Just got off the phone with Don - need some help evaluating non-code electrical issues in a house we may purchase. What an absolute breath of fresh air in what has been an otherwise stressful experience! Helpful, kind, responsive and went out of his way to get someone to come out on short notice to do a bid. Will update if/when work commences, but so far, I totally understand all the positive reviews for Harmony! Thanks Don :)

Don Harmony provided excellent service, good communication, and reasonable costs for his service. I would especially recommend him if you have an older house that needs updating. He rewired, added outlets, and installed modern light fixtures-- all with efficient effort and thorough care. He also answered his phone when clients called during working hours. He has been the only craftsman who answered every time I called, and he always let me know ahead of time when he would come. Don, andhis partner Brian, also gave us an excellent price for all of their work. I expected to pay at least double what they charged. I highly recommend Harmony Electric.

Don and his crew were able to swap out 2 faulty service panels for me and set us up with an actual ground wire so we could meet code. It was a quick turn around from the quote. His crew finished work quickly and ahead of schedule, and they waited patiently while inspectors were delayed. Very reasonable, definitely will use Harmony Electric & Lighting again.

Very responsive and quick to get work done/scheduled while still doing an amazing job. Minimal damages done from the knob and tube removal - just a few 3 in holes from replacing the wiring to all the light fixtures in the house. So easy to work with, and went above and beyond when a few things came up during the work (for instance, when our sconces turned out to not have a switch on them, they installed switches on them for no additional charge). Couldnt recommend more and will definitely be going back to them for any more future electrical work.Competitively priced as well, especially considering the quality of work done - other estimates were even slightly more.

I am extremely pleased and satisfied with the knob & tube replacement work that Harmony Electric has completed in my Prairie-style Craftsman house near Lake Monona. From estimate to job completion their work has been outstanding. They treated my house with care and made sure that each night during the project I had working lights and power for evening activities. Harmony Electric sets the bar for excellence and I recommend them to all who need home electrical services.

We had an issue with kitchen outlets that needed to be fixed to sell our home. We had an older home and the wiring went right alone with its age - not only did it get fixed, Don returned x3 to be sure everything was perfect. Great service, great people! If I ever need electrician work in The Madison area again- it will be with Harmony!!!

After a electrician from a different company cancelled at the last minute we were happy that Harmony Electric and Lighting could come on such short notice. Best of all they were very efficient with getting the job done in a timely matter. Would recommend and use this company again.

Highly recommended!! Great company...worked with Don and Kevin who listened to my electrical issues and came out right away to make sure it wasnt a fire hazard (which it wasnt), but still fixed the problem the very next business day. Customer service at its best!

My wife and I have used Harmony Electric and Lighting twice so far. We found Harmony to be very efficient, cost effective and very responsive to our needs. I have every confidence in their work and plan to use them for any future work. I also have recommended Harmony to friends and neighbors.

Harmony was suggested to us by our plasterer during a walkthrough of our house. We were interested in having some electrical work done and she suggested Harmony and that we have it done before she did her work.I contacted Harmony the next day to set up a visit. They were quick to respond and scheduled a time to come out and do a walkthrough and estimate. The estimate was very reasonable and we scheduled the work. The day of the technicians showed up about 90 min late, but since I had the entire day off it didnt cause a problem. They worked for approximately 5 hrs to do everything we needed and then clean up. In total we had a bathroom exhaust fan installed, two wall outlets installed, a bedroom light replaced with a ceiling fan, a kitchen light replaced with a ceiling fan and three recessed lights installed in our hallway. The end product was excellent (there was some plaster damage, but this was expected and our plasterer is coming out in a month anyway) and we are very satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend Harmony and we plan to have them back to do some more work in a couple months.
