Our Leak Technician, Bradley Johnson, was a breath of fresh air--polite, knowledgeable, professional and EARLY! Because he knew what he was doing, he found the leak in a very short time, could tell us how deep the pipe was, and assured us the rest of the pipe wasnt leaking (within the feet we were looking). Line Locators is an excellent leak detection company in every way. If you are in need of leak detection services, I highly recommend them. This spring, we had a leak in our pool. Although Line Locators is in another state, they agreed to come out without hesitation. Berni provided an accurate estimate over the phone and quickly scheduled an appointment for service. Scott was the assigned technician. He was prompt, knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful. He identified our issue and documented everything for our records and so the pool company would be clear about the needed repair. We had some follow up questions a few weeks later. Berni and Scott provided quick responses and ensured we understood things and were satisfied. Later this summer, we thought we had a new leak. Scott came back out to recheck the pool for leaks and allay our concerns. It turns out there was not a second leak. Rather, we had a combination of hot summer evaporation and user error. Scott was patient and respectful. He explained the phenomenon well and again documented everything for our records. Finally, Kim in the billing department, is also great to work with. The invoices are prompt, clear, and accurate. She did everything possible to make sure that our total experience was superb.

Located both sewer and copper propane lines as requested. I spent the day at home waiting for their visit BUT ... The technician did not text or call to tell us when they were going to be on site. Nor did they ring door bell to announce they were on site. As a result there was no opportunity to ask questions, such as how deep or the lines, or to ask about the marking of a 2nd sewer line that was a false signal. I had to contact their office to clarify this. Would be a 5* review if the tech had rung the door bell, and answered questions while on site.

Washingtons gas contractor looked for a reason to postpone even though utilities were on opposite side of where they would be working Line Locators fixed the situation. They quickly responded and the contractor had no option to do the work. They expected by forcing me to mark the utilities they would be able to delay the job. They were shocked when I called them and said we are waiting on them. I was impressed with not only their marking with paint and flags but they also indicated the line depths. I have been hearing a mysterious dripping noise in one of my walls, and Scott was amazing at helping me solve my problem — all over email! It would have cost me quite a bit to have someone come here and open up the wall, and Scott had a suspicion that it wasn’t necessary. So he walked me through a series of questions over email and responded so quickly and thoroughly with the likely source of the noise (upstairs neighbor’s sink or toilet!) and recommended a cheap moisture monitor took just to be safe. He did this all free of charge on a weekend. Truly amazed and grateful!

Scott’s electronic apparatus with the headphones let him zero in on it fairly quickly. He also carefully checked possible leak areas with dye. He was able to determine that the underwater light on the wall of the pool did not leak water using a transparent cover and dye. I had been wondering about that lamp for years.
