What a wonderful experience. I called Sam needing some electrical work done. He responded right away, and then came out within 2 days to give me an estimate. He completed the work 3 days later after getting materials. Its rare to find someone who communicates so well and does great work. Sam does both. I couldnt be happier with the job he did. If I ever need more work done, Sam will be the first one I call. Highly recommended!

Sam did an excellent job of tracking down an issue with my porch lights and got them working again. He also put up a sensor light by the barn so that I have light by the hydrant and barn door. I highly recommend him and will be having him back for other projects I have!

I had Sam upgrade my panel recently and I am really pleased with the service he provided. During initial contact he was very responsive and informative. He helped me plan and work with town permits, inspection requirements, and coordinated with utility company. He came out and scoped the job and then quickly had the materials and scheduled a date. He was on site and had the work completed and power back on when estimated. There were no surprise costs or deltas and have not had any power issues post install. I highly recommend him for your electrical needs!

It’s good knowing that there is a local small business doing better work than the big guys up in Cuse.We needed a hot tub wired with a disconnect panel. Called Sam and he was there within 2 business days to scope out the job and plan it out. Received an estimate immediately and the job was complete within a week of that. Took him less than a half day and we were enjoying the tub the next night!Sam and Troy are great at what they do. We had some logistical issues with where to place the panel, and they came up with the perfect solution that I never would have thought of. Really happy with the work and the entire experience.Can’t say enough good things - thanks guys!

Sam Matteson was excellent to work with. Sam got back to me quickly after my initial inquiry on the work I needed done. He came to my home to estimate the work a couple of days later. The next day he gave me the estimate. It was a reasonable estimate given the complexity and scope of the work. We then agreed on the actual work date. He contacted me several times prior to the actual work date to coordinate and get my approval on the exact materials needed. He arrived on the work date at the exact time we agreed upon and immediately started the work. He was professional throughout the entire process and answered any questions I had during his time here. Upon completion of the work, he cleaned up the work areas and then showed me the finished job. I would highly recommend Matteson Electric for any electrical work needed.

Sam came to my home last Sunday to repair my electric service after ice had fallen. He worked all afternoon in 2 feet of snow and found i had a very serious problem in my panel and wiring which he immediately turned off and made safe. He was very fair in his service charge as well, and I would recommend him to anyone who needed prompt trustworthy service.

I first reached out to Sam for help with a faulty light switch. He was responsive, prompt, and explained the entire process and the costs associated with the repair. Given the positive experience, we then hired Sam and his team to do additional electrical work, including the installation of recess lighting throughout our home and the hardwiring/installation of a garage utility heater. Throughout each project, Sam provided detailed and fair estimates. He patiently answered questions and explained the work. He was responsive by text throughout the projects. We will definitely use Sam again!
