Ive been using Lonnie now for several years. He is very professional and competent, timely, takes extra effort to keep the work area clean and neat ( sometimes very hard to do when working on sewers), and a very good value ( just did a job for me that other companies were going to charge 2 times more for the same service). I would highly recommend him as I have to all of my friends!

I was very impressed with this guy. I called this guy to reset my toilet due to a wax ring leak. He had good availability and came right out. Showed up with a face covering on. 5 minutes later he diagnosed the problem as actually being my supply line was bleeding water under the toilet that eventually was re-surfacing around the edge.He could have easily changed out my toilet and billed me $150-$200 and tightened down the supply line, but he was able to keep it to a service call. Im happy to pay for him the $75 or so for the consultation because to me you pay someone for their expertise and ability to fix a problem you have not just their time. So I pulled out my checkbook, thrilled that it was going to cheaper than expected, and he refused to bill me for it. I even insisted a second time pointing out that his expertise fixed the problem and time was worth something, but he insisted that it was a big deal. I would absolutely use this guy again. Good first visit.

Really cant say enough great things.Called a day before due to basement flooding. Not only were they able to make an appointment for the very next day (and even said if it was an emergency, they may be able to do the same day), but they were on time and got right to it.Guy is very professional, and as new homeowners, helped educate us on ways to prevent the clog from getting drained again, and what routine maintenance needs to be done.Prices are incredibly reasonable. This is the second time Ive used them (previous issue unrelated) and theyll be my first call every time.

While he was on the job, he took the time to answer any questions I had and even offered tips on how to help prevent possible plumbing issues. Lonnie has been here twice. Quick response to my call each time. Fixed the plugged kitchen sink pipes with a rooter and sealed a PVC connector. Lonnie was polite, efficient and cleaned up after his work. He also gave helpful ideas for preventing this problem. Highly recommend his service!

I love American Rooter!! They return your calls promptly and schedule you very quickly. We had an issue yesterday with our wash tub overflowing. Not as serious as a flooded basement, but still wasn’t a great situation. I called and left them a voicemail. My call was returned quickly and they were at my house within an hour of my call. Also very affordable and friendly. We have them snake our drain every 9 months or so due to a large tree in our yard. I rely on them for so much and will continue to do so. A very satisfied customer!!!

Always great service from American Rooter! They have been my go to for residential needs for almost 20 years, particularly for sewer lines. This is a family-owned business and Lonnie and Lonnie Jr. are courteous, timely and professional. Their pricing is very reasonable. I wouldnt go to anyone else.

Lonnie is quite possibly the best plumber Ive ever worked with in my entire life! Ive had the pleasure of working with him twice and both instances proved his knowledge and his intentionality on providing superb customer service.Lonnie takes the time to explain everything he does in a way that almost anyone can understand. His prices are competitive and reasonable and he has an immense amount of integrity! The last job he did for me, he misquoted the price and was gracious enough to point out the error and reimburse me before leaving! As a self-admittedly ignorant person when it comes to all things plumbing related, he could have let it slide and collected more money for his self, but he did the right thing instead.Another aspect to his service that I really enjoy is his prompt response time and his punctuality. Most plumbers Ive worked with in the past schedule a window of time that theyll arrive and they almost always (from my experiences) arrive later. Not Lonnie. Lonnie showed up earlier than he quoted which worked out for me because I had to get to work for a meeting.I cannot stress enough how amazing my experiences have been hiring Lonnie. Im actually looking forward to the next plumbing emergency we have just so I can hire him again! If youre on the fence about using his service for your plumbing needs, Im here to encourage you to GO FOR IT! You will not regret it!

I had American Rooter come out and clean out the main drain to the sewer. Luckily I caught it early enough that it wasnt completely clogged - just very slow to drain. He arrived on time and completed the work in about an hour. He also gave me some routine maintenance tips for the future. The price was exactly what I had anticipated and was slightly cheaper than chain companies I have used in the past. American Rooter will provide excellent service, competitive price, and it will keep your money local.

The owner of American Rooter showed up an hour early to our house, which was greatly appreciated. He rooted our main sewer drain to the street and pulled out the roots that were causing the blockage. He was very professional and nice and completed the work in under an hour. Will definitely call him the next time we have plumbing issues.

I had originally called a big name plumber to come and clear a blockage in my floor drain. They had to be called a second time because the first guy went down the wrong hole. They then tried to convince me that I needed a sump crock added for over $5000. A week later it happened again. This time I called American Rooter. He showed up on time and fit me in quickly. The real problem was identified and he was able to take care of it quickly. I will not call anyone else for my plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

We had a clogged toilet on a saturday night. Several people told is they couldnt help until the next day. Lonnie was there sooner that expected. He got our problem solved and gave us tips so it doesnt happen again. I hope never to need his service again, but if I do, he will definitely be the first person I call.

We had a backed up main, full of roots. We called American Rooter at 7pm on Saturday night. Left a message. Received a call back with 10 mins. Lonnie showed up at 8pm. After just shy of 2 hours of rooting, we were back in business. VERY fair price also. We will be calling American Rooter once a year from now on to clean out our drain.

My drains and shower especially had been backing up and leaking in my basement. I called around 1:00pm and he called me back and was at my place by 3:30 the same day! He was able to clear years (beyond even when I purchased the home!) of backup and tree roots. He was professional, friendly, and educational! When he was unable to get the farthest clog (mind you this was not in any way due to lack of effort!) he referred me to another company to have the entire line jetted. He even made the connection for me so I got a call from the next company! Absolutely outstanding service and very reasonable prices. Thank you American Rooter!
