We had a good experience with Dash Electric. Dan was prompt and got us scheduled within a couple weeks. He did a great job installing our lights on the front of the house and got everything done we asked within the day he was here. We have gotten many compliments on our lights! Dan is the epitome of a professional. Hes clearly an expert in his craft, delivers results, and has great communication. All at a competitive price.For our project he rewired our half of our house. He installed new recessed lighting, outlets, light switches, bathroom fixtures, and a wired fire alarm. The building inspector was even impressed that he updated the notes on our electrical panel.He went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. It looks fabulous, and we cant recommend him enough!

Im a general contractor, with 44 years of experience, from Iowa who was in Madison doing work on my daughters new condo. I called Dan at Dash Electric because of his proximity to the condo. I could not be more pleased with the service I received. Dan looked at the job after hours, showed up to do the work right on time and with all the needed supplies. He was prompt, courteous, and cleaned up after the work was complete. I was shocked when he told me what I owed him because of how reasonable the bill was. We regularly pay 50% more for the same work in Iowa and Ive hired 100s of electricians. I would highly recommend Dan to do your electrical work! I wish he lived closer to my projects in Iowa.

I recently had an EV charging station installed in my condo garage parking space. Dan was very easy to work with and helpful in determining the kind of charger to buy and how many amps the charging station should be able to use. My condos electrical service is quite dated, so I wasnt able to get as powerful of a charger as I had been hoping, but Dan was still able to install all the necessary components so that I could have a level 2 charger. His quoted price was accurate (and much more reasonable than some of the quotes I received) and was able to get in quickly to do the work.

Dan Leonard , the owner of Dash Electric , personally installed a brand new electrical panel ( to upgrade the electrical service ) , installed new recessed lighting in the ceiling in a new kitchen and some new outlets . He did a good job for a fair price . I would use him again .

Can’t recommend Dash Electric enough! Dan helped us with our kitchen remodel, removing the old wiring, rerouting and installing new lights, switches and outlets, as well as replacing/upgrading our electric panel. From the time I submitted a quote request on his website, Dan was super responsive with his communications and very helpful throughout the project. His prices were fair and his workmanship was top-notch. We’ll be sure to call Dash Electric for our future electrician needs!

The wiring in our 100 year old house was updated from knob and tube in a craftsmanship manner.1. They maintained the architectural surfaces of our house. This was done by developing wiring routes that put the work through surfaces that could be seamlessly repaired.2. The price was fair.3. They were always on time.4. Dan always text and let me know when he was coming and subsequently arrived on time. He was very responsive and got our work done very timely. He did all the electrical for a new bathroom (light fixtures, under cabinet lighting, fan and heated floor) and interacted/contacted the local building inspector. He also graciously fixed additional outside electrical outlets not in the original scope of our project. Dan was a referral from our plumber, Aqua Plumbing - who is also excellent. I was having a dishwasher installed when we ran across some electrical issues. I called that morning and within a hour we had someone at our house. He was very professional and able to get the job done quickly. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and we will use Dash in the future.

A bit awkward on the phone, it was overall a great, efficient, no-nonsense very professional experience, having two light fixtures installed and a switch fixed. Really pleased with how quickly and efficiently it was done within a week of calling. The pricing seemed to be what you would expect, but I am not sure because I dont hire electricians a lot. I would highly recommend giving Dash a try if you have something you need help with!

I called Dan on Friday, and he stopped down on Saturday to look at the project. He agreed to do the work around my schedule. Came in first thing Monday morning and did a great job. Will be contacting him for any electrical work moving forward.
