today (Valentine’s Day/everyone needs a plumber on that day) they came around 4:45pm they diagnosed and fixed problem by 6-6:15pm. They had to dig around the meter box and work alongside the sidewalk to replace some pvc with pex tubing. The old pvc pipe was being tugged apart by oak roots causing the leaking of water meter. They had two jobs after mine so I gave them some water and hung around to chat. When they completed job, it was no longer leaking. Only critique is I probably have to hose down the street and sidewalk because it was a muddy mess from all that water it leaked and the digging. They did a great job though and John and his buddy were very nice. Sorry to John for being late to his valentine dinner with his ms.1st time calling steinmetz they Diagnosed and fixed water heater! Dirty soot rods couldn’t catch ignition, cleaned and hot water is back!

Wow! Is all I can say. I spoke to Rebecca on the phone and she said that they would try to get out to my house in the afternoon same day but, if not it would definitely be the next day. Then 30 minutes later I received a call from Rebecca saying that they could have someone come out in the next 10 minutes or so. John showed up and was very professional and explained everything along the way. He said that it would probably take 3 hours to complete the work and instead he was finished just over 2 hours. First, someone answered the phone. They sent someone to give me an estimate with two hours. They worked with me on keeping the cost down since we have a lot of work going on with the remodeling. They replaced the valves for the two master bathroom vanities, so that we can install the new sinks ourselves. They will be replacing the drain and tub valve for the jacuzzi and installing a free-standing tub next week. They also suggested installing an outlet for the garbage disposal, so it will be easier for us to install. Nice. Wish they could do it all, but glad for the advice.

My water bill quadrupled. I made the mistake of calling John Moore Plumbing first because I had interior plumbing repair under warranty. I told this JM serviceman the amount of water leaking but he just walked the interior of my home and told me my toilets were running. I told him there was no leak when I tested with food coloring, certainly not 39,000 gallons in one month and that I can repair a toilet myself. He told me to call for sprinkler repair even though I told him there were no wet areas in my lawn. But he didnt bother to check and find that there was a broken pipe near the water meter which was draining into the sewer. I had to shut the water off to my house and called Steinmetz Plumbing. They were booked until the next day but Rebecca followed up to move the service call forward when a time slot became available the day I called. John Schauer was polite and professional and able to repair the line quickly. I will continue to call on Steinmetz Plumbing for people and repairs I know I can trust.

We had a clog in the kitchen sink and had Steinmetz come out on New Years Eve. They charged $175 for about an hours worth of work, and said it was clear. The water didnt seem to drain as fast, but it was New Years Eve, and we had plans, so I just trusted that he tested fully. I tried the sink the next day (new years) and it was clogged. I called the following day since it was a holiday. They worked with me on the price to come back out, since this was a bit of a special circumstance with the Holiday between calls. My only advice is to double check everything is working before they leave, but they seem to stand by their work.

Luke & Crew were very professional, friendly and on time. We needed to replace a copper pipe leading to a hose bib and pool auto-fill connection. Those fixtures also needed replacing. He discussed my options and addressed my concerns with future access points as we had to cut through drywall in the pantry. He came up with a great, cost-effective solution. They were very clean during their work and after. Third time using Steinmetz with excellent results. They have definitely become our Plumber for Life!

Like many people, we suffered water damage due to the winter storm in February. Steinmetz was able to get to us a week after our initial pipe burst and was able to fix the line. Well that evening we turned the water back on and discovered we had several more leaks further down the line that was in between the first and second floors. This was something Luke could not have inspected without sheetrock removal. I called Rebecca and she had Luke and Christian back out first thing the next morning to cap the line. Once the wet sheetrock and insulation was removed a couple weeks later, I called to get a quote to fix the remaining pipe issues and they were able to come out within a week. John was very professional and thorough which we very much appreciated. They are still very busy repairing other people’s homes so I really appreciated the promptness. Rebecca got John and Christian back to my house 4 days later to do the work that was quoted. Whenever we have plumbing issues, Steinmetz is our first call.

Called Steinmetz and one other company because we noticed water pooling near the meter in our front yard. Wasnt expecting much since customer service is nonexistent today, and no shows are common. However, Steinmetz showed up promptly at the time the technician said he would be here. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. After digging and assessing the issue, we found out that a large tree root had caused our water line to leak as it had grown, pushing our line, causing the leak.
