My most recent encounter with Krupp Whitney was exceptional. Mike S. And a coworker of his were digging up the road by my apartment in East Liberty and I was shocked how fast they had everything put back together and paved over when all was done. Normally this kind of service would take longer and sometimes left a mess afterward. I also walked past them at one point and spoke to the guys and they were very respectful and professional. Highly recommend

My recent experience with Krupp Whitney was great from start to finish. I dealt with Scott and he did a free consultation/estimate within 24 hours of us connecting; provided great detail as to the scope of work; and the pricing was very fair and clearly outlined. They cared for the property during the installation of a sewer pipe lining and billed accurately once finished. Every time I reached out to Scott with questions he was fast to respond and overall the team seemed very knowledgeable about the best approach to the issue (cracked terra cotta pipe section). Im a guy, personally and professionally as a Realtor for 14 years, that gets at least 3 opinions and estimates because I want things done the correct way but also know there typically isnt just ONE way to do it correctly. I interview the companies before letting them do the work especially with sizeable jobs like this. Krupp Whitney is a company I can trust moving forward. Krupp Whitney has been a life saver! After working with another plumbing company without success, Krupp Whitney was able to scope the sewer line and find the problem. Top notch service, pricing, and product. I am a new first time homeowner and I had a lot of issues with flooding within 3 days of buying the place. They replaced my sewer line within 48 hours and when you look at my gravel driveway - you can hardly tell anything was done! They did large job for me this past week and they were excellent. I had a Trenchless Sewer Line repair and a new trap installed. I had water backing up into my house so they came within 24 hours to hydro blast my lines to clear them out enough that the water would flow. the following week they did the Line Repair. Krupp Whitney just finished a trenchless sewer repair at my home with very difficult access. Their bid was half what a competitor would have charged, as Krupp was willing to bring in a mini excavator to keep the labor cost down. The job was done beautifully and the site was left in great condition when they were done. The guys were professional, experienced and polite. They did a trenchless repair for me at another home several years ago and we were very pleased with that job as well. I was given a very detailed quote letting me know exactly what portion of the sewer was on side & what portion was on a shared side with a neighbor. Donora didnt think there was a way to video this line except through the roof vent pipe, which is too small & far from where we needed. The tech had no issue taking of a pipe to the side of the home & connecting when done. Good job! (I ended up not purchasing the home, based on what was found.) Side note, I highly suggest old homes have this company line your old sewer line before they start collapsing. One cant line an already collapsing line.

I selected Nathan and team at Krupp Whitney to replace my failed terracotta sewer line, which included approximately 60 linear feet of 6 PVC replacement under my concrete driveway, along with the installation of a new house trap and clean outs per Allegheny County Health Department regulations. They were extremely responsive and professional with their work, and Nathan provided updates as to the progress of the work and what the next steps would be. Along with a professional product, they did the work at a significant cost savings compared to others. I would highly recommend Krupp Whitney, and would gladly use them again should the need arise.

Good communication, project was completed in just 2 days and for a fraction of the price of what a new liner would have cost. He promptly scheduled Mike to come over and run a camera down at no charge just to give me piece of mind and ensure new liner was functioning properly. Awesome experience Mike G. Was great providing information and educating us the client on what’s best for our home. Hydro jet cleaning was performed it cleaned and unclogged our main sewer line. Very responsive company. We ultimately wound up using a different plumber due to being able to schedule sooner. I must have called a dozen plumbers to try and get our burst pipe addressed and Krupp Whitney was by far the most responsive and helpful despite not being able to schedule us immediately. Can’t comment on their work but I will certainly consider them for any future and less urgent work I need done.

Ive had two experiences with this company, and on both occasions I was very impressed. Availability by phone during posted business hours is excellent, communication is consistently professional, and they were able to accommodate my emergent service request within 90 minutes, solving my plumbing problem within an hour of arrival and for a price that was more than fair. I will not hesitate to call Krupp Whitney in the future--its a relief to know that you have a service provider that you can trust to consistently provide a stress-free experience and get the job done.

I called late one evening asking Nate for advice on my bathtub. I didn’t think that I could fix it myself, so he offered to send a crew member to my house that very next morning! The crew member was polite, respectful, and got the job done very quickly and efficiently! Since we only have one shower/bathtub, this saved me a lot of frustration! Thank you so much guys!

Prior to the sell of our home, we unfortunately failed the required water/sewer line test. Our municipality gave us 2 options: 1 - reline/replace the entirety of line to the property line (40 ft) or 2 - dig it up and replace yourself.While we were eager to DIY, we realized the scope of the work including complexity and impending deadline for our close date (3 weeks). After several phone calls and quotes later, we found ourselves selecting Krupp Whitney for a few important reasons: they offered trenchless sewer lining; they were extensive and informative during the quoting process; they were available to meet the deadline; their pricing was fair and affordable.We spoke with Nathan who was professional throughout the process. His team showed up during the scheduled times and came prepared to work. The project took 2 days to complete and the crew was courteous/respectful of the property. Specifically, the excavation crew went the extra distance to ensure our driveway (gravel) was appropriately graded and topped with fresh stone - showing minimal if any, disruption.The project was completed on time and for a fair price. We were able to pass the dye test and sell our home (without lien or escrowed funds). We would definitely recommend Krupp Whitney to anyone in need of reliable and professional service.
