This past week the weather turned colder. Naturally our furnace fan motor stopped working! We called UGI/Home Serve. There was a service person here within the hour. He repaired the fan motor which had a loose wire. He is knowledgeable and courteous. He indicated that he has on all weekend should we have any problems. We turned off the fireplace and relaxed for the weekend. Thank you Bob!

I had an unusual problem w my outdoor a/c capacitor/fan that was going off even though I was running heat in my house. It was concerning and mysterious. Rich came and troubleshot the problem, eventually calling his supervisor. They both were professional, polite and informative. Rich replaced the burned out capacitor which was essentially fried. He and his boss had never seen anything like it! I am so grateful for their service; it couldve caused a fire at some point!

My water heater was leaking. The company was great, they came out the next day after the phone call and inspected the unit and gave me payment options and installed my water heater tank the next day after inspection. The guys were great. Did the job quick, 1 hr. They were nice to talk to and cleaned up their mess and everything was clean. They explained everything. No complaints. Thanks guys.

I received good, attentive A/C service on the hottest day of this summer so far. Our system had somehow come back all by itself by the time he arrived. No issues were found, but After a thorough check of each component, the technician asked if there had been any power flickers before our compressor shut down. We had experienced a flicker of our lights a few hours before we noticed that it was getting very hot inside, and that our compressor was no longer working even though the Google Nest showed that the compressor was working. He said that from experience he’s learned that the Nest can lose its way when the power flickers. We will be on the lookout in the future if we have a power flicker. I appreciate his insight, his demeanor and service level.

Over 10 years ago we converted from oil and bought a new gas furnace for our old hot water radiator heating system from UGI. We were so impressed with our salesman Paul Speitel, and the service weve received over the years, that when our 20 year old air conditioning system failed Paul was thankfully still with the company and he was the first person we called. The system was old and beyond repair and Paul went to work to track down a complete new system since both the outside compressor and inside air handler needed replaced. The soonest they could get the needed equipment ordered on site and installed was 3 weeks during the heat wave in July. We were worried how we would hold up. Fortunately UGI found 3 portable window air conditioners in their warehouse, brought them out on loan, and installed them. Our new AC unit has now been installed and running for over a week and works amazingly better than our old unit. The guys installing it were amazing and kept everything neat and clean. THANK YOU UGI!!!!

UGI installed our 3 zone sub-floor radiant heat system 15 years ago when many other contractors said it couldnt be done. We purchase the Maintenance plan and have peace of mind knowing that if something goes haywire, we get priority service. Recently had our maintenance done and 2 days later there didnt seem to be any heat, so a technician came, on a Sunday, to diagnose and fix it. We LOVE our heating system and UGI has been super to do business with over the years.

I had an estimate on work we needed done. I paid one half down to schedule the job. I had second thoughts and called UGI. Their tech came out and reviewed our situation. He took the time to measure my room indoors and the out side of the room to ensure there was an actual bend in my chimney as the other company said. Even though UGI does not do the work I needed done, their tech took the time to explore my situation, review the estimate I had., and refer a company that has done similar work as I needed . This mans diligence saved my husband and I $3,000.00. I cant thank UGI enough! I now can sleep knowing my family is safe at one half the original estimate!

We have been using UGI Heating, Cooling and Plumbing as the service provider for all of repairs and servicing of our home’s systems for as long as I can remember. They are always very professional and have been able to repair any problem.A little over a year ago we decided that it was time to purchase a Service Plan for our furnace, air conditioner and water heater. The cost was very reasonable, about $200 for the year, which covers the parts and labor for the repairs.Well this year we had a problem when my husband was out of town. I called UGI Heating, Cooling and Plumbing and they arrived in about 2-1/2 hours. The repairman replaced the exhaust fan and cleaned the burners in a little more than a 1-1/2 hours he was finished. He gave me a copy of the service invoice and explained the repairs he had made. We were pleased to see that the repairs were FREE covered by UGIs service plan, saving us $848.Thank you UGI.Gin Waughtel
