DIYer handing it off to the pros… I had a tricky new toilet install as the existing water valve now blocked the new toilet placement. I called Shafer to get a quote to modify the valve to accommodate the toilet. They quoted a very reasonable price, did not try to up-sell me on anything and in fact the tech performed a newly discovered needed repair and no additional cost. I was very appreciative. Shafer Plumbing Contractors: Great response, great job, great price!

It was easy to get a transparent estimate online, and Stacy booked an appointment for us with a 1 hour arrival window.Raul arrived on time, reviewed the estimate and goals, checked the issues, and went right to work. He was knowledgeable and respectful of the property; he even wore his own shoe covers and was mindful of the space. He got a tough job done in no time. He reviewed what was fixed, had great communication, and made the repair stress-free.I would highly recommend Raul and Shafer Plumbing.

Derek arrived at our home and quickly evaluated the plumbing problem. He carefully redesigned a new pipe configuration. With Raul joining him, they opened up the drywall and installed new pipe and new connectors to correct a sewer backup. Reaching out to Shafer Plumbing was a smart decision. Weve used Shafer for about 3 years after they did a great job putting in a new hot water heater for our home. Our previous plumber had just retired and I was thrilled when I found out Shafer is a complete service plumbing company. No matter the job they work with you to get the right technician to the house as quickly as possible. This week Taylor arrived right on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, did the outside part of the job first and then came in the house (used booties without being asked), finished quickly and left the place spotless. Plus hes the nicest guy and clearly knows his stuff. I would recommend Shafer to anyone.

Our water heater stopped producing hot water so I initially called our home warranty service. Not only did they wanted to charge $75 just to inspect the system, but their contractor was completely booked for a month. We have 4 kids, so that was not an option. I called Shafer Plumbing, who came the next day and inspected our water heater for free and when it had to be replaced, they replaced it in a couple of days (mostly because I returned their call late in the day). I highly recommend their service. We have used and trusted their service for more than a decade over several properties and not only are they highly competent, they are quick to respond and their prices are very reasonable.

I cant say enough good things about Shafer Plumbing. After calling them to get a second opinion on a leaky pipe, they sent a plumber within one hour. Their estimate was nearly $200 cheaper than our first estimate from a different plumbing company. Raul, our plumber, was quite friendly and professional. He gave a courtesy call before showing up, came on time, walked us through each step of the repair, and cleaned up after himself. He even willingly took a look at some other light plumbing repairs. After he left, he texted us a summary of his repairs, and a personal reference for the drywall. Communicating with the office and billing department was easy and seamless. 5 stars + for Shafer plumbing.

Technician, Raul, from Shafer Plumbing is very knowledgeable and honest. He did a fantastic job. He installed a Gas Valve controller for my Rheem water heater. Rheem sent me the a new controller and instructions sheet. Initially, I thought I can do it myself. But I wanted to go with a professional. Raul came in looked at my Gas connection and told that the current connection was not installed as per California Code. He explained why code is enforced. He installed T type connection to prevent the damage further caused by some substance that might come as part of the gas.Overall I am totally impressed with the work that was done. Planning on taking Shafers help for my future home improvement projects.
