    Morey from Maccabi Plumbing & Heating was very responsive and helpful when I called in for an emergency steam boiler situation on a Sunday morning last month. Told me the bad news that I would need to get it replaced however he did not pressure me into buying/installing from his company. Few days later, I had scheduled to have the steam boiler installed with them since the pricing seemed reasonable. They did a great job with the installation, and even removed a dead raccoon from my chimney that I didnt know was there! Overall, Morey and his team was pleasant to work with. They were efficient and able to answer questions as needed during the whole process. Would recommend them to others in the future.

    The plumbers at Maccabi just helped us out with a rush-job toilet replacement for our mom who recently had hip surgery.     I want to take the time to let those in need of a plumber know just how much I appreciate the services performed by Morey and Maccabi Plumbimg and Heating. When my boiler went down recently in my home, I immediately contacted two different plumbing services locally who both told me they couldnt get to me til hours later and the second til the following day. On my third phone call, I contacted Maccabi and Morey, owner himself, responded to me within minutes and wound up showing up at my house within just 2 hours of my initial phone call. He didnt upcharge me, nor did he take advantage and was very fair in providing his services to restore my heat. He was courteous and understanding while letting me know he guarantees his work. I honestly will never need to search for another plumber again as I put full trust and faith in Maccabi Plumbing and Heating and the expedited services they have to offer!     We have used Maccabi Plumbing & Heating a number of times over the past few years - sometimes when time was critical and others in the normal course. We cannot speak highly enough about Morey and all of his people we have had the pleasure of meeting. They are responsive, competent, courteous and efficient. They show up on time, do a great job and stand behind their work. Most recently, Jay and Robbie helped us after the very heavy rains when the pipe connecting our sump pump to the drainage system was breached. The were able to quickly repair the problem and cheerfully helped with the cleanup.

    I called Maccabi based on a good friend’s recommendation when my sump pump malfunctioned. The customer service was top notch and they worked with me to get a tech out to my house before the next big storm hit. The tech that serviced my sump pump was Jonathan G, who was punctual, professional, and kept me updated throughout the process. I was so impressed with the job Maccabi and Jonathan did, I decided to utilize their services for the installation of a new heat/hot water system, which was done flawlessly.     I couldn’t be happier with the service with Maccabi Plumbing. My new faucet and shower were professionally installed quickly and efficiently at a fair price.Everyone was also highly knowledgeable and took the time to explain all my options to my problem. I explained that we would always run out of hot water after the kids shower and never have enough to fill the whirlpool tub. A tankless water heater was the perfect solution. With unlimited hot water, it’s one less thing for our family to fight over.

    I had a great experience working with Maccabi! We had a water leak issue outside of the house. The water company rep only told us that there is a leak in service pipe somewhere, but did not offer a solution. Maccabi were able to detect the issue right away and fixed it within an hour.     After hours of calling other “local emergency services” when our heat went out on one of the coldest nights of the year, you were the first to say you were available. To be honest, I was desperate, and happy to get anyone to come out at 10 o’clock at night.     I called Maurie on Friday afternoon, on July 4th weekend, with a badly constructed kitchen sink that had finally sprung a large leak and flooded my kitchen. Within an hour, Maurie’s crew had come and put together a temporary fix to get me through the weekend with assurances they would come back on Monday to reconstruct the piping properly. They were respectful, timely, reasonable, and extremely professional. Very impressed!

    Maccabi came quick! Has recent issues with our water only in the master bath not getting hot.Maccabi came the next day to install a new shower and faucet and we had hot water back on.     I called Morey at 3pm on Monday, August 3 because I just learned that my sump pump was not working and the storm ISAIAS was due to hit us by morning. Morey called me within 5 minutes saying he would be here by 6pm to install a new pump. He arrived, and went to work. Completely done AND cleaned up in 45 minutes. Explained how the new pump works and how quickly and efficiently the water would be pumped out . Gave us the booklet on the new pump and the invoice with all important information on it. To say how pleased my husband and I are is an understatement. He was in Brooklyn when I called already working on another job AND he had another job lined up AFTER he was finished installing the pump for us. He didnt even think for a second as to whether he could help us. He made it happen. Who, in todays world, does this? Not many would run to the rescue of someone they dont even know. He is professional, quick, KNOWS what hes doing, on time, fair with price and as nice as he could be. We are beyond impressed and ever so grateful. A 5 star rating isnt enough!     I bought an old house with oil heat, after two winters i realized it would be more efficient to switch over to gas, Maccabi Plumbing did all the plumbing and electrical work that was needed in order for the switch and my heating bills went down tremendously this year. They also called up after 3 months of doing the switch to make sure that all is working and that my house is warm enough. The workers were professional and answered all the questions i had.     Had an emergent situation late at night where our shower wouldn’t turn off and kept running water.     Maccabi plumbing was amazing. Morey really saved us. We were experiencing a lot of issues with our shower/ bathtub. The handle that turned on/ and off the shower kept detaching from the wall making showering very complicated. Often we could not turn on and off the water, or change the temperature because the handle kept getting jammed. Morey came over and made sure the job was done perfectly and would not leave until our shower handle worked like new! He was super professional, friendly, helpful, and kind. They ended up accommodating me and coming on a Sunday as I couldnt take time off of work. Their price was quite reasonable and they finished way ahead of schedule. I will be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future. Highly recommended.
