Twice we have called Surge Electric with an emergency and both times they have come through for us. Once John came out on a Friday afternoon to fix a problem with our panel. Today, we had flames shooting out of an outlet, which almost started a fire. Brian put us first on his list. Did the job quickly. We were very appreciative.

I could not have been more pleased. When lights went off on the first floor of our two story home, John worked us in with a visit within 48 hours. He is a 5-star professional electrician who arrives with a well-equipped truck so he has what he needs at his fingertips.In two hours, he replaced a nonworking GIF, replaced a blown circuit breaker, installed replacement LED bulbs in the second story outside lights up in the eaves and replaced wrongly-installed outside receptacles on the deck. The price he charged was very fair.No question about it – he rates 10 on a scale of 1 to 10. He’s also been recommended by Angie’s List for the past eleven years.If you need an experienced, capable, honest man for residential electrical service. you’ve won the lottery with John at Surge Electric. I’ll recommend him to everyone I know anytime they need electrical repairs. He’s the best I’ve ever worked with.

Had an emergency breaker outage for our water heater and John came over very quickly to install a new breaker. Professional, courteous, and very reasonably priced. Happy to have an electrician in the area that I trust to call!

Surge Electric has done work for myself, ex wife and others since 2003 from small to large jobs. They recently did some minor work for me so I feel I should reaffirm my satisfaction. The owner is the cleanest and most considerate of any trades persons I have ever dealt with. Not only is his work professional but he is mindful of your property using clean tarps and even wearing paper covers on his shoes so as not to track dirt in your house. In the past he has done major rewiring to include a 50 amp service and wiring to a shed in my back yard I turned into and office, Installing electric for my hot tub and too numerous to count electrical upgrades. We have lived in our current house for over 12 years and any time we have needed to have any kind of electrical work done we have called Surge Electric. They are courteous, professional, punctual, and go out of their way to make you feel like the customer, which is rare these days.We have always been very happy with the quality of the work and with the fair prices. We moved in to a house of crazy electricity! We were replacing some outlets and found out through John that half of our upstairs was not grounded! One of the rooms we use as an office, so that was very scary. John was so responsive and fit us in so quickly to his schedule. Even when we found another outlet was not working, he can right away to make it right. I will continue to call him for all out electrical needs!!! Highly recommend!

Amazing service. I travel typically and so its really difficult for me to have any type of electrician work done usually, but surge was able to help me with amazing customer service and was extremely flexible to help match my tough schedule. The work was done perfectly and everything was left clean and organized for a competitive price! I also spoke to the owner over the phone who was very polite and personable when handling my scheduling issues

John is a great guy to do business with. Even though I had made a *stupid* mistake and the fix was to flip a light switch [duh!] - he was very fair in the way he treated me. He left with me feeling overwhelming embarrassment, but I now have a great respect for John, what he does and how he does it. I will, without a doubt, be calling Surge Electric for anything that comes up in the future. Do it yourself and you wont be sorry.

I actually didnt have any work done by Surge, but I have to say that when I do need work the next time, theyll be the place I call. I had a power outage to 1/2 of my house, and assuming it was an electrical problem within the house, I called them on spec after reading reviews on Angies List. They told me it would be worth my while to call the power company first, because there was a possibility that it could be something to do with power coming in to the house. They said to call them if it didnt turn out to be the power company. As it turns out, it was the power company. You have GOT to trust a company that doesnt come out to your house at the drop of a hat to charge you a service charge at the least and then tell you its the power company. It was an honest answer for an honest problem, and the next time I have an electrical issue or need something installed, Surge is the place Im calling!

Unbelievable service!! I called them at 1:15 p.m. and left a message and it is now 2:05 p.m. and I am writing this review. We had an issue where our entire master bedroom was out of power. We suspected that it was an open outlet. They called me back promptly and were able to come right away. It was, indeed, a loose wire but they were kind enough to replace the whole outlet to be sure it was not compromised from the overheating that has been occurring. I will DEFINITELY be calling them again. Thanks!!!!

I just met John for the first time yesterday -- he was referred by another electrician! Came out very quickly in response to an urgent issue. He was so very professional, knowledgeable, willing to educate, and helpful. Stayed late for me until every detail was exactly right on a complex situation -- and still charged a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!
