Ray Anthony was the plumber that came out from Carter and he did an excellent job. Explained everything so I could understand & showed us what broke. Fixed our toilet & saw a broken flange too ! Went above and beyond & asked if I had other “water” issues & found a leaking pressure controller that we wouldn’t have not seen if he hadn’t checked the water heater. It had already started leaking in the garage and who knows how long before it actually broke completely we had a flood before we noticed it. Thanks Ray for an excellent job !

I called Carter Quality Plumbing around 1PM on a Wednesday afternoon after I had water backing up into my pipes. The first techs, Randy and Ethan, arrived within an hour of my initial call and determined the issue was that my septic tank had become full and needed to be pumped so they called the office for me to have that set up for the following morning. Thursday by 9AM, Douglas and Phillip were in my driveway ready to pump my system out for me and get me back up and running. They assessed a few other things and determined there was a, separate, underlying issue with a float in one of our tanks that needed to be fixed that was causing the rest of the system to back up into the house. They promptly called the office and asked that an additional tech come out and replace the float/figure out if that was the root of the problem for sure. Those service guys were at the house within an hour also and analyzed the problem further to get us answers.I am very pleased with the quality of service I have received thus far from this company. All of the guys that have come out have been willing to answer my 400 questions about how the system works and what needs to be fixed about it, and they have all arrived promptly and started sorting through the issue we are having. I would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing/septic service in the area, and I will use them in the future for any of my personal plumbing or septic needs.9/6 - Update. Randy came out today to finish up the work on our septic system. I appreciate him working his way through our issue and getting us a new alarm box and alarm float and his dedication to figuring it out for us since it wasnt the easiest of tasks.

I am on the HOA board of an older town home community in Charlotte. We spent weeks with two different plumbers trying to trace down leaks at two separate buildings with plumbing invoices mounting higher and higher with no resolution in site. I called another company (Brian with Carolina Leaks) to trace our leak (also excellent by the way) and told him about all the issues and the 100k we’d spent as a community trying to fix our lines. Brian recommended Carters and although hesitant our board decided to use them. A few things stood out to me;1. The customer service was impeccable. We had constant communication with photos or on site inspections for the few days they were here excavating and replacing lines showing us the issues, giving us options, and holding our hands (figuratively) thru the process. It was bad enough we had three trucks out here, (it was a bad situation) but ALL the plumbing masters and apprentices were incredibly friendly and took the time to help us understand what our options were.2. The cost was reasonable, not only reasonable, but extremely reasonable. What we paid another plumber for a patch, was what Carter charged for a full line replacement. I didn’t feel we’d been overcharged or taken advantage of when everything was said and done.3. We have 191 homes. One day we had to cut the entire line at the main, and Red, Jason and their respective crews didn’t leave until the job was done. They kept me updated, were friendly, and kept on schedule to get the neighborhood water restored before they left.4. They cleaned up their mess, and helped us get back to normal. They are our new preferred plumber.As a board and personally, I’ve been passing out business cards since I got a few at the end of our job. I’d recommend them to anyone and I am SO grateful for the work they did. Thank you guys! Excellent work to your crews and Brian!20/10 would recommend.

Im very grateful for the team at Carter. I had the pleasure of being served by three outstanding gentlemen tasked with a mammoth project. Jonathan, Luke, and Phillip were beyond professional every step of the way. In just a few days, they managed to repipe the entire house, replace the main water line, remove my old water heater in the attic, and install a brand new tankless water heater under the house.From the very beginning, the communication was stellar. They informed me of everything they were doing before they did it. Before they drilled the first hole, before they intended to shut off the water, before they had to dig in the front yard, they explained everything in great detail so that I felt comfortable throughout the week. They were so pleasant to work with, I actually enjoyed having them around for a few days. Dont get me wrong, they worked their tails off endlessly for five consecutive days. However, during a small lunch break or as they were cleaning up for the day, it was a pleasure getting to chat with them and getting to know them throughout the process.Jonathan consistently went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of throughout the week by working around certain things to make my life easier (despite making his job more challenging).I would never use or recommend another plumbing company outside of Carter Quality Plumbing. You wont be disappointed with the quality of the work, the professionalism, and the communication from the beginning of your project to the end.10/10, no question.

This is the first time I used Carter, and it will certainly not be the last. He was professional, and detailed answering my many questions. I had what I thought were 3 problems concerning my sink. He diagnosed and after a short time, new exactly the problem, and fixed everything..I had many other questions after he was through. Not once did he show he was annoyed by them. He really knows his stuff.. To add. The ladies in the office were kind and professional as well.

Had an issue where only our cold water pressure wasn’t working. Another plumber told us we just need to call Moen for a new faucet. Randy came out to our house. They called ahead and said he could be there 30 minutes earlier than our appointment window which worked great. This guy was great. He diagnosed the problem immediately. Then checked the water pressure for our whole house and saw it was low. I feel like he took extra steps to help us when he could have easily just fixed what we called about and been on his way. I will definitely be using Carter’s in the future.

My husband discovered we had a water leak under the house. We called Carter and within 30 minutes Randy was out to check the problem. He confirmed it was a hot water leak and was able to repair it on the spot. Due to work, neither of us were able to be home while he was there, but Carter worked with us and we were able to do everything over the phone (a HUGE plus!!) Randy also let us know of a potential problem with the amount of moisture and got us set up with a restoration company that has been very professional. Randy called me a few days after the repair to check on us and see if we were able to start the dry out process with the restoration company. A+ customer service from Randy and Carter Quality. We will definitely use Carter again for any plumbing issues in the future!

I am giving a five star review only because Google does not allow you to give more because if they did I would give a 10 star review to Carter Quality Plumbing and their phenomenal plummer, Jonathan. My debacle that turned into a blessing started when I had another plumbing company install a new Bradford White hot water heater almost a year ago. Unfortunately, there were some issues and it didnt work properly as the pilot light went out and eventually wouldnt light. Even though it was under warranty, I learned very quickly that the plumber who installed it (that I know personally), his customer service sucks. He wanted me to wait a long time before he came out and he wanted me to called to manufacture to get the parts covered under warranty, etc. This was unacceptable so I called Cater Quality, based on their website and reviews. I was warmly greeted by, how can we make you smile today and the same day that had a plummer come out. Since Carter Quality did not originally install it, this was a concern about getting the parts covered under warranty. The plumber who originally installed it didnt care too much about this so I had Carter Quality come back out, Jonathan arrived on scene and he is the main reason why I am writing this review. He was professional, patient, experienced and explained things well. He went out of his way and called the manufacture - Bradford White, and because of this, he was able to get the part (burner assembly) covered under warranty! WOW! Jonathan and Carter Quality Plumbing is now my new, go to plumbing company. They have won me over. I called the company and asked to speak with Chris, the owner, who called me back so I could brag on Jonathan and the phenomenal customer service he provided. I told Christ that I dont know know what he is paying Jonathan, but it is not enough. THANK YOU Jonathan and Carter Quality Plumbing for making me smile :-) I removed the old plummer from my phone contacts and now have Carter Quality Plumbing. IF you are reading this and trying to decide what plumbing company you should use - look no further.

We’ve used Carter a few times in the last 3 yrs. and have been very happy with the professionalism, response time and quality of work. Ray has been to our house a couple times now and is always super friendly and explains the repairs clearly. Although recently the pricing has been significant, it measures up to the inflation costs of everything that has gone up in the last few years. Unfortunately, it’s not the companies fault and I would rather pay more than find out they are cutting corners to lower costs. I would definitely recommend this company.

I used Carter Quality Plumbing for the first time today. They arrived early, before I got home but they were agreeable to waiting for me. I was told by my HVAC tech that I needed to replace an exterior faucet. Cost quoted was $400! Way too expensive for me now. Technician told me faucet ok & suggested an alternative repair - $149.00. I agreed & repair completed quickly.They were very helpful & competent & I appreciate their help & their work!

The repairman (Ray) arrived on time after calling ahead, immediately found the problem, explained clearly, and gave an estimate. He worked with us to schedule repairs that fit into our time, and was courteous the entire time. He (and his helper) did the job with no unnecessary mess, and cleared up the area when done. We will not hesitate to call on Carter Plumbing again.We recently called on them to check a wet spot in front of the house: Tyler responded quickly, spotted the problem as a leak in the city water line (which he could not touch), called the city to get repairs made, then spent most of an hour checking some concerns with plumbing under the floor. The pleasant and professional demeanor we encountered when making our service appointment with Miranda was matched by Wesley when he arrived the next day. He took time to listen to the problems we were having and then did a careful review of his own. His clear explanation of our issue and next steps was reassuring. Despite some unexpected challenges, Wesley was creative and remained committed to the job until our system was up and running. Kevin and his assistant Mike did a fantastic job repairing our plugged drain line from the kitchen sink. It was a rather difficult fix that required proper planning and surgery on walls / ceiling for access. Installation of a new connection to the sink drain line was performed in a very professional manner. The subsequent sheet rock installation was performed the same day, also in a professional manner. The sink now drains properly and all that needs to be done from this point on is paint over the access areas. Job well done! Kevin also provided instructions to us as on how to perform preventative maintenance to ensure that drain line plugging will not occur in the future, as well adopting an enzyme treatment schedule to our remaining drains & septic system so as to ensure proper performance. I called late on a Saturday evening with, in my opinion, an emergency. First, let me say that when I spoke to the person on the phone(Kristie?), I felt so much better when she told me someone could be there tonight and the ground fix it.When Matt and Hunter got here, they quickly diagnosed the problem. They were diligent in their work, were very friendly and positive about the whole situation. I appreciated this because I know they had a very long day already. The problem was fixed in probably 2 hours! I can sleep tonight!👍Overall I can’t say enough about how positive my entire experience was and the price was very fair. In short, these are good people. I showed Matt and Hunter my water heater also, which is working, but it’s also 19 years old and I know I’m running on luck. They gave me an estimate. When I’m ready, I’ll be calling Carter Quality Plumbing!

Ive used Carter Quality Plumbing twice; both were emergencies requiring immediate attention, one was on a weekend. In both cases their technicians responded right away, diagnosed my problem accurately, gave me repair scenarios and the associated costs and assisted me in making my decision. My most recent encounter with them was last week. Cam McGuirt came out to diagnose a persistent septic system problem that had just gone critical. He confirmed my suspicion that my distribution box was saturated and my drain field needed to be replaced. This was a major repair but he started work that afternoon. Using materials and techniques that were new to me, he had me up and running within 3 days. His work took less time than originally predicted so he adjusted my cost downward. Cam cleaned-up after himself and left a very happy customer. Chris and the folks at Carter have my plumbing business from here on out. Give them a shot and you wont be disappointed!

Derrick and Cory installed a water softener for us. They contacted us ahead of time to let us know when theyd arrive. They were both so polite and did a terrific job. They also repaired some plumbing a former company installed incorrectly. We have used Carter Plumbing multiple times now and have been highly pleased with each team member and their great customer service. They know what theyre doing and always do an excellent job. Derrick came back another time and installed a faucet. He is a pleasure to work with. We will request him in the future.

AJ Adams and Ray Anthony worked at our 62 year old home with ( you got it) our 62 year old plumbing! They were an incredible team! Not only were they nice and friendly but they were very professional and knowledgeable. And offered, if they had a cancellation they could come today. She gave me their pricing. Within 15 minutes of the technicians arriving, she gave me a call. The technicians were professional, on time, and friendly. They pumped the tank. I was briefed on what they had done. These technicians have a lot of integrity. I hope to see them back again in around 2 years.
