I live in Illinois and have a rental unit in Florida. My renter called me at 7:50 PM on a Sunday and informed me that the water valve to the toilet was leaking. Needless to say, I felt helpless. Being a Sunday night and being so far away, I resorted to Google and searched plumbers in Ft Myers. After reading reviews for Best Home Services, I called them. The person I spoke with was knowledgeable and professional. He contacted his dispatcher and told me someone would be there within 1-1 1/2 hours. To my surprise, a technician showed up in less than 45 minutes. My Technician was Wesley. Although I was dealing with Him by phone, he was courteous, professional, and very thorough. He explained the problem and the best solution to fit it. His communication was excellent.My renter was very happy with Wesley’s demeanor and professionalism.I would not hesitate to call Best Home Services should I experience future problems with my AC, plumbing, or electrical.

Camron did a great job fixing my blocked toilet. He was kind and polite. He called me to let me know when he was an hour out. He not only fixed the clog, but also checked the septic system to make sure that was functioning well. I appreciate his thoroughness.Prior to Camron arriving I was a bit frustrated with the delays and lack of communication. Hopefully they get that figured out.

Mario was great!!!! I had partial power due to a bad feed wire coming off of my meter. I called two other electricians who both no showed on me. I called best home services at 7:30pm on Thursday night. I had a tech here within 60 minutes and my issue was completely resolved the following day. Im very happy with the customer service, honesty, and work ethic. Ill definitely be using them again. Again, Mario was great. Mario even tried to work quietly and patiently , because my dog was very anxious. I can’t recommend Mario/Best services higher.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it seemed crazy expensive for a little over an hour’s worth of work, but the pricing isn’t his decision. Needed a light replaced in the garage that malfunctioned. Having a kid and with it being the holidays, we are in and out of the garage quite a bit and the light completely failed. I called my handyman who didn’t have any availability and an electrician that we had used before and they couldn’t get us in for several weeks so it forced my hand into trying a new company. I’m very happy that I called Best Home Services. They sent Richard A. out the next day who installed the light for a fair price and efficiently. Also arrived on time.We also asked about having our irrigation panel switched out to one that was Wi-Fi ready and instead of upselling us on that he was honest and informed us the one we had was already Wi-Fi ready saving us 100s of $$$. We appreciated his honesty and work ethic and are grateful to have light again in our garage!

In the end his price was very comparable and would have been of less trouble. Involved sending a tank back under warranty. He was prepared to do all that and save me the trouble. I had my hot water tank replaced by Phil, one of the most thorough, polite, kind and efficient professionals I’ve ever had come to my home. Phil arrived in the early evening, after a long day, and stayed until the job was complete, just so I wouldn’t have to be without hot water. He also was very careful not to damage anything when removing the old tank and kept the job site very clean. Manny was superior. He was able to understand what I wanted and needed and explain exactly what he was going to be doing with the job. Being an older home, there were a few problems and Lee County Utilities had to be called to shut off the water at the street and return again after the job was complete. This tied up Manny (the plumber) but he was patiently waiting and working on the next job.The job was done in a timely manner, Best Home Services has a one year warranty on Parts and Labor, and I will be using this company and hopefully Manny again.I found him prompt, courteous, professional, and well mannered.Thank you Manny Zamora, you are well appreciated.

Shain S our plumber came out that same day to look at the problem; he made her feel totally at ease and the installers came the very next day to do the job. James and Daniel were amazing! Very impressed and satisfied. Had an HVAC system replaced. Quite expensive compared to other providers but able to replace a failed system in 3 days rather than weeks. Employee TJ was very nice and quickly troubleshot the problem to a failed condenser unit. TJ told me about their replacement products andwas available for questions even after the sale. The 2 BEST employees James and Danny arrived on time and worked efficiently during the refit. They were thorough, professional and communicated well. As a retired Airline Mechanic I was impressed with their skills and knowledge. The only reason for the 4 star rating was BESTs initial cost far above other quotes. You get what you pay for however and Im satisfied with the results and quality of their work.

I don’t see how they could have done any better. I guess that’s why they are the “BEST!!”

Jake Allen was our technician man today and he did an outstanding job. Jake had to correct mistakes that two previous servicemen did by improper installation of two UV lights which were causing the filter to disintegrate. Jake was professional, courteous and helpful. If this correction had not been made, the filter would have disintegrated while we were away From Florida for the summer months and cause harmful damage to our air-conditioning system. We believe Jake should be recognized for his excellent work ethic. At the same time we leave to previous to technicians should be trained properly and furthermore, I don’t believe we should have to pay for the initial insulation as again it was done incorrectly please. Would recommend avoiding. Gave them two stars instead of one because they more or less showed up when the said they would, and the tech was a pretty nice guy. However, they did cancel once with only one hour of notice. The tech just didnt have enough experience to do the job well or correctly on his own. In fact he didnt even bid the job correctly- requiring a 50% change order a few hours after I signed their contract. What is strange is when I called to question some of the work, the tech called me back rather than a supervisor, and then he pretty much gaslighted me. When it was obvious no one else from Best was going to get involved I just let the tech try to finish. Im probably going to have to clean it up with someone else, which is particularly annoying because their pricing is not a bargain by any measure....Best Home Services responded to my review, reached out, and corrected the issues. It wasnt easy or fast, but they got it done.
