Excellent work, very knowledgeable tech. I thought the pump was bad (binding), but he correctly diagnosed the problem as a bad motor. The motor and pump seals were replaced. Some 30-year-old valves got new o-rings and one PVC Pipe screw-together fitting was replaced and re-plumbed to fix a leak and prevent a future problem with overheating. I was very impressed with the work and service.

Deb was fantastic to work with over the phone scheduling an appointment for Mike to come out and install a new pool pump for us. Mike Helm came out and really did a great job removing my old pump and installing a new one. He initially tried to see if I could salvage the old pump by diagnosing the issue with the capacitor, tried replacing it, but it still didn’t work. Then finally he installed the new pump for me. Mike carried out his job like a true professional. He even helped me out educating me on my equipment. Pool tech is a very reliable company and have a good dependable team of people behind it.

Their technicians and office personnel diagnose my repair needs accurately and charge a fair rate for their work.Update: Mike Helm did a great job fixing a problem with my Polaris cleaner. Tom was here this Spring to fix a leak and work on our heater. He found the leak and got the heater going again but he explained why the heater did have much life left in it. So today, I got a great estimate from Mike and we’ll be getting Pool Tech to install a new one soon.I’ve been using this company for at least ten years. They were recommended by my pool supply store (One Stop, now Poseidon). I’ve always been very happy!

I found this company via good contractor site. Skimmer on my fiberglass pool finally gave up. Two winters of feezing ice blocks inside the skimmer finally took its toll. Customer service, ethics, moral values are what you want in any great contractor, and i found that in this company! I live outside there normal support area but they stayed with me and did a 5 x 5 outstanding job replacement of my skimmer. I write this about 5 weeks later after that repair. If you want Outstanding people who stay in contact with you for the entire repair process and do great work, please give them a call!

The best Pool Professional Technicians in the business. I had pool and spa lights replaced and spa leaked repaired. They were not in a hurry. My pool-Spa was loosing a foot of water a week. Did some basic trouble shooting and narrowed it down to the Spa drain. Waited 3 weeks on a guy who stood me up 3 times. Googled searched Pool Repair and found Pool Tech for leak detection. Based on some pretty solid reviews, I called and spoke with Deb. Liked how knowledgeable and friendly she was and learned that their price for leak detection was about $150 less than expected. She let me know they do a comprehensive leak inspection because 2-3 leaks aren’t uncommon.The summer was starting to get really hot. They were busy but she managed to get me scheduled within a week. They found one big leak. They had to cut into my cool-crete, a square hole about 12-16 inches in diameter.This is where you have to decide to if you want to fill in your pool with dirt or pay. It’s quite expensive. I’m pretty attached to my pool so I went with them. If it’s a leak near the surface, you will pay over a grand. If they find deeper leaks the price can more than double. But that’s the nature of the beast. They were able to work me in the following week.Fortunately my leak was not a deep one and the job was completed in one day. You can tell where they cut through the deck.Was impressed how they did such a neat job. Of course they arent going to color match the paint. They managed to get a similar but different shade of color.That does not bother me. My pool is over 35 years old and could use some cosmetic work. It’s been a couple of months now. I have no regrets. They did good work and Deb did a good job of talking me through the process.Courtesy, straight shooting about costs and very reasonably priced. I will use them again. Hopefully not too soon.Lee

I needed to replace my old pool filter and needed some re-work done on my pool cleaner booster pump. Ive used Pool Tech in the past and they were great, this time was no different. Scheduling was a breeze, and they even brought all my new equipment with them from One Stop in Plano (super convenient).On the day of install, I received a text when the tech was on his way. He arrived a few minutes later. We talked about the job, confirming the details and he set off to removing the old equipment. The tech was very self sufficient, knew his trade and finished with my new setup looking and performing great! After he cleaned everything up, he even moved my old filter out to the curb for bulk pickup.Pool Tech continues to provide excellent and professional service, and I wont hesitate to use them again for future needs.

New parts ( Salt based chlorine generator ) upgraded by pooltech are much better than I expected. Very fast service and honesty throughout transaction. He fixed the connection on the booster pump, replaced the strainer pot for the pool, replaced the strainer pot and filter for the hot tub.
