I love supporting local, small businesses, especially when they are as professional and responsive as Hunter Plumbing. They are pleasant, communicative, they show up on-time, they do excellent work and they back up their services if you have an issue. I wouldn’t use anyone else!They just installed a new water heater for my Dad. Again, excellent and timely service. Dawson was a pleasure to work with. He was very personable and professional.They recently fixed a problem with an outdoor pipe at my house. They came right out and took care of the issue very quickly.I’ve used their services for several years now and I recommend them highly. Kathy and Eric (the owners) are terrific.

I can’t say enough about Hunter plumbing. Called Eric at 8:15am Dawson was here by nine and Mark soon after. I had a leak in the backyard. 5-6 years ago I had a concrete pad poured and it was damaged then. Actually bent into a 90 degree bend that decided to start leaking now. These guys were amazing and totally professional. Eric even stopped by to make sure they didn’t need anything. Three hours later and things are all good and back to normal. I know who I’m calling from now on. Oh and very reasonable price. Plus a 10% senior discount. I couldn’t be happier.

I called Hunter Plumbing Service for a drainage issue in my house. Appointment was made via phone and a very nice young lady took my information and a details of our problem. The appointment was scheduled and a time set-up for arrival. I received several texts confirming my appointment and was advised who was arriving with a picture. The technician arrived earlier than expected. The technician ( Erik Hunter ) was actually the owner and he got right to work on the problem. Erik fixed it in no time. I will be using Hunter Plumbing Service for any other issues I have and I recommend them. Theyre a locally owned business with ties to the community. Our house is fairly new so this is the first time we went out to look for a Plumber. I wanted to deal with a local family owned business. First place I called, the answering recording said if you are on our platinum service plan, press 1 for expedited service.. I knew that wasnt for me so I hung up and called Hunter. I got a same day appointment and Harley came and installed our garbage disposal. What makes this a 5 star review is his professionalism. He removed all the old parts and took them away with him ( some repair people leave it with the homeowner to dispose of.... Im talking about you Sears..). He even filled out the model and serial number on the warranty card so I wouldnt have to crawl under the sink to get it. I guess weve found our new go to Plumber!

Since moving to Myrtle Beach I have been constantly annoyed with trying to get any contract labor accomplished. This company blew me away by their responsiveness and professionalism. They were amazing. They moved some pipes I wanted moved, unclogged a drain, and installed a new undercounter bathroom sink because it was cracked and leaking. They showed up fast after the initial call and showed up when they said they would for the other appointments. They did a fantastic job for us! They have an automatic communication system that let me know exactly when they were on their way and sent out reminders of my appointments with them. We searched for reliable plumbers in the area on Next Door Neighbor and Hunter Plumbing Services repeatedly came up so we took a long shot and called them. We had two toilets that were running and in need of repair and also wanted our hot water heater drained and a general inspection of all the plumbing in the household to detect any potential problems. Years back we would have tackled some of these items ourselves, but due to being in the golden years, my husband with parkinsons and me currently in my second fight with cancer, we needed to hire professionals this time. They answered our call on Monday and came out on Tuesday afternoon to take care of everything which was great. My husband was here when Dave arrived. We are very pleased with the service Dave provided. In addition to toilet issues we knew about, he found a shower faucet that was in need of minor repair so he took care of that while he was here. Erik and his 2 assistants replaced the sewer line from the point where it exited my home to my property line. This line was original to the house so was somewhere between 50 and 60 years old and causing major sewage drainage issues. I saw the completed new line before the guys replaced the dirt and it was beautiful! Once Erik and the guys had cleaned up and restored my yard, I could hardly tell any digging had been done. The job took just over half a day and I felt the bill was reasonable considering the amount of time and effort involved to complete the job. Hunter Plumbing has done other big and small jobs for me since 2019. Hunter Plumbing will always be my go to plumbing service.

Kathy even called a few places to see if they had one and sent me a couple of numbers for others to try unfortunately we weren’t able to locate one.
