    We had an unfortunate situation with a hot water pipe breaking, under the slab in our kitchen. The slab was hot and our monitoring equipment told me we were using 15 gallons per hour. Quite a leak, and we had visions of having to cut through the concrete floor that was custom painted to fix this.Fred from Wed Clarke came by and first permanently stubbing out that water line, then rerouted the hot water into the attic, across the top of the kitchen, down behind the fridge, then through the back of the lower cabinets (past both the oven and the dishwasher) to reconnect the hot water under the sink.The did it all without having to cut into the floor, or even cut into the drywall. When they were done there was no follow-up repairs needed anywhere, we have hot water again, and they left the place spotless. Throughout their work they kept me up to date on what was planned and on how it was going.I could not have asked for a better outcome. Now I know why they have so many outstanding reviews. Heres another!

    New note, 10/2024 - still the best!Original review: I would give Wes Clarke ten stars if I could. They were on time, knowledgeable, pleasant & honest. My Navien hot water had not worked correctly since install, 3 years ago, by a major Thousand Palms plumbing company. After multiple attempts to have the installer fix it, I called Wes Clarke Plumbing. At this point I was ready to PAY someone else to fix it; to heck with the warranty. I am so glad I did! They fixed switches, wiring, plumbing, and ventilation - all that the installer did incorrectly! My Navien works better now than brand new! I have a new plumber!Added note, 8/2024 - I just had another visit from the Wes Clark gang, to update and fix a couple things. They are simply the best around! They explain things clearly, they were clearly competent of the work, and I felt totally comfortable with them in the house. Another successful and pleasant visit! Everything works the first time.

    I recommend this company because they were able to check out my tenant’s leaking toilet the same day I called and installed a new toilet the very next morning. Ginger in the office is very personable and competent, and both plumbers I spoke to over the phone (Elizabeth & Isaiah) were extremely nice, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly to me and made sure all my questions were answered, which is particularly important to me since I’m not on site.     I broke the Toilet pressure when installing the bidet seat. I called Wes Clark and they were able to send someone out in less than an hour. Dave showed up, checked what needed to be done and gave me an estimate on the spot, so I knew what it costs before starting. He was fast, cleaned up after and was most pleasant.     Fred, and his helper came to fix an outdoor hose bib (if Ive got that right), and also replace to parts for a leaking sink in master bathroom. They were here a little less than an hour and I think it came to $467. Ive never hired a plumber before, so was clueless as to how much it cost. We had to put on a credit card in order to pay it off. But as far as I know things were fixed and they were very professional and Fred was very friendly.

    I needed a refrigerator water line valve replaced right away so that I could have a new refrigerator installed that day. I called many plumbers and they all told me 1-2 weeks for an appt. I called Edna at Wes Clarke and she told me that she thought she could get someone out the same day inbetween jobs! She had someone out to me within one hour, and he was very efficient.     I have a septic pumping company in the desert, now and then I need a plumbing company to do what I don’t do, or to refer to my customers.....I have used several.     WeHave used Wes Clarke Plumbing for years. Last night I had to call (on a Friday night) for them to come out this morning to repair our toilets and showers that were backing up. I just had a recent back surgery and my husband wasn’t able to get anything unclogged. Colleen who is fabulous came out this morning and got everything fixed. In addition to that she cleaned our shower which was backed up and made it all nice for us since I am clearly unable to do anything right now after surgery.We have, and Will continue to do referrals to other friends and people that I know looking for a great plumber.     I have used Wes Clarke Plumbing exclusively for over 18 years. They are fair, reliable, personable, and very capable of handling any of my problems.     We met the Wes Clarke Plumbing family in 2001 when we experienced a leak in our home. We had talked to a couple of the franchise companies who came out to quote wearing their mold suits and creating much drama and throwing around prices that could have rebuilt our home! My neighbor referred us to Wes Clarke Plumbing and boy were we happy they did. Wes Clarke came out and they were no joke!     We called with an emergency caused by a leak from an old pipe in an interior wall. We discovered the leak because our carpet was wet. We had no idea at the time where the leak was coming from. We moved our bed away from the wall that we suspected but had to stop there. The next morning Russ Clarke appeared at our house about 8:30 with a great big fan and a can-do attitude. Bing, bing, bing, he pulled up the carpet, put the fan under it, and had a “diagnostic plumber” named Dennis come over to identify where the leak was located. They found it in about ten minutes, and repaired it in about seven. Because the company also does contracting, we had a structural repairman appear the next day (when the carpet was dry) to repair the wall. Now, four days later, there are no scars—no evidence—that we experienced our mishap.Needless to say, we are very, very enthusiastic about Wes Clarke Plumbing and its personnel.     Our toilet with a toto toilet seat was making a high pitched bird call any time any other water was turned on in the house. I thought is was the toto toilet seat and was concerned wed have to replace it. Learned from the internet that this company was experienced with toto seats so made an appointment. Clint the technician showed up on time and, when he heard the noise and looked inside the tank, instantly diagnosed the problem as a defective Fill Valve and replaced the unit.     Recently we noticed water seepage under our kitchen floor, probably due to a pin-hole leak in the older copper pipe under the slab. Such pipe is prone to corrosion causing such leaks. The leak had probably been present for months. Rather than dig up the kitchen floor to bypass the leak, we decided to re-plumb our entire 3000 square foot home. We contacted several plumbing companies for bids. We wanted a local, family owned, reputable and competent company with a reasonable bid. We chose Wes Clarke Plumbing, and we are certainly happy we did. Russ Clarke, the current owner and son of the founder (Wes) was friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. His senior plumber, Colleen, ran a “tight ship”, and the job, taking two full days, proceeded flawlessly. The entire crew of five persons was top notch and worked as a team. The plumbing over the flat foam roof was copper, with PEX dropped through the walls. All fittings were new quarter-turn brass valves. With the exception of one tiled bathroom wall, all wall access to route the new plumbing was done through drywall. Their layout to avoid more tile damage was ingenious. No stucco penetrations were necessary.We hired a plaster contractor to repair the drywall and tile. Their price was reasonable and the work was meticulous and the result undetectable. Russ Clarke coordinated with Rancho Mirage Roofing to enclose all the foam wrapped copper piping with roofing foam, allowing for multiple areas of drainage. R M Roofing also sprayed a generous layer of foam over all exposed roof HVAC ducting. We used the special acrylic granular coating. The final roofing result far exceeded expectations.Where the city water reaches the house, a separate ¼ turn valve was placed to allow the house plumbing to be turned off, leaving the irrigation plumbing open. We can now travel knowing we will not return to a flood, but also knowing that the landscaping will survive.We are extremely pleased with the end result and highly recommend Wes Clarke Plumbing (and Rancho Mirage Roofing).
