After a long search for the right house generator that included manufacturer, cost, service, system reliability and, long term support, we chose Heritage Generator in Madison.The installation team lived up to their promised high standards and the final installation of the generator and supporting gas and electric infrastructure fit nicely next to our HVAC unit. Additionally, the interior work that had to be done to convert with our circuit board to accept the generator was done with very little disruption in the house.We considered our decision was spot on and we would highly recommend Heritage Generator.

We’ve had our Heritage generator for just over a year now. It was the best decision we have made. After months of research I reached out to Heritage and discussed our needs. Everything about the process was easy, the installation was coordinated well and our whole home generator works great. Automatic transfer on power failure is quick and text and email updates are informative. The scheduled service to keep our generator running when we need it is also convenient. We are very happy with Heritage, the staff, and the quality of our Cummins generator.

We recently had an extremely close lightning strike near our home. The power instantly went out and our Kohler generator didn’t automatically kick on. I immediately reached out to Greg from Heritage Generator. Within an hour, they were there and replaced the control board that was fried from the lightning strike. This was absolutely excellent customer service! Thanks Greg!

We searched the reviews, asked lots of questions, consulted with owners of various generators. When it came time, we decided on Kohler.Greg sat with us, explained their products and options. Once we agreed to the installation, thanks to Jeremy, it was quick and painless.Two days after our installation, we had a cold snap. I am very happy with the decision to go with Heritage Generator for my whole home generator system. Automatically turns on, plumbed into natural gas, automatically turns off when power comes back on. The team at Heritage is incredibly responsive to calls and emails with questions or support requests.My neighbors actually made fun of me asking me to stop showing off and at least turn off my outside lights next we lose power!

This company was there when I needed them and they are always monitoring my generator system. They were able to solve a problem that other companies couldnt.I was sure glad to have my generator up and running last night during the tornado warnings we had. Keeping my family safe is my number one priority, and they are there to help me accomplish that.

The folks at Heritage have been awesome to work with, they were knowledgeable about their products and went out of their way to make sure we had the right equipment, and that it was installed properly. They also have a great maintenance program which I highly suggest customers do after their purchase.
