I’ve known Rob for many years, I was leaving to head out of town and my water heater had gone out. I scheduled an appointment with him and he had it repaired and operating when I returned home, nice clean work.

Rob Boatman, owner of Blue Moose Plumbing, was highly recommended by our neighbor here in Lincoln. We had a leaking ball valve which fed the water line to the back of our refrigerator. Rob removed a section of the wet drywall, ran new copper pipe in the wall and installed a new ball valve and flex hose. The quality of his workmanship is outstanding. When I asked Rob to check the water pressure to the house because it seemed very high, he discovered the shut-off valves contained in the lawn box housing the pressure regulator were so corroded they were not functioning and needed to be replaced. He came back two days later and did a great job of digging up the old lawn box, replacing the PVC with copper and installing two new valves and a new pressure regulator. See pictures. Rob is everything you would want when hiring a plumber. He is honest, competent, communicates well, cleans up his mess, etc. But most impressive is Rob’s innate integrity. This was demonstrated when he was almost finished with the project, and noticed a very tiny leak in one of the soldered copper connections that was caused by having to solder to the pipe connected to the city water. That was not allowing the solder to flow properly. That leak was so small it would not have caused a problem in the lawn box that gets wet almost every day from the lawn sprinklers. But Rob worked for more than an hour, soldering and re-soldering until that tiny leak disappeared. Rob could not leave until everything was perfect. Believe me, you will be very happy if you hire Rob as your plumber.

Was delighted with the thorough explanation/diagnosis of what my plumbing issue entailed and options on how to address including trade offs. Rob was willing to give his frank opinion on several choice points of the job which I appreciated. During the work another small problem (additional leak area) was discovered Rob included fixing that issue without increasing the cost estimate. Rob took extra care to protect the floor and cleaned everything so there was not a trace that he had been there other than my gleaming new replaced faucets! I heartily recommend Blue Moose Plumbing! Very knowledgeable and customer service oriented.

Rob Boatman (Blue Moose Plumbing) was highly recommended by a longtime friend. Our longtime friend was a plumber, who is retired now. He had worked with Rob Boatman and said he was excellent! We called Rob Boatman (Blue Moose Plumbing) and have now used him multiple times. He saved us when our water supply line to the house had broken. He has replaced water valves for our pool. Our Rinnai tank less water heater was having problems where the hot water would suddenly go to cold. Rob flushed and cleaned out the Rinnai tank less water heater and replaced the gas ignitors inside it. It’s working great now! Rob Boatman does GREAT work. He is very professional, honest, reliable and shows up when he says he will. We love his communication. We get a text message the day before reminding us of our appointment. We get a text message the day of the appointment when he is 15 minutes away. He honors his quotes. We are able to pay by credit card and an invoice is texted to us right away.

Blue Moon Plumbing is the Best! Rob is Excellent!I had an emergency situation when my son in law tried to put a new kitchen faucet in. After 2 trips to True Vaue he told me he couldnt fix it. There was something stripped with the cold water thing and he couldnt find replacement.So I had no water frm my kitchen faucet but I did hve a big flood under the sink...I called Rob at Blue Moon Plumbing and he came out the very next day. He was even able to come earlier than the appointment time. Rob put on Blue Foot Coverings before even entering my home!He went right to the problem and resolved it. YAY!Rob explained everything clearly to me as he was doing the repair. Rob gets big bonus points frm me because he cleaned up the area and took my broken faucet set away.Rob is very professional,knowledgeable, friendly and reasonable with his rates. I will definitely use Blue Moon Plumbing again if needed and will refer Rob to family and friends 🧡

I was in a bind because my gas company locked my propane tank until I got the leaks on my stove and water heater fixed. I called up Rob and he was able to quickly fit me in that day! He showed up at the time he said he would and got to work locating the leaks. He got them sealed up and replaced an old valve which was the culprit. If you want a no-nonsense, reliable, honest, local plumber, then give Rob a call.

Wow! Great experience. I had a shower that had not drained well for quiet sometime. I finally decided to reach out to a plumber. I called Local Plumbing and scheduled an appointment over the phone for the next day. Rob showed up right on time, diagnosed the problem quickly, and gave me a few options to fix the problem with a price associated to each option. Rob cleared the drain in a timely manner and left the area very clean. I was able to pay with a credit card which is awesome! Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Local Plumbing to anyone.
