We had a new shower head and hand held nozzle installed by Matt Mertz Armstrong Comfort Solutions. Shane was our technician. He was on time, courteous and concerned. It required drilling into my ceramic tile. Shane took such care & time as he didnt want to compromise the tile in any way. He did an excellent job. And completed the job in a reasonable time. It did seem a bit pricey, at $450, but he did the job right, and we are very happy with our new shower features.

First, the receptionist was very friendly. I need ed the water heater installed the same day, she said they would be able to do it. Then we talked about the cost, she told me they had a sale on one of the models. There are a lot of other details but I was happy. The price was even lower than other calls. Chase is a credit to Armstrong Comfort Solutions. I showed him the room where the heater was, he told me he wanted to look at some things. Once we agreed about the work to be done, he worked non stop. He cleaned up when he was done and finished when he said he would. Chase is outstanding, he methodically and professionally removed our over 20 year old heater.

Brock replaced the riser on our gas meter in time for us to avoid being without heat when the temperatures were going near freezing. Armstrong willingly fit us in when I explained we had been without gas for three days. Other companies did not. Armstrong also provided the most reasonable estimate, and Brock was knowledgeable enough to advise us when the gas company did not complete the steps they needed to so we could correct them. Thank you. I highly recommend!

TJ was great. I dont know how much he makes but its not enough for how he went above and beyond to diagnose the problem and improved on my issue, even though the problem was complicated by previous home owners and some improper work that was done previously.Highly recommend and will use again.

Armstrong is always responsive and reliable. Had TJ come out and repair a heavy leak on a Friday night until 1 in the morning when several other plumbing services either refused to honor their “24 hour service” promise. TJ even did a courtesy clean out of our hot water tank duct. He followed up with another appointment promptly later in the week to replace an old pressure gauge as well! He was the man! Courteous, kind, honored a couple of coupons and service discounts, even though the repairs were expensive, it was worth the piece of mind in the service and work done by TJ with Armstrong Comfort Solutions. These guys are the best and on their game!

Rory gave us such piece of mind today. He was very professional. When he 1st arrived he asked me what my concerns were. I explained to him that we had issues with the sewage backing up and having sewer/drain flys 🪰. He reassured us that hed get everything sorted out and explain in detail what he was doing. He ran a camera scope thru the sewage line and found the problem. A 4ft. Section of terracotta pipe that was broke. Buying your 1st home is very stressful as you can imagine and he left us with a great estimate and reassurance that it could be fixed and that we werent running into an even major issue causing us thousands. I cant recommend them enough. Please dont hesitate to reach out to them with your plumbing needs. If we have any other issues we will definitely 💯% be coming back and using these guys. I am extremely happy with the service Myka performed on our HVAC unit. He cleaned the coil on the air handler which was quite dirty and the condensate drain which actually was clogged. Myka also cleaned the coil on our outside condenser unit which was very dirty. He also checked a myriad of other things such as pressure, voltage, amperage, and more on both parts of the unit. Ok, so this rating is based on how things were fixed on a second visit not the first which was a disaster. Lets just say that the first tech needs some additional training and didnt do anything he was supposed to do. Now Ive been with this company since the early 2000s and I know the quality I expect to see. As a matter of fact they put my furnace and ac in in 2015 and it has worked flawlessly since it was first turned on. So when the first tech messed up bad I called Bill and made a complaint, and here is where dealing with a first class company always pays off. Bill didnt hesitate to make it right. He sent one of his senior techs, as a matter of fact he was one of the two techs that put my furnace in, to give me another ac tune up visit. This guy did it right. He checked my ac, checked compressor lines and pressure, and did all the good checks that make it worthwhile to get these things done. I get two visits a year. One in spring to tune up ac and one in fall to tune up furnace. It only costs 210 dollars, I pay 420 because we have a condo they also check, and it is well worth it. Anyway, things didnt start out well because of a new tech that needs some seasoning but, like I said, when you deal with a class company they will always make it right and Armstrong did just that. Strongly recommend if you are looking for an ac or furnace company go here. I wouldnt go anywhere else.So I am posting a new review for work done by Armstrong for a plumbing issue today, 8/8/2024. Had a problem in condo my wife and I owned and had Armstrong come and fix it. Dan arrived and found problem quickly and fixed it. Mentioned that I wanted hot water tank replaced as they had a special going on. Next thing I knew they had it scheduled for Thursday the 8th, the very next day. Dan arrived and got to work. Installed new water tank in record time and it was a beautiful job. This is the thing about Armstrong, their techs know their business and dont waste time. Price, with special rate, was hard to beat and now have peace of mind at condo. Called Armstrong to give Dan an atta-boy, which he deserved, and then inquired that if I get my home tank replaced can I have Dan do it. No hesitation it was yes. So looks like Ill be seeing Dan again in a couple of months but that is a good thing. When you find good techs it best to never let them go. If you dont use Armstrong yet I would most certainly recommend them. Cant beat them. Sometimes their prices might seem high but they are not, believe me, and the work you get in return is quality.

I called knowing that they would be hammered with broken HVAC emergencies. The woman that answered the phone was great, people skills for miles. She got a plumber to come to my house within a couple hours and we discussed my leaking water heater for a few minutes, decided to replace it. I asked him if he needed anything from me. He was good so I jumped in the pool. He sent me a text when it was time to pay and boom, new water heater. If only all service calls were this good.

Dan was knowledgeable. He understands that we need a senior plumber. We shall always request Dan. We previously experienced a “junior” plumber with Armstrong Comfort Solutions. We suffered through a six hour service call that did not complete the job. We were told to request a senior plumber who finished the job in 20 minutes, we had to pay twice to Armstrong to complete a simple job to replace a spout. It truly makes a difference. Ask for Dan, senior plumber! I was trepidatious to call Armtrong Comfort Solutions. Thankfully it worked out well.

Armstrong was very quick to respond to my pipe leak, and suggested that it was time to replace the copper with Pex tubing. After a really good estimate, Im having most of the copper piping replaced.12/5 Update: Jim T. and Joe replaced all of my copper with Pex. Workmanship and attention to detail were first rate. No more pinhole leaks for me!12/29 Update: Problems with water pressure in my home. One call to Armstrong confirmed and resolved the problem. Plumber Terry B. was terrific - very knowledgeable and professional. He changed my pressure regulator without spilling a drop of water! Very pleased with Armstrong and will continue to use them for future plumbing needs.10/4/24: Exterior drain clean out well done by Chris and Caleb. Very satisfied!

I had a great experience with Armstrong Comfort Solution. From start to finish the install of AC was easy peasy . Called & within a day Tory came to the house. He estimated what I needed & gave me 3 options . 10 days later Darren & Ethan came to the house on a rainy day & installed my new unit . Ethan worked outside & Darren was inside ... a few hours later all done . They could not have been anymore respectful of me and my dogs. I am in a wheelchair & currently spend 24/7 at home ... it is fantastic to have the security of knowing that I have AC on some of these hot & humid days of Pittsburgh summer . Very pleased with the service we received from Mike K. today. He performed the annual routine inspection and servicing of our central air. It was a miserable weather day, with an all-day cold rain, but Mike toughed it out while checking the outdoor unit. Bad enough to get rained on, but to have to run cold water out of the garden hose, too, while doing that work -- he earned his keep. I was most impressed by Mikes going above and beyond the call of duty by fighting to change the air filter for us. Its very hard to get the old one out, given how the whole unit is set up. He tugged and pulled for quite a while, so that it came out in pieces. Ive had the same experience when doing it myself. But he didnt stop there; he re-shaped or re-positioned some of the sheet metal to make the opening more accessible. He showed me how to insert and remove the filter in such a way as to make it much easier in the future. I felt this was not something he had to do for me, so I appreciate it even more. Mike is a good guy and did a great job.
