Waking up Christmas morning with no heat in our new home was not on our list of things to do today. We called the number on the side of our furnace ... we said we had a pellet stove and could wait if no one was available but they said they had someone working. John Becker showed up not even an hour or so from another call he was on. What a super friendly man! Even better, he was knowledgeable about our equipment and knew exactly what to fix. We tried to feed him or send him off with cookies but he had five more calls to make. We couldnt believe that we were charged just a normal service call on Christmas Day! Oh and he likes cats too!! We will be calling to get on a regular service schedule! What a Christmas miracle in this day and age! Thank you John and Essig Plumbing & Heating!

David was great. He was relaxed and presented himself with confidence and knowledge about the the plumbing problem we were having. He sat us down and discussed all the up front pricing and made it clear to understand. After he resolved the main issue, he took some time and went over some other plumbing needs or concerns we had. Gave us quotes for those future repairs and improvements. He was definitely the bright spot of a long stressful day before his arrival. I highly recommend him and would definitely feel secure in his ability to do future services to my home.

He let me know when he was coming when he came through the door he put his booty on, even though I told him not to he let me know that service was done in my home before and what was going on and he knew exactly where to go to to see if the job was done, but it wasn’t therefault it was the previous owner that didn’t schedule the job, so he let me know what was the next steps ,thanks and it was really appreciated.dennis and his crew did a great job and pick up after themselves they left everything nice and clean. This is my first experience with Essig (I took a chance based off of other reviews) and I couldnt be more pleased with them. Their service was prompt, courteous; the work performed was of the highest caliber. Phil explained a lot to me about what was going on with my issues and what my options were. I was comfortable with the choice I made and felt it was the best option for me, no pressure applied. I asked many questions and felt comfortable with the answers I was given. Im VERY satisfied with this company and will be looking forward to doing business with them again.I just had Joe out to my house today to change out my stupidly complicated (to me) thermostats. But I have ALOT of them and it would have been really expensive to do all of them. Joe took the time to help me understand them, correct some settings, etc. and now I just need to replace a few Stone Age models (Joe said he will research my needs and get back to me) which is a huge cost saving for me! Thank you!

Easy to set up appointment. Great communications thereafter, checking in on day of appointment, notifying us again when in route to our job (included photo of our technician, in identifiable uniform and in company work van), arriving with friendly greeting, listened to my explanation of desired work, assessed the existing plumbing, recommended replacement of 50 year old leaking shut-off valve, provided written estimate of work and cost. Once i signed acceptance of the estimate, proceeded to do work in a very timely manner. Great job. Obviously knowledgeable in his craft. Tested work and provided explanation of use of new fixtures. Answered my questions. Good use of available technology (phone, text, email, iPad and device to accept credit card payment.) Sent receipt immediately to my email and was on his way.Will use again for future plumbing needs.

When meeting with David a Drain Technician with Essig I disclosed the issues which have happened to our drain coming from our kitchen sink and entering into the basement floor. He reassured us of his intentions in order to resolve the problem with true professionalism . We wanted to thank Dave Martini for coming out to give us an estimate on my fathers A/C & Heating unit. He did a full inspection of my fathers heating/ac unit and answered many questions that we had. He was very helpful and patient with us, as we had a huge decision to make. He was very upfront and honest with us. He made our decision a bit easier to make...We loved everything about our experience!! They perfomed the job the very next day!! The installers arrived on time and introduced themselves to us. They laid down drop cloths to protect the rugs and told us if we had any questions, we were free to ask at anytime. They were very knowledgeable about the products they were installing. We ran into one issue (nothing that Essig did but a previous roofer did) but they helped us problem solve the situation and then helped us discover the issue. They fixed the problem and didnt charge us anything extra. They were incredible and they finished the job all in one day!! I would definitely reccomend their services!!

Joe Ciasulli did an excellent job today. He had the patience and knowledge to determine how to connect my humidifier to my thermostat. It was not an easy task and others would have probably given up when facing this challenge. My humidity percentage was around 30 which made it feel colder in the house, even with the heat on. I am so glad that I did not have to spend significant money to replace the thermostat in order to fix the problem. I highly recommend Joe!

Updated 12/5/24. Original review below the update: Today was my installation of our new heating and air conditioning units. These guys were amazing. A day before I received a call confirming the installation and time. These guys were not only on time but early, which is great. Id give this crew 10 stars. They came in, set up and got moving right away. I barely heard anything. They worked like well oiled machine and were done in under the projected time. About 3pm they were heading out the door. Their work was quick, clean and efficient. Unless I told you, youd never of known work was even done. Thats how well they cleaned up. Among the set up, installation and clean up, they went over every thing I needed to know and answered any questions I had. Like other reviews Ive seen price comments. I think the price for what I received and the installation more than fair. I couldnt be happier with the job from start to finish, including the day my heating went down. To also reiterate how clean their work was. Absolutely perfect 👌Im so glad I choose Essig for this job. Thank you guys.Original review:Essig deserves a 5 star review for many reasons. Our heater stopped working this weekend and not having this problem to this degree I call around as I always do. Despite several businesses claiming to be emergency 24/7 service, Essig was the company that came out and came out within under 2 hours. They found my issue fairly quick. Unfortunately I need to replace my heating unit which I knew needed to be done in the near future, but the future was today. I give huge props to John our service tech and Jared who arrived shortly after to go over our new installation and pricing. Were replacing both heating and air conditioning with a 10 year warranty. The service will be done in a few days but they gave us 2 heaters for our house for the time beingBoth guys were super nice and professional and the price to replace our heater and AC were extremely reasonable in my opinion especially with the warranty. As of now I couldnt be happier with the service I received from Essig. Thanks guys for such fast service. Its greatly appreciated.

First and foremost, setting up an appointment for an estimate on duct and vent cleaning was a breeze. Jackson arrived on time for the appointment and was incredible. He had his boot covers on and was ready to go. While completing the cleaning estimate I asked a couple questions about our hvac system in general, this is a brand new home, closed 2 weeks prior, and we had a couple issues that we wanted to ask about so we could go to the builder with knowledge and facts. Jackson immediately noted that things were a little off, asked permission to take photos and sent them to his manager. The return phone call was pretty much immediate because they couldn’t believe how the system was installed. The manager, Darrin, needed to see some of the issues in person and proceeded to come out, he arrived and was prepped for entry just as Jackson was. They both went over everything with us in excellent detail, unfortunately, and to no fault of Essig at all, they most likely would not be able to fix the issues due to how the system was installed. We will be going with the vent cleaning, and we will be using the detailed information provided to go to the builder and seek the corrections needed. I appreciate the thoroughness and willingness to go above and beyond on a FREE ESTIMATE!! I will use Essig as long as I live in their service territory, and will recommend them to everyone I can.

This is following up my review from having having ESSIG come out to repair/diagnose my furnace/HVAC unit. We ended up going with a full new system just due to age of previous system and going over price comparison with Brian (their design team). They had two gentlemen come out and again, they did a phenomenal job. This company is in the process of installing a heat pump in my home. They endeavored to complete the set-up in one day but ran into unexpected problems which delayed completion. Still, both the salesman and installer showed up promptly for their appointments, so Im optimistic they will be back to finish the job soon. At the very least, I do have working A/C; they just need to hook up the auxiliary heating. UPDATE: The installation is complete as of today, but some trim pieces were not re-installed on the circuit breaker box. The two men who did the job seemed competent enough, so Ill assume this was an honest mistake. The system works in any case.

We decided on a dual fuel heatpump system that should be more efficient and prolong the life of our current gas furnace. It was an option we had not known about or considered initially, but makes a lot of sense for our situation. He also helped us with financing and found a system that should give us a tax credit for next tax season. Any questions I have had after he left, he has responded to promptly. We just had a new HVAC system installed by Essig’s and it was a great experience. We’ve struggled with some plumbing and HVAC issues since buying our home in October of 2023. We’ve called several different companies and always felt there was an absence of diagnosis before we made a decision and an incentive to upsell us at every corner.When calling Essig’s, they really don’t play games. They give you the price - and it’s truly their best price. For the exact same system (yes, specs and all) we could have paid up to $12k more with another company. Can you imagine? Joe and Jackson came out and did AC check ups.They did a thorough job. They were very courteous and informative unfortunately I have to replace one of my units as I expected , at that point they got a hold of sales and in a little while Dave Martini came out went through everything gave me prices on all the things that had to be done as well as some extra things that he covered for me He also was very thorough and courteous. Im awaiting my installation of my new AC unit in a few days.

Needing a plumber is never a pleasant experience yet I have to say Mark & Essig Plumbing made this such an easy pleasurable experience. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and talented, he knew exactly what our issues were AND fixed them the same day. Mark was neat and super friendly and even went over maintenance with us. I will NEVER EVER use anyone other than Essig plumbing. Superb service and quality!!!

My HVAC was leaking water and after Googling recommmended companies, I called ESSIG and they had a tech come out first thing the next morning. I was impressed how quickly they were able to send someone out. Joe C. Arrived early and I was so impressed by how professional and knowledgeable he was. His thorough inspection addressed several issues on my 13 year old system, and he was able to fix everything and explained exactly what he was doing. Joe was very personable and answered all my questions very respectfully and with detailed explanations. This has been the BEST experience I have ever had with a service company in my home. Joe represented your company beyond my expectations and should be commended for his excellent job both professionally and personally. There is no need for me to use anyone else other than ESSIG for the care and upkeep of my home. Thank you for a job well done!

Our technician, Weston, assessed the duct situation quickly and accurately. He then took the time to get the required parts from another technician who was working nearby. The solution could have easily been jerry-rigged but Weston did it correctly and made the entire duct more secure than it had been when he arrived. He was professional and diligent. He was also very kind and offered to help move a shelving unit with which I was struggling! Thank you, Weston!
