Ive seen billboards for Taggart before, and decided to give them a try with their drain cleaning special as Ive been having periodic issues with a basement drain. They were quick to respond and get me scheduled and the times were easy to work around my day to day stuff. Chuck arrived right on time and took all the care I expected from seeing their advertisements about drop clothes and even shoe covers. He was really friendly and let me explain what was going on and then explained what hed be doing and why. One of the best things I liked about this was the fact that he scoped the drains with a camera first, which I didnt expect but greatly appreciated being able to see what the condition of the drain lines were like before we even did any work. After the job was done, Chuck cleaned everything up like nothing even happened and even cleaned some gunk off the wall that came from the snake being coiled back out. All in all a really professional experience and Im very glad I chose them. I will not hesitate to use them again!

I called Taggart to help with water hammering noises my pipes were making. Jake was very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of options on fixing potential problems, but these plumbing issues can be complex and pricey so I had to go with the minimal approach to stay within my budget. He gave me a long list of possibilities for future consideration and took plenty of notes in case I decide to get more work done. The work he did looks solid. He changed my regulator and secured my pipes so hopefully the water hammering has stopped.Thanks to Jake and Taggart Plumbing!

I have worked with Taggart on several occasions since becoming a homeowner of a 100+ year old home, and I am impressed every time. They have had availability that is so convenient, and the work they do is minimally invasive, professional, but most importantly, efficient.This most recent go, I had a leak in old copper piping that had flooded out the ceiling in the floor below it. I did the old duct tape patch job to mitigate the spread, then immediately called Taggart (it was late afternoon). They had availability early the next day, and I was provided extremely useful information, suggested outcomes, current and future state suggestions, to boot. The work took maybe 2 hours, and the original leak, plus a leak I originally didnt know about were replaced cleanly, with PEX.While I hope I dont need to call them too often, Im always impressed when I do. They got it cleared within 2 hours and even cleaned up the basement floor where it had backed up. It smelled like fresh soap when they left. Mike was courteous and professional and ended up fixing two other things while he was there. Taggart has completed 2 jobs for our house over the last 2 weeks and has done an amazing job. We are building a laundry room in an unfinished space and needed both drainage and water that was not existing. We had 6 plumbing companies come to our house and Mike was the only one who called before he came, arrived at the time he said, reviewed the project and clearly talked through how the project could be accomplished and then sent a quote on time. Scheduling with Jamie was easy and timely. On the day, the work started Mike and Chris arrived on time. They did such a wonderful job walking us through the work and ensured not only that we were happy with the product but that we were informed about all the decisions we made. While they were here, we also had them install a booster pump as our water pressure was very low. They were able to work this into our already schedule appointment!! Who does that!! We are happy to say this has been a great addition as our upstairs showers have great water pressure.When the job was completed, they vacuumed the space and made sure everything was put back correctly. Great communication, fabulous work and clearly a company who care about more than just doing the job. We have several other projects and will be using Taggart Plumbing as our go to from now on. I always appreciate a place that has online scheduling.I had a leak in the main line and had an aging PRV and secondary shut off valve. Had the PRV, check valve, and the valve replaced. I was a bit surprised at how expensive it was, but Kenny did it quickly and the result was great.They gave a little thank you bag with a shirt and some other stuff in it which was appreciated. Weirdly, Im going to deduct a star for that bag including flushable wipes. Any other plumber Ive interacted with has talked about how there is no such thing as flushable wipes and they shouldnt ever be used as they cause havoc for plumbing and public water treatment systems. Was very surprised a plumber would be giving them out.

Great communication as you great appointment reminders via text at scheduling, the day of the appointment, and when the techs are on the way.Taggarts most recent work for me was replacing the water and sewage line during my bathroom remodel along with installing a new tub, sink, and toilet. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome! Excellent quality of work and they make sure to clean up the space better than when they started. Very thorough inspection before bidding on the job. Crew was knowledgeable and courteous. The guy who did the initial inspection and bid was the same guy who showed up and did the job, so nothing was lost between a sales man and the laborers; I didnt feel like I was being up charged by a middle man.This was a big dig (sewer line repair 12-15 down and main tap replacement) and very messy. The crew was working hard and was sensitive to keeping the work area clean as possible under the conditions. They also were respectful of my lawn plantings, even going to far as to help me dig them out so I could try to replant them later. Very cool. Also respectful of my neighbors, street parking, etc.They did what they said, for the prices they said, and they came in extra time on Saturday to finish cleaning up and do soil grading and lawn replacement - even after the County Inspector signed off and the guys had final payment. Thats integrity. Oh and did I mention? Theyre downright good plumbers.

It all started with a little gurgle I heard in the shower. We figured something was backed up because we had just had a ton of family staying with us during the holidays, and it was probably over used. Turns out we had a much bigger issue. Drainage pipes were clogged and retaining water, seals were bursting in between my walls, and we found that the previous owners of this house used ROLLS OF PAPER TOWELS to plug pipes.After finding all of this we immediately called the Taggart Plumbing. My wife and I moved into our new house a week ago. We were installing a washer and noticed that the large amount of water going through the drain caused water to start coming up from the pipes and into our basement. After some trouble shooting we realized it was an influx of any type of water causing it, including our toilet water. We didnt want the water coming into our basement and werent sure if we could even use the bathroom. I called multiple plumbers and Taggart was the only one to respond. Specifically, their plumber named Visca answered. He arrived within the hour and assessed the situation. He then diagnosed it was a bad drain clog and we needed a clean out access in our pipe. He gave me a quote right then and there that was completely reasonable for the work required. This was during a snow storm and he went out in the snow and worked into the evening to fix the problem. He even fixed an issue that arose when cutting out pipe, going back out into the snow to getgthe part. During the whole process he was friendly and completely transparent. He answered any questions and showed me exactly what was wrong and how he was fixing it. There were zero hidden costs, I paid exactly what he said at the beginning. I highly recommend Taggart Plumbing and in specific must thank and recommend their plumber, Visca.

Where do I begin. I should say this will be long so to put it simply I had the best experience with Taggart-Visca did everything in his power plus more to fix the multiple and I mean multiple leaks that sprung up throughout the day. I would and will recommend them to anyone and will always call them first for any future repairs. It all started with a leak in my ceiling that seemed simple enough. It had done damage so I had someone out to remove the damage then I had contacted Taggart Friday night and they were able to set me up for Sunday (I was out of town Saturday). Thus begins the day. The leak in the ceiling was repaired quickly and went well. I was convinced I heard drips in my wall in the bathroom. He cut open the wall bam a leak. I thought I heard one in the other wall. Cut open the wall no pipe but a drop of water splashed past. Look up the to ceiling it’s the unit above me pipe that is leaking this time. Get that one fixed. He left. I sat down for a bit but thought to just look over the disaster that my bathroom had become... Another water drop splashes down. I call him back in disbelief no way it was happening again. Initially thought maybe wait til Tuesday but Visca came back same day (a Sunday evening at this point mind you) to rip down even more of my wall and ceiling. This leak was probably the most fun as it went from tiny pinhole drip to a tiny stream of water in seconds. Leading me to discover my entire ceiling and walls probably need redone. I have to say that through all of this he didn’t hesitate to find the leaks or rip through walls. He also kept up pleasant conversation which honestly kept me sane, almost have to laugh at these things or you’ll cry. Watching your place get ripped apart and seeing water splash down just isn’t fun but Taggart Plumbing and Visca made it bearable and repaired all of the damaged pipes.
