    Had an issue pop up with the toilet in a single bathroom apartment. It’s a bit older and the plumbing is touchy. I googled for help and found Rescue Rooter. I sent my very basic info and a customer service rep called me immediately, asked for additional info, and put a call out to techs in my area. She called me back within 30 min to tell me the name of the tech, the service time window, and ask if I had any questions. The tech arrived in a timely manner, did a free assessment, tried one fix that failed, and told me the next steps. Since the fix had failed I was not charged and received assistance in what to next after getting definitive answers. Highly recommend. Luis was my plumber and very helpful! And I forget the name of the customer service person, I believe it is Donna thought, but she was great as well.

    Great experience. My hot water heater was replaced within 24 hours of my contacting Rescue Rooter. Tom came to my house in the morning to see what I needed and Eric arrived early afternoon to install the new unit. All was done by dinner time.

    Tom gave us a reasonable price for all the work they were required to do for the permit plus a few extras I wanted done to our old system.The technicians Eric and Ricco? (Sorry I already forget) were very helpful and did a lot of work for us. Unfortunately there were a few complications and some miscommunication as to what tank should have been installed. Other than that the work seemed first rate.

    Our plumber was very Efficient, personable and thorough in his explanation of what was going to be done. Hiring a plumber can be scary process but he made us feel reassured throughout the process by explaining things in detail and being friendly (bedside manner).     Eric did a great job .Everything is up and running I hope it will last the unit is just over a year old .So unfortunate it went out .We paid $1445.00 and the warranty was up and we had to pay diagnose fee and installation fee .We never even got manual or paperwork stating the warranty.     I love that this is a company that operates with integrity. I wanted leak detection services.Eric checked one of the areas I was concerned about thoroughly and assured me what I was hearing was nothing but the condensation from the heat dripping back down the pipe.     Im giving 5 stars for their response time and overall customer service only. The folks on the phone are courteous and polite. As was the technician who was also prompt and professional. I didnt use their services as their price is outrageous! It was a simple garbage disposal swamp. Same model, size, etc. No additional hook ups, changing/moving of pipes, p trap, wires, hoses. I provided the Insinkerator 15SS 3/4 HP, with cord, that he would connect. He wanted $589.00 dollars. Then they wanted to negotiate, like buying a car at a dealership. Finally price they offered was $350.00. I understand trying to turn a profit, however price gouging is unacceptable. Ultimately went with a company who charged $150.00. A reasonable and fair price for a less than 1 hour job. It took the technician 45 minutes.

    Eric was very friendly and professional. He is a very knowledgeable plumber. I like that he spoke Spanish and was able to explain the process to my parents in Spanish. Before he began Installing the water heater, he explained the whole process and after he was done, he explained to us how to maintain the water heater.     I am giving Rescue Rooter 5 stars because of Eric Diaz. I contacted RR through Lowe’s for a water heater. Eric gave us 2 options after seeing pictures of our current setup. I was going to go with a lower cost option through Home Depot. Eric was very helpful to point out considerations that could increase the base price from the other bid. RR offered a fixed price and Eric worked on his day off to provide me with a fair price and answer my questions. He came the next day to install the water heater. He did a very nice job. I appreciated the professionalism and genuine desire to get our business. Hopefully we can now make it through the permit process without issues from the city.

    I am impressed. They did what they said they would do, kept appointments and were totally professional in workmanship, attitude and manners. I first dealt with Luis who fully explained the various options and potential configurations. I decided the best thing to do was to replace the entire Heat Pump unit and air exchanger. There was no sales pressure at all; I knew the units were old, the coolant had been banded since 2010 and was gone, and to me it was not worth making attempts to repair. This was going to be a difficult job as the 4 ton unit was coming off the roof of our 4 storey condo, the new unit had to be installed there, with the balance of equipment to be installed on the third floor. The 2 installers (one was Michael) arrived the day they were scheduled and started in. Once they were there it was discovered there was a problem with the size of the air exchanger ordered that was going in the house; it was slightly too big, so they arranged to get the smaller dimension unit delivered that day. They worked on this project from 11:20am until 10:50pm to make sure everything was right with the instal that day. They didnt quit at 5pm, nor 6pm, instead they asked it they could continue working which was fine by me. Who ever heard of installers working that late to make sure you are satisfied and the physical instal is completed? The next day Louis returned in the morning to finalize the electrical wiring, and testing. Meanwhile I had already been called by the company to set and appointment for the state inspector to come a few days later. The quote was a little higher than another I had, but it was well worth it; you get what you pay for. Professional all the way meeting my requirements, everything beautify cleaned up by them, and they were very conscientious and respectful of our home. Great job, Im very pleased

    I’ve used this company twice now. Once for a sewer pipe lining and now for a hot water heater replacement. Both times they were on time and incredibly professional. Before they did any changes they consulted with me and made sure I was happy with the change. I really appreciated this level of customer satisfaction. While not always the cheapest they were more than happy for me to get other bids. What made me pick them time after time was following up with permits and making sure the work was done right without cutting corners.

    Yesterday we discovered a leak from our garden spigot. We called Rescue Rooter on Sunday and they arrived on Monday morning. They diagnosed the issue and proceeded to fix the problem in an efficient and timely manner. They are not cheap but this was not a project I would give to a handyman. I will use and recommend Rescue Rooter to friends and family.

    The communication to set up our appointment was flawless and the technician arrived within the scheduled window! He was very friendly and personable (drawing a blank on his name unfortunately!)     I can’t say enough good things about both the quality of service and professionalism I experienced with this company, but company aside with pricing and policy and warranty (which was great), it is the team of professionals that i was truly impressed with. From the first call to the last appointment the team was incredible. My main sewer drain was clogged up and infested with roots. Mike, the site supervisor and John the incredible technician were first on scene. They diagnosed the problem efficiently and explained everything throughly. After the first visit we required further work which John helped to supervise, but his excellent team (Chris, Marlin and O’Brien) took care of the matter with ease. These guys not only work seamlessly and know exactly what they’re doing but they are respectful and courteous to no end. I don’t write reviews usually but these guys deserve a shout out. And if you think their pricing is too high, then you need to think about how much it will cost you to bring in a plumber who messes things up for you. They stand by their work and provide a significant warranty which I like.Plumbing issues suck but I have all the confidence in the wold with this company and team of professionals. Highly highly recommend their services!

    The technician Zach, was very knowledgeable and kind. He took a lot of time explaining the importance of replacing my filter every 3 months and even spent the extra time showing me exactly how to replace the filter myself.     Tony came to check the air conditioner. After going through the whole system, he found several areas that were not put in correctly or were left out completely. He showed me pictures to help explain what the issues were.We agreed to have him correct the errors put there by another company.He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was very patient with me to help me learn how to use the new thermostat.I consider him the top-of-the-line, the kind of workmen that is very hard to fine. He is very trustworthy. Very nice and professional young man that was very honest about cost of repairs vs replacement and gave us options. He did a replacement with such ease and cleaned up everything.     Ive been using Greenstar for several years now since moving to Laguna Woods in 2016, and Ive been consistently impressed by their employees and their professionalism and workmanship. The staff office are always courteous and efficient when you call them, and they call ahead to inform you of arrival times on the day of your appointment. When Greenstar installed my new water heater in 2017, I purchased a maintenance program which they have serviced on schedule and in a very thorough manner. This month the water heater maintenance was performed by technician Christian, and he also replaced a corroded kitchen valve, accompanied by his supervisor Manuel. Both were super helpful, friendly and considerate. I should also mention two techs from last year, Robert Moore who installed my new kitchen faucet on 6/15/18 and Eran (spelling?) who unblocked my toilet on 7/25/18, and also the gentleman whose name I dont have who fixed another blockage that year. All excellent and very professional. They explain everything in detail and will give detailed advice and estimates. Thank you, Greenstar folks!

    Had a great experience today with Rudy. I called this morning with an issue involving my kitchen sink backing up when I ran my dishwasher. Rudy came out very quickly and was beyond helpful with the issue and fixed it, and dealt with all of my questions like a champ so I knew exactly what was going on. He also noticed that my faucet was loose and he went ahead and tightened it for me which he did not have to point out or do.     I have used Rescue Rooter for two separate services. The first, I had my water heater go out and was in need of hot water. Rescue Rooter responded quickly, quoted me for a new water heater, and installed it all within a day. The service was phenomenal! They were very informative, we’re not pushy, and answered all of my questions. The installers (which I don’t remember their names) went over and beyond and retrofitted my water heater closet so that I wouldn’t have any issues in the future.With how well the service was for my water heater install, I decided to reach out to Rescue Rooter to install my new washer and dryer. Daniel was the technician who responded. I told him where I wanted the install and he took the time to check if it was possible and also gave me options for other places to install the products. Daniel was quick, efficient, and professional throughout the entire install. At the end of the service, he left me with his business card and told me to reach out to him if I had any further issues, questions, or future plumbing needs.Approximately three months later I noticed my water piping was backing up while I washed clothes. At first I had thought it was due to the install. I reached out to Daniel who immediately said he would respond as quickly as he could. He showed up right on time, checked the pipes, and found that the issue was from backed up pipes (nothing to do with his install). Within 30 minutes, Daniel cleared the back up, and was finished with the service.Overall I have been extremely impressed and pleased with the service by Rescue Rooter, but more importantly impressed with Daniel’s service. I would highly recommend Daniel (and Rescue Rooter) to anyone who wants quality service, fair pricing, and honest work.

He was extremely thorough with his diagnosis (Checked all pipes and clean outs for proper usage unlike Mike Diamond) He also cleared the clog with ease (Mike Diamond “wasn’t able to” and wanted to pull up the toilet for $500+).     I had Greenstar Home Services out to run a cable through my main drain for prevented maintenance. I made the appointment for Saturday morning and received a call early Saturday morning informing me that a job prior was taking longer then expected so I gladly rescheduled my service for the following Monday morning, being that my service wasnt an immediate need. The Plumber Eric F. arrived on time and was very professional with his appearance and communication. He took every precaution to ensure a safe work area and preformed the service as requested. He recommended that I should get a visual camera inspection of the main line since my home was built in the 50s. The Plumbing repair Specialist, Mark H. came and ran the camera in my main line and we did discover some minor cracks, but no root damaged, so no additional service was needed at this time. Mark was also very professional and explained exactly what I was seeing on the video screen as he was running the camera through the main line. I highly recommend everyone to reach out to Greenstar Home Services when you have a plumbing issue. I didnt use them for any HVAC services but Ill definitely be reaching out to them for their HVAC services, when needed, based on my positive experience with the plumbing.

They came out to inspect our water heater and then did a complete check of our plumbing/water-using equipment (toilets, faucets) & outlets.During the inspection, there were many areas that Christian, our technician/service person, found which included various leaks, broken emergency shutoffs, and many other areas I was not aware of.     Our heater went out just before Christmas. Our system was installed by Right Time and we had a maintenance contract with them. In the past, we had a lot of issues with Right Time technicians always trying to sell us more and more stuff instead of just focusing on doing the proper maintenance and/or fixing the problem as inexpensively as possible. Greenstar bought them out. Some of the technicians from Right Time were really nice but didnt know what they were doing. After several appointments, we finally had someone who came out who had always been with Greenstar, and he knew exactly what was wrong and was able to fix it without charging an outrageous amount of money.     I had a main line clog, and water was backing up and pouring out of the bathroom shower pan. After some initial cleanup, I called Rescue Rooter and was pleasantly surprised to hear they could arrive within 90 minutes (on a Saturday). Armando, the tech, went straight to work on the issue. He unclogged the main line and explained everything along the way. Super friendly and professional. Highly recommend and very satisfied.

    We had a clogged sink, dishwasher and washing machine drain on a Saturday evening. It was a little stressful because we have been using our appliances more since we started sheltering in place. I called rescue rooter and they scheduled me for the next day. They were right in the window they had given me and called ahead as well. Mark came out and was extremely knowledgeable and took extra time to make sure he had gloves and a mask. He also cleaned all of his equipment before coming in. Mark and Andy took me through a step wise process to clear the clog. If cabling doesn’t work then we hydrojet, if that does work then descale. I felt comfortable that they had a plan and knew what they were doing. The hydrojet took care of the clog and they sent the camera down to show me it was clear. Mark even stayed around to make sure my washing machine was working properly and address a clog that was there as well. Overall they were very professional and took the time to explain all my options to me. They did a great job cleaning up and staying until the job was done to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend rescue rooter.

    In this day and age its hard to get people that are honest and trustworthy and who really take the time to explain things to you so that you know exactly what your options are. Thomas is just that person he was on time he was cordial he was knowledgeable he found the problem right away and then gave me the options to having it fixed. The company as well is great they kept me posted on when the technician would be here and I just think this is a AAA star company please keep up the good work.

    Had a backup in the kitchen and laundry. Called ARS / Rescue Rooter and Collin was at my home in a short amount of time. He explain what he believed the issue to be, quoted a price to perform the service and cleared the blockage in no time. Great service and value.     The technicians who came, Homer and Joe, displayed excellent customer service skills. They explained everything, allowed me to observe, and taught me some things about my property that I hadn’t known. They were much better than previous service I’d had with a more well-known company.     Tony and Antonio very professional explaining the overall assessment of my furnace and what options I had realistically.Explained costs and what benefits of taking Plan A over Plan B; very knowledgeable and polite on fielding questions I had.Polite, explaining every step and what their schedule since they have to get Permits from the City of Laguna Beach.Felt these gentlemen did a very good job and would recommend them to neighbors that might possibly have similar problems with their furnaces.

    Daniel and his team were so professional. We had a HUGE job, they clearly explained the procedure, time frame and cost involved. Everything went as planned. They cleaned up so nicely and put everything back in place! They then clearly explained and showed us all that was repaired. I liked that they left us some of the old parts so we could really see the yuck but I also liked how they worked with our work schedules. We would definitely use them again!

    Had some difficulties with scheduling the original maintenance on my furnace (2 no notice cancellations on their part and one rude phone operator). But Greenstar rallied: added some perks to my club account and scheduled a 3rd service day completely at my convenience. Not to mention, the techs are always so knowledgeable and polite when they come to the house. Its been RAINING for 3 days and there was not one boot print in my house. Andy was awesome, changed my filter, too, and was in and or in less than an hour.

    This was the first time I had to call for a plugged drain. The response was immediate. I had 3 other plumbing issues that had gone unattended and ALEX took care of everything. I have to say that if ALEX is indicative of the caliber of plumber that they use then it is 5 stars from me. He was efficient and did such a great job. One frozen pipe that I had behind a fountain was tricky and he handled it with ease. He was approved by my German Shepherd and Alex also tolerated him! Many thanks Alex..

    Our shower drain was clogged and we had spent half the day trying to fix it ourselves. Decided to hand it over to the professionals, called Rescue Rooter. Not only was our first point of contact very nice, dispatch called us minutes later to say someone would be at our house in 25 minutes. Scott arrived earlier than expected. He was very nice, knew his stuff, and fixed our problem. Even wiped up some. So thankful for them! Price is what I expected, especially being a Saturday night.

    Mario was excellent. He was very efficient solving my plumbing issue quickly and then educated me on how to try to resolve before needing to call and what signs to look for upstairs and downstairs to know if the issue could be just a clogged pipe or more serious with root invasion.     From beginning to end, a pleasant/helpful experience. Natalie was so nice easing my mind with my toilet & tub/shower issues, as I was in a slight mode of panic when I first called. James was great with keeping me posted on ETA and overall communication/payment questions. And once Rudy arrived, my life was saved!! He was very nice, knowledgeable & well mannered.     Luis came to check our heater after replacing our AC this summer. Turns out there was a wire loose on our heater. He tightened the wire and the problem was fixed. Luis is friendly, respectful, and honest. We would highly recommend Greenstar Services.
