    After five failed attempts with other plumbing companies, no shows, no phone calls back, going three weeks without water, A-1 Affordable Plumbing was able to find and fix the leak. They Showed up on time, were very professional, and highly intelligent to do this job. I guess nobody wants to do hot water slab leaks, 😅. but this company did a great job. Susie was excellent on the phone and dealt with me very kindly as I was pretty anxious. Brian is an extremely intelligent plumber. He was able to locate and fix the leak in no time at all, as where the other companies ran from the job. He and Jefferson were very kind men, and I speak highly of them. It was comfortable having them here. On top of all this, they did a great patch up job. I was impressed. I definitely recommend this company.

    Brian showed up on time and is an expert in his field. He found both showers had their cartridge valves installed improperly by a previous licensed plumber. He corrected both issues and didn’t have to replace the cartridge valves and that saved me lots of money. The problems were unique and difficult to access (prior plumbers spent a couple of hours trying to correct and never did) but Brian got the job done.     These guys were awesome, especially Brian. Couldnt recommend them enough. Came in and fixed some issues we were having with a bathroom sink faucet and one of our toilets leaking and running all the time. They were knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do. Didnt beat around the bush. Straight forward, very reasonable and honest. Will definitely recommend to others and for sure use them again in the future for any plumbing needs.

    I used A1 affordable plumbing this morning.Two skilled technicians , Walter Rivera and Andy Westby began immediately to rectify clogged drains, low pressure and loose toilet parts. They never took a break even when I offered them coffee or water. They checkedoutdoor connections and every sink, toilet, faucets , showers andprofessionally solved each and every problem.     Yocelyn and everyone at A-1 Affordable Plumbing are very professional. I live in Chicago and I have a rental property in Naples,FL and my renter called me that the water heater was bad. I called A-1 Affordable Plumbing and they had an opening and they inspected and the water heater was bad but it was still under warranty and they replaced it asap. They could have easily lied since I am Chicago and charged me for a new water heater but they were honest and only charged me for labor. The renter was happy and I was even more happier.     Holden and Walter arrived on time despite some schedule changes. Holden quickly diagnosed the issue, then got access to the plumbing and confirmed, fixed and tested. Walter spoke perfect Spanish and English and was able to work with upstairs neighbors to test the solution with water flow in the upstairs unit. They were flexible as we waited for the neighbors and did really good work at a reasonable price.

    Ok so my water line in the attic over my guest bath decided to spring a leak on Friday late afternoon. I shut off the water and early Saturday morning called A1. The tech was there in 2 hours and assessed the situation. This guy crawled up into my attic which the entrance is on the complete other side of the house and crawled through a living hell of rafters, blown in fiberglass insulation all in 115 degree heat to find the leak. After all of that he returned to his truck and grabbed the necessary tools and parts to cut out the bad part and install a new one. Then...he did it again!! Problem solved!!I have a little drywall staining to repair but there is no way I could even fit up in the places this guy walked. These guys are expensive. BUT...they get it done and done right the first time. A1 is A+ in my book.

    11/15/22 Golden Gate area: Grateful Customers For Life!A few hours after bringing our 89 year old mother home after a hip replacement, we tried to fix a slow filling toilet and burst the water pipe to the master toilet instead. This was Saturday afternoon.A-1 answered our call and Jordan was over within 30 minutes. The pipe was repaired and toilet functioning within the hour.After a short discussion, we scheduled the installation of 2 replacement toilets to be installed Monday. A-1 sent two extremely nice, on-time, professional and understanding plumbers to replace both toilets.     I called Christmas Eve afternoon and the owner, Jordan, answered the phone.  Usually the boss is the first one to go home but I think he was a good boss and let his employees go home after forwarding calls to him.   I was comparison-shopping for a water heater that was just starting to leak.  He answered all my questions and did not rush me.  He quoted me a price, told me what I could expect based on different scenarios, and was even able to get me on the schedule for the first regular business day morning after the holiday.  Plumber, Bryan, came as scheduled, was nice and personable, and did a neat, efficient job.  Owner, Jordan is a man of his word! Also, all his employees worked well and pleasantly with me.

    This is an overdue review due to my service I got 2 weeks ago from A1. I had a leaking shower that was installed by a DYIer who previously owned my home. The shower would leak water out like a geyser while in use and drip all night when not. A1 sent Thomas to my home who at first trouble shot the leak and found the gaskets were bad. After replacement the leak continued. So Thomas showed me the option of a full replacement for the shower system. I approved of it and we settled for the price and time to do so.The following week A1 called and let me know the plumber Thomas was back on his way over to remove and replace my leaking shower. A1 is very professional with making appointments and letting you know when the person is coming to your home. Thomas did a wonderful job with the removal and replacement. He showed me where he made a the adjustment to the wall and filled in the holes with putty. And also how to operate the shower once installed. Thomas cleaned up well after performing his job for me and I was impressed with the work that was accomplished. I highly recommend A1 Plumbing as an aircraft mechanic myself that knows good tradesmen work and professionalism when I see it.

    Jay was great. He assessed the small leak I had under my kitchen sink and explained what needed to be done in no time. I felt confident in him because of his many years of experience. We discussed two options. I went with his advice and he changed out the pipe section. He also did an inspection of all the plumbing in my condo unit quickly. I felt reassured that the rest of the items in my apartment, which I purchased very recently, were in good working order, after my real estate pre-purchase inspection.     We arrived home to find water bubbling up around the water meter. Called the water department to get the water shut off. They suggested A1 Affordable Plumbing. Great choice!! Then he used a long snake to get rid of it. Before coming I was told what the camera charge would be and they stuck to that price. Then the snake charge was very reasonable.     We had a leak in our home that no one could find. We called 7 companies and they all left us in the dark. We called A-1 and told them the scenario, the owner Jordan and his manager Troy came out and not only found the leak but made the repair so clean minor demo to our home. We were so worried that they would have to cut out our tile and jack hammer a huge hole in the middle of our kitchen but that was not the case.     Had the best experience today for my plumbing needs. I called A1 Affordable in the morning needing a quote to replace a shower valve and trim. They mentioned someone could be out between noon and 2pm and the exceeded that expectation by coming before 11am. The technician Brian came and to a look at the job and told me that A1 would be the best for the job and a flat rate compared to other companies out there. Brian left and called his office and gave me a quote and was able to come back and complete the job same day and within 3 hours. He was very sufficient and thorough doing to work and explained everything to me when asking questions about the work being done. Brian cleaned up the debris form the job and left so we did not have to touch anything ourselves. I highly recommend A1 and Brian to anyone who needs day to day pluming needs.
