Wow! Ryan T. And Anthony are legit! They know their stuff. My HVAC was done by Martel 3-4 years ago. That was top notch. This time I had a water main upgrade and a 40-gallon water heater replacement with “The Works”. While they were at it, I had them replace my water spigot with a new shut-off. They had everything done while I was at work. My wife came home about half way through the work. Once they were done, they were very helpful and explained everything in full detail to be sure my wife felt comfortable with the work. We can’t recommend them enough. Martel is the way to go for your plumbing and heating needs!

Ryan T. came out on a Saturday within 30 minutes of us calling the office. No “emergency fee” like some places hit you with. The work was fairly priced, it’s always sticker shock, but this fell in line with what I expected. The work was fast for what all needed to be done. Cleaned up any mess, tested the pipes, and explained the warranty. I’m pleased with the experience and will certainly be making them my go-to plumber.

I had a difficult situation where I hired a heating company at a lower cost to install two boilers and after they installed only one incorrectly and disappeared, I called Martel Plumbing back. Kyle and his crew helped me out, installing the previous spoiler correctly and also a brand new boiler. They did what they said they were going to do, and did a beautiful job. I can’t thank them enough and would highly recommend their services!

Martel recently replaced the circulator pump in my furnace. Prior to the replacement, Mark, the technician walked me through the options, tested the pump and confirmed that it needed to be replaced. I must admit that not only was the job completed in a timely and professional manner, but he was also patient, in answering any questions that I had making sure that I was satisfied. As for the pricing, I feel that the work that was done and the way in which it was completed was well worth the cost, which by the way was made clear before any work began. We purchased a multifamily in Cumberland and needed to add a new boiler for the second floor. We worked with Kyle on this job. While working with Kyle and Martel Plumbing was a very positive experience, there were plenty of headaches from the gas company during the meter install. When I tell you that Kyle played a crucial and instrumental role in getting this job completed for us, I am not exaggerating. Many times he fielded the appropriate responses to RI Energy when I was beside myself with the various questions or issues they raised. Kyle is extremely knowledgeable, communicates clearly, answers every phone call and has great contacts within the industry which made this job much smoother for us as the customer. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend Kyle and Martel Plumbing again and again.

The two installers, Chris and Darian, are professional associates one can be proud of. Right from the beginning both went about installing the new boiler making sure everything was correct. Around 9pm we noticed that our 7 year old gas water heater quit supplying hot water and began to leak out water near the central exhaust / flue at the top. I had seen a Martel service truck at a neighbors house last week and looked up the reviews which were overwhelmingly positive. I called around 9:30pm and left a message. I got a call back from them first thing in the morning asking if Id like someone to stop by shortly. Ryan T. was here in our basement diagnosing the problem before 9am. We had a few other unrelated plumbing issues we wanted him to take a look at and he was happy to do so. Ryan really listened to us then explained solutions to each problem and gave us an itemized quote for all of it, breaking it all into tiers for us just in case we wanted to just deal with the important stuff first and the rest some time later. We decided to have Ryan knock it all out today and he was done by early afternoon. Ryan T. is an exceptionally hard worker, incredibly diligent, super patient and informative, respectful of your property, and does beautiful, clean work. I highly recommend Martel Plumbing and Heating and Ive got to give one more shout out again to Ryan T. Stellar work buddy. Thanks again for helping us out today. Met John last spring for a quote on booster pump and sump pump. Was not the cheapest but very professional, on time, and thorough. Held off until I got water in basement from storm last week. Called him and he said he would honor the quote even though 9 months old. Ryan and Ben just left. Talk about professional, friendly, and neat as a pin. Booster pump super quiet, sump pump install looks like it came with house. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Once again, Martel Plumbing and Heating have come to the rescue. Our furnace and boiler broke on New Years Eve. No heat in the house except for our space heater. Called Martel for service. They came the next day and said it had to be replaced. Kyle came down and gave us our options and set up a date for the following Monday. On Monday we had a crew of three guy, Jimmy, Jake and Malik. All three worked long and hard, very polite, and friendly. Six hours later I had my heat back on, boiler and tank replaced. Looks and feels great. I have used Martel several time before and would recommend them as the best. Thank you all for always being there.

I originally met them at the RI home show and told them I wanted to replace my old oil system with a new propane combi unit. They came out to look at the job. The proposal wasnt the cheapest and it wasnt the most expensive. The proposal was very detailed which I liked. They came out when they said they would be here and started the job. There were a few hiccups but there always is. They tackled them and forged on. The job was complete in 2 days like they said it would be. That night I had a small issue and called them, they were there first thing in the morning to fix the problem. Now it is running as it should be.They were very detailed oriented and did a awesome job. They were very clean, polite and respectful. I will definitely use them when I am ready for heat pumps. Yes I would definitely recommend them. I dont think you will be disappointedGreg

This is the second time we have used Martel Plumbing and Heating for a major project and they were just as awesome as the first time. We just bought a new house that had no air conditioning at all. Greetings. My name is Tony Scott and I greatly appreciate the opportunity to talk about my Martel Plumbing & Heating Experience. I first learned about the at a Home Show held in Providence RI not to long ago. Ive been living in my current single family home in Attleboro, MA since 1999. The systems in the home are all electric and Ive been searching for several years to find an affordable means of lowering my home energy cost. For years I was convinced that Solar was the best option... I pursued at least 4 different companies and came very close to moving forward however, for one reason or another[ concern about the aesthetic impact, dubious financing options, uncertainty about the month to month effectiveness of the system ], I elected to hold off. While at the home show, several companies made presentations touting the benefits of conversion to ductless systems. The presentation made by representatives from Martel Plumbing and Heating was particularly interesting and informative. For several months I held onto packets of information from several companies. Mid year in 2024, after doing some research andanalysis, I decided that an updated ductless system would be perfect for my home. I made phone calls to 3 companies ( to include Martel Plumbing and Heating), reviewed my needs and invited company reps to my home to make an assessment and generate quotes. The quote from MP&Hwas selected due to better pricing, high quality system vs premium quality systemquoted options, and with all honesty.... I just got a better vibe when speaking with company personnel. Cutting to the chase... Ray Landry was exceptional throughout the entire process. Every moment.. polite, professional, patient, thorough, flexible and informative. Rays persistence to ensure that a Mass Save rebate would be incorporated was especially important to closing the deal.This week, the work was actually completed.A team of 4 ( Mark, Doug, Malek and Zack )did the majority of the work. As a team, they demonstrated excellent comradery, helping onne another when needed... with serious attention to the quality of the work at hand. But, what I found most refreshing was their unscripted back and forth playful banter. Their selection of music was also quite interesting and enjoyed- a blend of 70s erathrough present day music. Loved it.Throughout the 2 days of installation, I had multiple concerns, suggestions, and/or requirements. Each team member welcomed my inputs and provided courtesy and knowledable rebutle. On day 2, the electrician (Tim) and his team arrived and seamless completed their component of the installation in a few short hours. It was an amazing well orchestrated ballet. I have to note, just one small example of how considerate team members were... while in the yard amongst the grass, one of the guys noticed a pile of animal feces. To avoid it from getting tracked into my home, an old tire was placed over it. Similar examples of care and consideration were demonstrated by all of the team members members throughout the installation. I am extremely pleased with the end product. He was so courteous and prompt, communicated about everything he was doing, answered all my questions, and did a fabulous job on the install. Easily the best service company we’ve worked with so far. Can’t comment on the value unfortunately since we have nothing to compare it to, but the price felt fair.We’ve since used Martel for issues with our AC and a broken pipe in our attic. The real test of a service company is how they conduct themselves when something does not go according to plan. In my case, a repair was conducted last Fall to my residential central air conditioning system. Over the winter a valve leak caused a loss of refrigerant pressure. Martel recognized this as something that should have been noticed during the original repair and took full responsibility and fixed the system for no additional charge. Commendable! This is a company that values integrity, performs high quality work, and takes care of customers.

I was introduced to Martel by my neighbor who had them replace their furnace. I had Martel quote a replacement of my 35 y/o gas furnace and separate hot water heater. We now have a new furnace and a hot water holding tank, with a single power vent instead of two. Jimmy was super responsive to the quote. Martels subcontractor removed the furnace yesterday. Jimmy and his partner did a super professional job with removing the HWH; they set up in our walk out basement with all tools. All is in today. Jimmy tested both floors (first and lower level) and gave us a thorough review of the systems and functions. Glad he recommended a single power vent which will save us money as well as a more efficient boiler. You wont go wrong with Martel. Great work!

I had a great experience today with Martel P/H. I spoke with Jessica this morning regarding a request to replace a water heater that began leaking at 9pm last night, Jessica was very helpful and was able to schedule a tech betwen 11am and 1pm. I received a call from Ryan (tech), he asked a few questions about the job, and within one hour was on site with the new water heater. Two hours later the heater was installed and up and running. Ryan was very professional and neat. As a retired, self employed carpenter I appreciated how clean and organized his truck was. Ive dealt with many tradesmen over the years and I always judged a person by the way they keep their tools and equipment. Job well done!

Due to minerals in Cumberland water, it wasn’t possible to repair the old one. I ordered a new one and they came this am to install and repair another couple of issues they discovered while here. It’s an old house and these were hidden. I was surprised they warranty for 2 years. Nice.
